Tiki, in varying states of mouth full and not full, goes through the vivid dream that they all share. "It's in Celadon, and the entire town is burning, people dying, lots of fighting. Faceless things attacking the city. It also also ends the same with almost everything dead, even the queen. But, this time there was this dark figure on the throne, and some evil laugh." She wispers finer details to not bring any unwanted attention to them for speaking of things of people being massacred including the queen.

Rei lists down the jist of the dreams so that she's at least aware of what's going on. After she's done, she closes it and puts it away.
"At the very least I'm aware of the gravity of the situation. From what it sounds like, it 'seems' like it's something prophetic? But none of the attacking force sound like anything that exists in the world yet, or at least that's what we've heard of. So... here's my suggestion. Outside of maybe finding someone more qualified, I think the psychic branch may help you, I wouldn't worry about it for now."
Rei holds her hands up to the probably confused expressions she gets.
"I'm not saying it's not important or that we should do 'nothing', but if last night is any indication, we are not very experienced in the world. We've each only got a few young pokemon, at the cusp of training. We don't have the power to do anything about your dreams, with the aside that telling the queen faceless undying warriors are coming to get her is a good way to get thrown out, and we can't deal with this D'Mara woman...Yet. I'd hope that none of us will let it go, but for us to do something about it at this very instant is a fool's errand."
Rei looks to Tiki, once again having that beaming smile.
"So for the future, since I know we'll be the best of friends Tiki, would you allow me to keep your dream journal?"

Tiki doesn't really understand some of the things Rei says, but she says some reassuring things, and returns a beaming smile. "Oh ok! That sounds pretty cool! I dream about lots of stuff too! I dream about eating, performing, playing, eating! This is gonna be fun!" Tiki hops around in her seat until stopping in thought. "Um....so what should we do today?"

Rei giggles to herself as Tiki bounces excitedly.
"I look forward to it, Tiki"
Rei turns to face the whole group.
"Well besides retelling the events of yesterday, I believe I have a branch to try and join. I'm personally thinking Steel."
Shinpuru, who had hopped up into Rei's lap, chitters in agreement. If Clay's listening in, he'll hear Shinpuru mention he agrees because wood no longer tests his teeth, and wishes for something more challenging.

Clay can't help grinning at Shinpuru's remark. "Now that is a Pokémon who knows what life's about." Always looking for the next challenge, right? We'll have to see who can take a Steel Pokémon down first. The Blazing Tree troop doesn't go down easy!
Of course, the rest of the table will just hear Clay shift rapidly from normal talking to rodent chattering to a brief length of monkey noises right at the end. As if he hasn't just done something utterly bizarre by normal people standards, he looks back up at the others. "I've got a lot of training to do. Gotta be up to the challenge in two weeks. But somebody's gotta know about scary lady, definitely... and figure out what to do with those notes." He's skirting the fact that he doesn't actually know what they say other than recognizing the number 3000.

Sano shakes off the Clay's odd behavior fairly quickly, as he's spent a good amount of time with him now. "Agreed. I need to check in with my Guild, and then we should meet back at the fountain to figure out who to talk to about these notes."

Tiki finishes her meal, and pets Star, who after finishing lays on her lap. "Miss Genevieve is the guild leader, and my branch leader. I was thinking of going to tell her all about yesterday. After that I could really use some shopping, and what not"

Rei takes in Clays odd noises but she's not forgotten what he said yesterday. But there was more pressing matters to attend to at the moment. Not to mention she'd probably ask her new friend in private. She looks to Sano and Tiki.
"Tiki would you like me to accompany you, or would you all rather wait for us to meet up so we may tell her as a group?"

Tiki ponders for a moment, then looks up to Rei. "Uhhh...You probably remember more things than I do. You also have those neat drawings right? So, if you wanna come along that would be cool!" She smiles, stands up, and recalls her pokemon into their balls, except for Star who hops up onto her shoulder.

Clay shrugs. "I dunno if I could get Lady Ashandra to listen to me enough to explain this crap. She looked like she didn't want to be disturbed and if I tried her Pokémon would smack me. That thing is huge." Granted, all of his new friends equal or surpass its height, but they're not solid walls of muscle that are also on fire.
He's trying to feed his Pokémon in between all this, and rapidly discovering that Flower doesn't appear to actually eat. Apparently her mouth is just for show. "Hey, Rei, is it just you who knows about these spirit things, or am I just out of the loop?"

Rei looks to Flower.
"I'm surprised your branch leader didn't say anything or react when you brought your spirit out. Strange... But do you think sometime later, you'd allow me to observe it for a while? I won't do anything to it, but seeing one that isn't attacking you is far more valuable. You can let me know later."
Rei smiles at the boy before looking to Tiki.
"Alright, lets go find your Miss Genevieve, Tiki."

After finishing their meal, the pair head over to the Normal Branch, seeking out Genevieve's office. They find her in her office, dealing with paperwork. Apparently managing a Guild Branch is a lot more work than one might have thought. She looks up as the two girls knock on her door.
"Oh, hello... 'Tiki'... was it? Is there something I can help you and your friend with?"

"Nah, she was too busy talking about how Flower didn't look like much." There's that sour expression again. "It is kinda weird she didn't say anything, if nobody's seen one of these before."
He scratches his head before shrugging his confusion off. "Sure, you can watch her sometime. I need to go get training today anyway. See you later!" Clay lingers over his food for a few more moments before rounding up his Pokémon and heading out.

"Hi Miss G!" She skips on over to her desk. "This is my friend, Rei, she wanted to join the guild too! But, uhh...More importantly, I wanted to report on a mission we took to the Lavender Swamp. It all started when our friend Divini took a mission from the Psychic branch to investigate a disturbance in the swamp. So we went, and as we went in deeper, Divini suddenly disappeared. Like, I turned around and she just vanished without a sound. We kept going in deeper, and upon finding a cave, we found this girl. She had this sword with an eyeball, and blue sash wrapped around the wrist. She also had some other strange pokemon too...somethinging like...'spirits' or..? Any ways we captured her to bring her back here, but we got ambushed by this really scary lady! She took away the girl, and gave us these!" She hands over the note. "It was really scary...What do we do Miss G? That lady seemed really dangerous, and the girl and Divini are still missing..."

Sano bids the group farewell and heads off to the Poison Guild to look for Nalkeya. He isn't totally sure how to cash in a mission, but seeking out the leader seems like a good start.

It takes Genevieve a minute to process Tiki's semi-coherent-overexcited babble. Once she does, she seems a tad concerned.
"So.. if I'm understanding you correctly... you and your friends all went to Lavender Swamp on a mission that a Miss 'Divini' had picked up from the Psychic Branch. While there, your friend 'Divini' just vanished into thin air? That's rather disconcerting to begin with, but you say that you found a cave in the Swamp that housed a human girl... with a sword that has a blue sash and an eye? A sword-shaped Pokemon, huh? Interesting...a very rare find indeed. I'm not sure what you mean by 'spirits' though. Did I miss anything?"
Genevieve thinks for a minute, then looks down at the note you gave her. Her eyes go wide when she reads the signature at the bottom, and the amount to be awarded.
"Miss Tiki, Miss Rei.. you and your friends are very lucky people. The swamp is quite dangerous in the first place, even in a group. I wish you had told me you were going on this mission. I would have sent an experienced Guild Member to escort you. You could have been killed!" She sighs, pinching the bridge of her nose, then holds up the note.
"This, on the other hand, is quite... interesting..." (Both Rei and Tiki notice Genevieve's hesitation before selecting the word 'interesting'.)
"What this means is that you met the newest Branch Leader of the Adventurer's Guild: D'Mara Dracor. Also known to those in 'the know' as 'The Queen's Enforcer'. If she's involved in... anything.. it would be best if you stayed far away from it. I don't trust her. That being said, I am authorized to grant you the reward money this note entitles you to, if you would like it. It will take some time to gather the necessary funds, but it can be done, I assure you."

"Yes, though her Branch is quite small, and very secretive, so it isn't exactly common knowledge. She is the foremost scholar of extremely rare Types of Pokemon, though her specialty (and personal favorite, from what I've seen) is a Type that researchers have dubbed 'Dark'. Not exactly the most extravagant name, but, like the rest, it suits the Pokemon in question. Most Pokemon of these types are extraordinarily rare, and extremely powerful (often quite vicious in the Wild, if what I've read is correct). As to your question about safety..while I understand your concerns, as of this moment she has yet to actually harm any Guild Members or innocents. If she attacked this sword-wielding girl, then it is likely she felt it necessary to do so. Concerning the missing people... for your friend Divini, I cannot say. It's quite possible she was snatched up by some malevolent creature in the swamps; or even merely grew disinterested in the quest and teleported back to the Guild. I could ask Lady Anya (Psychic Branch Leader) if she has seen or heard from her."She considers her next words quite carefully before continuing. "Lady D'Mara is... an enigma... as I mentioned, she and those who work under her within the Guild generally keep to themselves. I cannot say what they are doing, but I can assure you that none of it is intended to cause lasting harm to anyone. If it were otherwise, the other Branch Leaders and I would put a stop to it the very first moment that it was possible. Now then.. have you any more questions, or thought about whether you would like to 'cash in' this reward Lady D'Mara has given to you? I understand you are concerned for your friend, but there is nothing more I can do that what I have already stated." |

As Genevieve gets caught up on the 'spirits' bit, Rei interrupts to clarify.
"Spirits, or more commonly known as ghosts. I fully believe that this girl we met had managed to 'catch' two of them..."
Rei stops for a moment, about to let it slip that Clay apparently had managed to capture one as well, but figures it's probably for the best if her own hand watched that one. Afterall, she's seen both extremes herself of what can go wrong, and can walk the middle line.
"Although I hesitate to use the word 'caught' for that blade."
Rei brings out her journal and flips to the sketches involving the girl, the blade, and the stump.
"This spirit in question was inhabiting the dead stump of a tree, strangely, and was clearly caught in an apricorn ball. The blade on the other hand, did not have one. It almost seemed to have control over the girl, or there was some sort of connection between the two... I'm not sure. We did managed to knock the sword out of the fight but the girl's demeanor didn't change, so I'm really not sure how those two work."
Rei listens to the rest of the Normal Leader's information (and chastising). Rei bows in apology to Miss Genevieve.
"I'm sorry miss. I believe Tiki, Sano, and Clay believed this Divini had took up a mission from the board that their group could handle. And I had followed in myself following the same rumors of 'ghost lights' Divini had found. I'd explain in fuller detail but from me able to talk about spirits so well is due to my upbringing. I am a spirit hunter. Although yesterday was the very first time I had ever come across one. I hold nothing back about my past and if a full explaination is needed, I will be happy to divulge."
Rei gets back up, and smiles again.
"In the future we will be sure to contact a branch leader if we are traveling that far, I assure you. But I believe outside of unpleasantness, we did handle the situation quite well."
Rei looks to the note in her hand, and she loses her smile for a moment while processing.
"If what you say is true that D'Mara is a branch leader here and working directly for the queen, then I suppose we four can't say anything more about this. And as for this note, do not feel the need to pay me for this."
Rei pockets it.
"I already did not feel we 'deserved' it to begin with. And if it's required for the guild itself to pool resources to pay it off, then I will not claim it. I will earn money the 'right' way. Besides...
Rei looks to Tiki.
"I believe my involvment made me three new friends, and that's payment enough. Isn't that right, Tiki?"

Tiki opens her mouth to say something, but closes it, and lowers her head at Genevieve's words. "Ah....Oh...Alright...."
She is disheartened for a bit, but Rei's kind words perk her back up a bit, and she smiles back. "Right! Same for me Miss Genevieve. Consider it a donation to the guild! I guess I'll be off to town then." Feeling more lively now, she slaps her cheeks, and bolts out of the office. "Bye Miss Genevieve! Bye Rei! Good luck getting into your branch." Tiki with renewed fire, she exits the guild, and into town.
