Tiki calms her breathing, and wipes her brow after a pretty good performance. She waves to the boys as they come by. "Awww! Thanks guys! Thank you so much for this opportunity!" Tiki takes the result letter with shaky hands, and goes over it carefully. A 34.3/50! She felt it was better than that, but she scored well above average. These were some tough customers, but she could improve much more too! She shows off the results to the boys. "Look! Look! They did like it! They even want another performance in 3 weeks!" She then fidgets about, and looks to the boys. "Speaking of which...I was actually thinking of possibly obtaining residence here. Do you guys know of someplace I might be able to find, or know anybody selling a home?"

The boys fall silent, considering Tiki's request. Within a few minutes, they look at one another and nod.
#1: "Yes. I do believe that-"
#2: "-we can set you up with a residence. It-"
#3: "-won't be enormous, but definitely better than whatever-"
#1: "-you may have had back at your Adventurer's Guild."
#2: "Come with me-"
#3: "-and you'll be-"
All: "-in a world you've only ever dreamed of!"
(bonus points if you sing along in your head)

Tiki happily claps as she might have gotten a place. She quickly gets out of her dress, and gets everything packed up. She also makes sure to meet back up with Clay. She makes sure to fill him in on the judges thoughts, and that the rich boys might know of a place she can stay. She continues to follow the boys to where they lead her.

Clay really doesn't feel like such quiet noise qualifies as applause, but clearly this is the sort of place where it's not good manners to be very noisy, so he tries to keep his own applause as Tiki finishes down. When she leaves, he follows after her, this time with Peng flapping along behind. More eyes are better, always.
He skips ahead for a moment to catch up with her. "You did great, Tiki! Uh, where are we going?"

She waves to Clay. "Hiya Clay! The boys who got me this opportunity just might have a place for me here in Celadon! Come along! Also the judges liked the performance so much that they want to se me again in 3 weeks!"

"That's great!" He feels a bit of a pang that his friends are scattered so far apart - but then, he knows Rei's still planning to spend some time here in Celadon soon, presumably he'll be along with. And once this whole thing is over, who knows where they're all going to end up. "I know you've been working really hard for all this."
After more than a week of Tiki being depressed and halfway crazy, it's so good to see her happy again.

The boys lead Clay and Tiki (+ entourage) to what can only be described as a mansion. It's almost twice the size of the Adventurer's Guild!
All three boys: "We are here. Welcome to our home."
#1: "This is, of course-"
#2: "-only temporary lodging for you while-"
#3: "-we make other arrangements. Fret not, you shall have-"
#1: "-all the privacy you desire, and-"
#2: "-our servants shall attend-"
#3: "-to your every need."

Tiki marvels at the size of the mansion. "Oh my gosh....I can actually stay here? That's awesome!" Tiki helps unload her luggage again, and looks to Clay. "We should head back soon to get the other pokemon."

Clay gives a low, appreciative whistle. "What is it with this city and huge buildings?" He shakes his head as he helps Tiki unload everything.
When Tiki suggests they should head back to the guild to round up the rest of her team, Clay gives her a faux salute with his staff, grinning. "Aye aye, General!" Well, they aren't in any danger of not having anything to do today, even if it's just herding the rest of Tiki's army back to Celadon. "Is it okay if I take a little while when we get back? Fan and Sandy were learning some new techniques and I wanna see if they're done yet."

Tiki nods. "Yeah. Yeah. Of course. I'll just need to round up my other pokes, and grab the rest of my things. So, you can take your time." Tiki lets her things be taken by the mansion staff, and she mounts her Tauros. She looks to the boys, "We'll be back soon. I need to grab my pokemon, and belongings. Thank you again!"

And Clay will trail along behind happily enough. Once they get out of the city he'll mount up on Red Child; the main reason he hasn't before is just that he's not sure how the city would react to a giant lion-dog wandering the streets with a boy on his back.
Assuming they reach the Guild without incident he'll head off to the Fire and Water branches to see if it's time to collect Fan and Sandy. Just in case it matters, he heads to the Fire Branch first.

When they reach the guild, Tiki starts rounding up her pokes. She keeps some of the larger ones, like hermit, in his apricorn ball so they don't slow down travel. Tiki now mounts Chariot, while Toppo can carry more luggage, and pull the cart carrying the tiny pokemon such as Fool, Priestess, and Sookie. Tiki hangs around outside as she waits for Clay to rejoin them.

Clay comes back after a little bit. "Looks like they're not ready yet. I'll try again later, or maybe tomorrow. You all ready to go?" Clay calls Red Child out again and mounts up; it looks like most of Tiki's Pokémon are in their balls or in the cart so they shouldn't be too much trouble, but having an outrider can't hurt.

"Mhm. Ok everyone, we are off to Celadon. Keep feet, wings, and tails inside the cart at all times." Tiki, her pokes, and Clay take off back to Celadon Castle Town. They make their way back to the mansion, unload everything, and get all of Tiki's pokemon situated. She takes a moment to finally rest by sitting the comfiest bed she's ever lied upon. "Uuggghhhh....So tired....This place is huge! Super fancy too! At least everyone is out of that guild."

"At least everyone is out of that guild" makes Clay's lips twist in a difficult-to-read expression, but he tries to do it where Tiki can't see. Clearly he still has mixed feelings about everyone leaving the place.
Then he forces a smile. "Looks like you're going to be just fine, huh? You need anything else?"

"Yeah, I gotta see her at some point... and pick up Fan and Sandy. If I'm gonna move out here permanently I gotta bring my whole team out." Clay sticks out his tongue. At least transporting his team will be less of an ordeal than Tiki's, if he does leave the Guild on any sort of permanent basis.
"I guess probably I'll see if Fan and Sandy are done training tomorrow and then run up and see her and talk to Rei. The whole branch is going up pretty nearby the day after anyway but I need to quit putting off seeing her." There's just been so much to take care of - helping-slash-looking-out-for Tiki, the new staff, the tutoring for Fan and Sandy, a lot of it's been gearing up for the conflict he eventually expects. Maybe he'll let Instructor Mason know he's going and might meet them up there the next day instead of coming back just to turn right around at the crack of dawn.

Tiki nods along, but looks away slightly when Clay brings up Rei. Oh geez...Tiki was pretty absorbed with other things that she had almost completely forgotten about Rei. She...really didn't know how to feel about that. But, that was what she wanted right? She wanted to stop thinking about her, and thus, she would stop thinking about sad things....It...was working? Time apart seemed to have worked for Tiki, but they would have to rejoin to take care of this "death of everything" problem. She still wished it could be ignored. Finally being in Celadon, and performing was all that she wanted...Tiki felt more worried about seeing Rei again than the usurper problem. Would all those terrible feelings come back? Tiki sighed, and looked back to Clay. "Well, whatever ya do, I'll be here if ya need me. Are you gonna come back right away from Cerulean, or stay there a few days?...Do you think I should go too?"

Clay rubs the back of his neck. "I'm... not sure. Instructor Mason said the Fighting Branch thing was 'extended training'. Probably the plan is to stay away until the branch leaders have done something about D'mara, where they can't get caught in the crossfire. It might depend on how things go. I'd planned to stay a few days anyway, or at least until Rei wanted to come back down here."
He rubs the back of his neck. "I'm not gonna lie, I'd like it if you came. There's this thing we need to take care of... Just a sec." He glances at the door as if he expects someone to be listening there - in fact he actually goes and checks for a moment whether there's anyone outside.
Finding no one, he shuts the door firmly and comes back. "Sorry, I know it's weird, but this is dead secret. Nobody but the four of us can know this, okay?" He lowers his voice and tells Tiki what Ming-Na told him about the ancient tree that might be connected to Xerneas, and the shortcut from the other tree near Mt. Moon. "I'm planning on checking into that while I'm up there, and it... might need all four of us to be there. I know you don't wanna have to deal with this, but..."
He trails off with a sigh, rubbing his arm. "If you want, you can stay here and I'll send Peng if it turns out we definitely need you, but it might save time if you came along with me tomorrow or came up the next day or something."
