Adventure Thread - Group A

Kopi is placated by the shiny coin. It quickly reaches out and snatches it up, stashing it in Rei's hair for now. It is his mobile nest, after all. She's discovered many a shiny object hidden in there when she goes to brush it/clean it. Kopi gives very rough directions on which way to go. After a few hours of walking, he tells you to stop and flutters away to a nearby branch. Seems you've arrived at the edge of the "pink energy zone". Doesn't seem any different than the rest of the forest, except for the trees being older, perhaps.

"I mean, I guess we just go in? If I had a big shield thing, I'd put the thing I was guarding right in the middle."

Clay steps forward in among the older trees experimentally - the way Kopi talked about it, only Dark-types cared much about the energy, but he's not sure what to expect. "We could send Peng and Tootsie up now to see if they can make out anything, but I bet the trees are pretty thick here, it might all blend into the canopy. Whaddaya think, is it worth a try anyway?"

Aeon the Sylveon does indeed sense it. To Aeon, it feels wonderful, like they're truly alive! Apparently this stuff is connected to...whatever Type a Sylveon is.

With nothing able to fly well on her team now and nothing connected to this type, Rei can't do much here. Setting out Piesc is about her best option, and her Umbreon siblings would probably hate being out right now.

To make sure Rei can find Kopi again, Rei goes back to let Kopi know that if they don't come back in a few hours, just head back to the room. She then marks their location just so they can find it again. Rei then heads in with Piesc without a word, just hoping that heading in deeper from the outside radius will lead to something for Tiki's pokemon or somebody or they'll see something.

The trees seem to grow denser and denser as one pushes further in; almost as if the forest itself is trying to deter people from going too deep. Pretty soon, you can barely even see the path in front of you. Just as you begin to think that you can't possibly push any further, the area suddenly opens up into a large clearing. At the center of this clearing is an absolutely enormous tree. It's so huge, in fact, that you wonder how anyone could possibly miss spotting it from the air. But then, Clay isn't a bird, so he doesn't know what it looks like from above. Maybe if you're high enough, it all looks like just one long line of green?

You barely even have time to wrap your minds around the sheer scale of the tree before you find yourselves bound by what look like tree roots that hold your legs in place. As Holly goes to hack them away with Honedge, a voice calls out.

"I wouldn't do that, if I were you. Shaymin wouldn't appreciate it much."

Hey waitaminute, it's that weird person from before! The one who beat up the thief and got your stuff back (if only to get you to leave).

Tiki struggles in the roots, but stops when she sees that one woman. Le Gasp! "It is you! You helped us before when our pokemon got stolen!"
