Once Clay finishes morning training with the rest of the Fighting branch, he heads out for the front door to go ahead training. Distantly, he wonders when Rei is going to be back. He hopes somebody does tell him at some point... maybe he'll just have to make a point of being back for dinner.

Rei thumbs through some of the books, trying to see if any of it is even relevant to her search for the two legendaries... or even 'real' in the first place.
Occult: iVqvG|rO5d6+2
...And none of this is helpful. If Rei was more scholarly, maybe it'd be an interesting read, but it doesn't have anything to do with her search for Darkrai. If her nightmares were more... normal, maybe the general study ones would help but as-is she knows her nightmares are coming from a source beyond human reasoning. She puts the book back and sighs and rubs her temple. Wasn't there a big guild library? Maybe she'll try there later. She switches topics. It's time to finally see if there's anything on the 'subject' of their dreams. Yveltal.5d6+2

Hoo boy. There is a lot more stuff on that one. There's enough that there is an entire section devoted to the study of Necromancy and theories derived thereof. Not that learning how to "cast" magic similar to Yveltal's is helpful...geez, what sort of crazies are in this Branch? There's even a book dedicated to raising the dead! Okay, granted, it's actually been bound by lock and key and stuffed inside a glass case, but still. After what feels like ages poring over the spines of books and glancing at the first few pages, Rei finally finds a single book on Yveltal itself. Of course, it has a counterpart too. All things in balance. Xerneas is the name of its counterpart. May be worth looking into, but the book seems focused on Yveltal itself and not this 'Xerneas' thing.

Rei grabs the book, and she seems unable to find the companion book after searching. Not here, at least. Alongside this she finds no shortage of death-related topics. But that's not exactly 'unexpected', is it? Humans are obsessed with death. Or beyond it. Rei knows that... more than most.
She begins thumbing through the book here, trying to see if it'll actually help her figure anything out. She's more or less tuned the whole branch out, so she wouldn't notice if she was approached.

Tiki heads back to her room after another day of hard training. She does happen to spot a note at her feet when she enters. Upon reading it, her blood suddenly runs cold. The note shakes in her hand. The day had finally come. Tiki's mind seems to come to a halt as she sits on her bed in the corner, curls up, and hugs her knees. She stares out at nothing as time ticks by to her fated match with Rei.

Rei is startled out of her reading by an unfamiliar voice...right next to her! "Find a good read?" The voice asks.

Rei is indeed startled, and reading a book on a death god and then someone surprising her doesn't mix well. After she calms a moment, she looks over. She... doesn't recognize her from anywhere. But she could say that about lots in the guild.
"*Ahem* Uh I wouldn't say it's a 'good' read considering the contents."
Rei kinda looks at her for a moment before realizing something.
"Where you here when I sat down? I think I might have been so wrapped up in my own thoughts I may not have noticed, I'm sorry."

"Yveltal, huh? Pardon my curiosity, but is your interest in it scholarly, idle curiosity, or something else? It's not a book most people would pick up, though I personally find it quite fascinating."

Well it's not like her prophetic dreams are private, not to mention she's in the psychic branch and if this girl belongs here then she might hear her thoughts too. Rei will just gloss over the fact she didn't answer her question. Guess she didn't mind that Rei sat down next to her without noticing.
"Uhm. Let's call it 'something else', I suppose. But... where are my manners. I'm Rei. Rei Leeda. It's nice to meet you."

The strange girl smirks in a manner that sends shivers down Rei's spine. Rei doesn't feel any of the telltale "signs" of someone attempting to read her mind (though her only experience was with people/Pokemon politely alerting her to it as they begin communicating telepathically), so perhaps she's safe? Either way it's still creepy. Not quite "D'Mara" levels of creepy, but still creepy.
"I'm Namira. No other name. Just Namira. It's nice to meet another person who is interested in the Aspect of Death. Even if it's for 'other reasons'."

"Well it's nice to meet you Namira."
Rei tries to suppress her feelings about that smile, they just met afterall! Rei doesn't know why she's acting this way.
"I suppose I'm just searching for more information on Yveltal. I need to understand more about this legend. Trying to find all I can. Nothing about it's counterpart here, though."
Rei turns toward her.
"What do 'you' know about this 'aspect of death'?"

"All sorts of things that books won't tell you. For example, I know where you can find it. Or rather, where you can find The Cocoon of Destruction in which it slumbers." Namira answers with a completely straight face.

Rei does a double-take.
"Cocoon of Destruction..? But... you... know where it is?"
THAT got her attention.

Namira blinks in confusion, as if this were the most obvious bit of lore ever. "Yes. Yveltal is more than just the Aspect of Death. It also covers the Sphere of Destruction. I'm sure there are other Legendary Pokemon that have a hand in that as well, but we were discussing Yveltal, not them. And yes, I know where it is right now. You don't want to go there though. Waking it up would be a bad idea, as I'm sure you know if you've read anything about it."

"Well lets just say I haven't gotten far in the book yet. What is the Sphere of Destruction, and where exactly 'is' the place I don't want to go?"

"The 'Sphere of Destruction' is just a term for a Pokemon that is a literal destructive force. A 'Force of Nature' if you will. While an ordinary Pokemon could easily destroy humans, and some (like Dragons) could probably destroy small patches of land if they desired, Legendaries who fall within this Sphere cause destruction on a much larger scale. We're talking Region-wide destruction, easily. As for the Cocoon's physical location? I can't share that with you. It would be very irresponsible of me if I were to tell you and you later travel there and inadvertently wake up Yveltal, causing the deaths of everything within a large area of the region. Suffice to say that it is hidden and safe." Namira gives you a hard look, as if suggesting that you really don't want to press further for its location. The look lasts for only an instant before her more casual, neutral expression returns. Still, her words seem to imply that she is somehow responsible for the Cocoon...what could that mean?

Rei blinks a few times.
"Well no, I wouldn't want to go there and die, no. But you also kind of teased it's location by surrendering that you knew the information. A bit mean to turn around and say that it would be irresponsible to give it to me after that..."

"It's one thing to say I know where it is. It's quite another to actually divulge said information. Aside from that..." She glances around the room at nothing in particular. "One never knows who might be listening. 'The walls have ears', as they say. I will happily share any other information I have about Yveltal though. It's quite a fascinating subject, wouldn't you say?"

Rei's weird vibes are throwing her off of this one. She's not even sure if she should continue this conversation...
"Well that's what I mean. But... nevermind. What are you doing here in the psychic branch? Looking for anything in particular?"
Rei hopes changing the subject onto her might let her know something about this strange woman.

"Oh, just browsing. Occasionally chuckling at some of the odd books in here. Oneiromancy? Please. I'm pretty sure if that were a proper field of magical study and not just a gimmick (as far as humans are concerned) then there'd be more serious books on its usage. The only ones here are written by some fool who uses big words to sound smart to uninformed readers."
