Adventure Thread - Group A

Tiki waves, and accepts the banana. "Hey...Thanks." She silently eats her banana, and fights to break through the anxiety of apologizing for doing something wrong. "Sorry about yesterday...I might have fought harder than I needed, and I hope I didn't hurt you guys to badly." Success, and now back to the banana.

Tiki sighs, and shrugs. "Yeah. Alright then. We are getting closer to the important date. Any day now, she's gonna be coming back.....Until then, more training. What are you gonna be doin'?"

Tiki merely shrugs again. "Hm." She gets up from her seat, and looks to Clay. "Alright then. I'm off to do training. See ya around." Thinking about training already made her feel exhausted, but she went out for it anyways. She still couldn't shakes all the worries, and anxiety she had, but she tried her best to ignore it.

Clay heads to breakfast around the same time, and gives Tiki a wave. "Morning, Tiki! How's it going?" She certainly looks better to him.

... He's gonna keep the thing with the fire-breathing Magikarp to himself for now though. Talking about an embarrassing defeat to the person who defeated him is one thing, especially if it's a friend and he knew he was in for an uphill fight going in. Admitting he got his tail kicked by a mildly-crazy guy with a Magikarp is another one.

"Oh, cool! That's great, Tiki!" It might be suspicious, he guesses, but all he has to go on is what Tiki says so it might just be the vagueness. And it's good to have her be happy about something. "I don't think I've heard you sing anything that wasn't battle screaming for a while, come to think of it." Not that she's had a lot to sing about, lately.

"Only interesting thing I ran into yesterday was a weird fisherman guy. I, uh, don't wanna talk about it." That is definitely an embarrassed look on Clay.

"Not sure. I... think she said up to a week? It's been, uh..." Extended periods of time with Clay's friends being emotionally wrecked doesn't seem to have done his time sense much good. "I've lost count. But probably any day now."

"Probably just head out training. Try to break this stupid losing streak I've been on. Did a little better yesterday, but I think losing to you jinxed me somewhere." He sticks his tongue out, mostly to show that he's not serious. "How about you?"

As Tiki heads out of the Guild, she thinks she spies something odd out of the corner of her eye. A red.. stripe? just sitting against a wall. When she blinks, it's gone though.

Rei sighs. She really wished Holly would have been nice to come home to. But it seems Clay may not be the only one in need of lessons in the written word, as Rei can really only make out that Holly misses her and that she's gone to visit her sister. So she has no idea of when she'll get back.

At least her pokemon miss her as she's tackled by the more affectionate ones as soon as she returns. She's tackled to the ground with an 'eep!'. And after, the more sleepy Yagami just walks over near Rei's head and just sits and gives off a small mewl and a happy look. Rei just laughs. 

"Hi, you all."

Rei stands, in particular trying to get Hikari off of her (who keeps zipping around to different parts of Rei's body before she can get to her until he can't do it anymore), and brings out her more weary team.

"Ok everyone, I have a few more friends from Rock Tunnel I'd like you all to meet."

Rei releases all her new captures so all her pokemon to meet. (And Duch and Gryz are also showing off their new forms.) Platek, the Glalie; Kolo the Klang; Oko the Sableye; Piesc the Riolu; and...

"Wait where Weid go?"

Rei looks around for Weid the Teddiursa and sighs when she sees her bag moving. Probably eating the other jar of honey. Rei moves over to get him out of the bag when it starts shining the now-familiar shine of evolution! Weid's form grows HUGE, and at the end, an Ursaring stands before Rei! The big bear slumps down into a siting position... and then continues to eat the jar of honey happily as if nothing had happened. Rei apprehensively approaches him before finally moving closer and decides the big belly with the circle seems like a good target for pets! And it quickly seems to be a good idea as Weid lays back and gives a content gurgle between the belly rubs and the honey.

He's so huge now. Hope I can find enough to keep him fed...

All her new pokemon do quite a bit of conversing and getting to know their pokemon fellows while Rei slips out. She has a couple things to set in motion. First she supplies up on stuff to cook up more snacks for use during the fight. Her supplies ran low after Rock Tunnel. Then, she approaches Tiki's room. When she feels like the coast is clear she approaches and leaves a note under her door.

Tiki. I've returned from Rock Tunnel. At first light, I'll be waiting outside the eastern gate of Saffron.

And with that, that's everything she wanted to do. She quickly goes back to cook up what snacks she may have needed, and is a little lost at what to do. While she's able to concentrate on what to do still (Something she may not be able to do tomorrow depending on how it goes), she decides to head to the psychic branch to give the book back and see if there's any more as Clay mentioned. As Clay can't read yet, having a book based on dream/nightmare legendaries is probably not a good place to start. So there's no need to keep it now she's gotten all the useful information from it.
