Adventure Thread - Group A

Tiki nods, and turns back to her food. Having Clay there makes her feel a lot safer, and puts her at ease a bit. Thanks Clay. It means a lot to me." She finishes what food she has left, and gets up. "I'm gonna start getting ready. I'll meet you outside later." Tiki waves, and heads back to her room with her eeveelutions close by her. She starts working on her hair, make up, and any accessories her pokes need.

"Okay, see you in a little while!" Once he's finished with his own meal, Clay gathers up his team and heads out for the smithy with Kaa at his heels, turning sharp reptilian eyes this way and that.

Having thanked Smith and his wife again, Clay heads back to the guild to wait until Tiki's ready to head to her venue. At least he's got time to get a bit of training in before then.

Clay walks alongside the cart, keeping a lookout the way he does and responding appropriately whenever Tiki addresses him. They take the journey slowly so as not to ruin all of Tiki's hard work on her appearance. At this leisurely pace, it takes a total of six hours to reach Celadon Castle Town's eastern gate. They are stopped briefly at the gate, but a quick check of their passes gleaned from the poacher incident a few weeks back and they're on their way into the city proper. It's huge.

Clay will gladly help with the unloading. He's here to help/be supportive, after all.

Tiki finds some people inside, though they aren't anyone she recognizes. One of the women approaches her. "You are Miss Tiki, yes? Excellent, good, yes. Come come, we must get you dressed and ready for your big day. This may just be a trial, but I'm sure you'll do wonderfully. You'll be a star before you know it." They usher her along to a dressing room, a very fancy dressing room, complete with a big, back-lit mirror and a number of accessory selections. "Take your time and make sure you look perfect for the performance. People will be watching, and judging you on more than just your talents. Welcome to the Big Leagues, Miss Tiki."

And Clay thought Saffron was a big city. Celadon Castle Town is huge - the castle alone looks like it's a respectable size for a small mountain, though that might just be how close he is to it. There's a lot of up to this city compared to Saffron - he hadn't been sure if humans even did this much up.

He can't spend too long staring, though - unloading is necessary, and the more people with hands who can help, the better. "Well, here we are. Beat Rei to it, even." Baloo shows off his strength by carrying a big bundle over his head as they work.

Once they've got all Tiki's stuff in for her, he recalls most of his team who've been helping and finds a spot in the back to lurk. Apparently next time he needs to remember to buy a ticket, though if they figure he's Tiki's bodyguard he's not going to complain. It's kind of flattering - the Guild taking him seriously is nice, but not as much of a surprise as having it come from strangers. Clearly the progress he's made is visible.

It doesn't hurt that he basically is doing a bodyguard thing, it's just not official or anything. He settles down to wait, looking around the venue cautiously.

In her two hours, Tiki is in her full get up, and her pokemon looking cute. With her pokemon, and associated props set, she takes to the stage. When the curtains open, Tiki begins with a poppy, upbeat song. As the song goes on she is joined in dance by each of her pokemon which includes Star, Aeon, Lovers, Tootsie, World, and Toppo. The small in-house band does a great job accompanying Tiki's songs. After the song concludes, they take their bows, pokes leave to the wings, and Tiki waves to the crowd. "Hello everyone! I'm so glad I'm able to be here in Celadon for the first time! I hope we all have a fantastic time!"


Opening number

Tiki smiles brightly for once in a very long time. After another quick song, it's time for one of her main talents. Her and Star take the stage. "Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to introduce my best companion, and who has been working with me for most of my life. This is the beautifully talented Star!" Her fluffy coat, shiny silk scarf, and being an unfamiliar eeveelution is sure to draw in some "Ooo's and ahhh's." Tiki pulls out a small red ball, drops it, and Star who is standing next to her, hits it back up with her tail. Tiki continues this game of tossing the ball back and forth as they grow apart in distance across the stage. Even when tossing it into the air, Star quickly jumps up to bring it back down. The routine grows in complexity as Tiki pulls out multiple balls, juggles them herself, between her and Star, and eventually Star juggling all 5 balls with her tail alone. Star then leaps into the air, Tiki catches her in her arms, and then catches all 5 balls with one hand. Tiki, and Star bow for the end of this segment.

Tiki's entire performance consists of song, then routine, song, routine, and so on. An elegant, soothing song followed by Aeon, who jumps various complex hoops, sparkles, and shines in the stage lights.
Tiki with a fast pop-rock song while she performs various acrobatic stunts ontop on her tauros, Toppo. A cutesy whimsical number as Tiki and Lovers glide across the stage in a ice-skating-esque routine. A cool rock song as Tootsie the Staraptor flies about the venue by performing aerial acrobatics. World lumbers onto the stage for a quirky, fun song as he demonstrates his lovable nature, goofy antics, and incredible feats of strength. All of Tiki's pokes join her on stage to watch her perform one last powerful ballad from the heart to close out her performance. Tiki, and crew bow for the crowd, and wave happily as curtains slowly close.
