Celina picks up the KO'd Pokemon and moves him to safety, before she takes a dip in the water, picking up Amingo and hugging him. "You did great out there Amingo! I'm so proud!", Celina says before holding her other Pokeball to her heart, "You too Buddy, you gave it your all and that's all I could ever ask of you." Celina will then relax in the water with Amingo for a bit, being careful not to disturb the Numel and Camerupts. After a while, Celina retreats to the cool shade of a nearby tree, not wanting to spend too much time in the sun.

Gennidran arrives back from training to the oasis, Timburr back in the ball but Dwebble still out beside him, looking fairly ragged and tired. Gennidran himself seems to have barely broken a sweat.
As he approaches, he spots Geier doing his thing against the Maractus and slowly draws his club out and walks closer, "Do you need assistance, friend?"

"I would like see how Harvest handles itself alone, Master Gennidran," Geier murmured off-handedly, "but I would not turn away your no doubt admirable strength if the tree proves worthless." He waited, watching the cactus to see how it would react to the ambush.

Since Martel had no particular interest in the wildlife that remained surrounding the oasis, she thought she would be content to rest until the others had finished their preparations and were ready to move on...
When Celina went to rest after her spar, though, Martel was reminded of their near-fight with the Cacnea... Through her "Channeling", she had been able to stop their fight quite handily, but was that the extent of Celina's capabilities? She wasn't certain, but maybe she had persuaded the Geodude to a match the same way? What if the same power could be applied outside of combat entirely? Say... having the local Pokemon help gather food, or even getting wandering Pokemon to guide them along...?
Moving over to their Empath, Martel asks, "'Scuse me, Celina, but I had a question. About your, 'Channeling', was it? Well, you know how you made friends with that Cacnea, and even stopped the others from fighting, too? Is that all it does?", stopping her spiel suddenly to add, "Err, didn't mean it like that. What I meant was, do you think maybe you could, say... ask those Camerupt where the next oasis on the way to Shadrum is, or something like that?"

Gennidran takes a seat not too far off from Geier, just in case of an emergency. "I respect your drive to challenge and fight. Very well, I will watch you." Gennidran would appreciate a chance to see some of Geier and his new Pokemon's skills as well, and this was a great opportunity.

The Camerupt were sitting down as the more playful younger Numel toddled about. They looked excited to be seeing people and even nuzzled some of the group.
As for the Maractus it seemed to be using the move Growth again in response.

Celina would have played with any Numel that came close to her while she rested in the shade. "Oh, hey Martel. Yes, and I don't mind explaining a bit more. To start, while I did make friends with the Cacnea that I channeled, I didn't do anything to others. When I channel I am able to tell a Pokemon's true emotions and intentions and visa verse. So when I told him that we had food to spare, he told the others that we had extra food and to stop fighting. As for asking those Camerupt a question, that would be easy. Much easier than say calming down a hostile Pokemon. If you'd like to observe, maybe you could learn a bit more about it?", Celina says, as she stands up and calmly walks towards the Camerupt. A moment later she closed her eyes as a light aura surrounded her, extending from her to one of the Camerupts as she Channeled. "Excuse me, my name is Celina, and me and my friends are traveling on a very important journey to Shadrum, and I was wondering if you could give us some help? We were wondering if perhaps you could tell us where the nearest oasis from here is on the way to Shadrum, or perhaps even guide us there? We'd very much appreciate the help., Celina communicated to the Camerupt, hoping they could help. Rolling Intuition for Mystic Senses to possibly raise from Neutral to Helpful.

The Camerupt actually seem happy to help and from what Celina can tell they and their family will give the party a ride too.

Impressed by Harvest's ability to summon the wind itself, Geier commanded it to strike again, this time trying to keep a close eye on how well it actually effected the Maractus. Geier will use Brutal Training.

As the Maractus tried to leech away Harvest's energy, the Tropius proved surprisingly nimble, levitating briefly with a backsweep of its palm-like wings and dancing backwards on one broad foot. At Geier's command, it then reversed the direction of its flapping and assaulted the cactus with another gust of wind. Geier keeps things Brutal.

"Thank you very much, I'll tell the others and we'll get ready to move in a little bit.", She says bowing to the Pokemon before going back and sitting under the shade of the tree where Martel was.
"Great news, not only are they willing to be a guide, they'll let us ride on them too!", Celina says while looking around before frowning a little. "But there's just one problem...", Celina says looking down.

Gennidran watches the giant tree creature dodge and attack with grace and precision- or at least what he mistakes for grace and precision. "Impressive beast you've found yourself with" he shouts over the sounds of battle to Geier, taking a small drink from his water sac.
Seeing as Geier is really in no immediate danger and that they will probably begin travelling again soon, Gennidran finally recalls his Dwebble back to its ball as well.

A'Lincoln watched the battle from nearby. After running away from the encounter with the marcactus, from a nearby rock. He could already tell Geier would probably win with his much higher damage capabilities. A'Lincoln knew, even if it was rather unfortunate he couldn't deal a lot of damage, and eneither could Aewlynth.
He approached and nodded in agreement, "It was an excellent battle. I have no shame in saying I couldn't have beaten it like you did Geier."

The Maractus appeared to be in bad shape after that hit and was making an attempt to flee.

Gennidran sees the Maractus fleeing and charges in on his own, club in hand. "No opponent shall be left to escape!" after all, they couldn't risk any pokemon potentially warning the gods about them, as unlikely as that may be. As the beast continues to run, Gennidran lets out a mighty roar (Regal Challenge - Effect "Target - Pokémon or Trainer within 5 Meters Make an AC4 Status Attack against the target. If the attack hits, lower the target’s Speed by 1 Combat Stage and the target is Slowed. If the attack misses, raise the user’s Attack and Special Attack by +1 Combat Stage each.") AU3WtDt61d20 1d20

With the cactus fleeing, Geier frowned and motioned sharply for Harvest not to pursue. "This pitiful beast has struggled long enough. Time to end its misery." Taking aim for the head, he let loose a bolt from his crossbow.
