"Sounds like a plan. Thank you for today," Tamira said, then walked away. She ascended the staircase and went up to street level. Once she reached the top level, she pulled out her PDA and started following her map back to the center. On the way back she started wondering what her cabin mates were doing. She hadn't seen Sarah in hours, and she had expected to see Charlie at some point while she was battling, but he was surprisingly absent. Sure that she could catch up with both of them at the center. And with that, she headed out.

Well that sucks. I really wanted to bang that out. she looked around a bit, to see if she could see any signs of the leader returning, but quickly realized it to be a fruitless venture and gave up. I guess since I'm up, I might as well go and try to catch some more Pokemon. she started heading towards the park in which she had found her Cottonee, hoping to find another grass Pokemon.

When Tamira went back to the wild area of the park, she took a different turn and ended up near the pond, when she got close to it she could see a large lilypad moving quickly through the water, heading toward the shore as it popped up onto the shore letting Tamira blue creature underneath it.

Perfect, one of the Pokemon I wanted. I need to get this if I ever want a chance of beating a fire Pokemon. She threw out Treecko and said, "Hey Treecko, help me out in capturing that Lotad."

Tamira, seeing that the Pokemon was glancing towards the water, decided she needed to do something to keep it from running away, and decided to anger it to do so. "Hey Lotad, you have managed to take the cake on the worst lily pad in town." Meanwhile Treecko went in for a mega drain attack.

Lotad seemed to be bolstered by Tamira and Treecko's display, both of there attacks messing the lilypad pokemon as she attempted to headbutt Treecko to scare it, but missed completely. Astonish AC 2:1 DB 4:16 |

Treecko dodged the attack and went in for another mega drain, this time being successful. In the meantime, Tamira tried to think of another way to keep Lotad from running away, and then thought of a crazy plan. She put her hands to her mouth and blew a kiss the Lotad's way, hoping to at least temporarily confuse it.

Tamira's sudden display of affection confused the lilypad pokemon, and it was hit by Treecko's draining attack Treecko gaining some energy from it. Treecko gains 8 HP Lotad attempted to attack Treecko but slipped hurting itself, getting an injury on it's face. Confusion Check:5

"Hit it one more time Treecko, I'm going to try and catch it." As Treecko once again used mega drain on the Pokemon, Tamira pulled out a Pokeball and threw it at the Pokemon.

"Well shit. That went poorly." Tamira turned to Treecko. "Don't worry it's not your fault," she assured him. "That Lotad was just weak. We are going to go out there and find some stronger Pokemon, okay?" Treecko nodded his head yes and let out a little humph. Tamira turned to try and find more Pokemon in the area, with Treecko following her.

After searching for a bit longer Tamira came upon a shroomish sitting under a tree a bunch of pokemon in various status coniditions, laying around it.

Tamira realized that the Shroomish was probably very good at using its status effects move, so she needed to make sure it didn't think clearly throughout the course of this fight, and she had the perfect plan for that. "Hey, Shroomish, has anyone ever told you that you look like a piece of ravioli?" While she was doing that, Treecko went in for a quick strike on the Pokemon.

Shroomish seemed to get quite steamed by Tamira's ravioli remark, looking like it would keep attacking from now on. When Treecko hit the mushroom pokemon however it a cloud of powder was shaken off it latching on to the Green Lizard, who started to seize up. Shroomish is Engraged
Treecko activated Shroomishes Effect Spore.
Treecko is Paralyzed Shroomish looked at Treecko, almost looking like it was growling before trying to sap it's energy. Shroomish' Absorb AC 2:15 DB 4:20 Special Grass Damage |

Damn it, I forgot that Shroomish can do that. I don't want to take anymore chances using physical moves on it, incase it will continue to cause problems. I need to switch Pokemon. "Treecko, return!" Tamira exclaimed, recalling the Pokemon back into it's ball. "And let's do this Cottonee," Tamira said, releasing her Fairy Grass ally.
