As Cottonee dodge the attack, Tamira got a ball out and got it ready to throw. "Cottonee, use growth and try to distract it for a second. I am going to try to capture it." Tamira threw a ball towards the Pokemon, while Cottonee gathered some energy.
"Good job Cottonee, you did great out there," Tamira praised as she returned the fairy to its Pokeball. She then took out her PDA and looked at the time. It was getting late as she expected. She needed to get back to the Poke Center to meet up with Sarah and Raven, and also potentially use her heal tickets on Treecko and Shroomish. As she was walking back, she started deliberating in her head what would be more cost and time efficient. She would certainly need to use a full heal on Treecko, that was a given with his paralyzation, but he didn't need much healing after that so she could wait it out. And for Shroomish, she could probably just wait a day and it would be fine. On the other hand the vouchers were with about 700, but they would instantly fix all the problems. As she decided to use the vouchers, she had already reached town, and was now in front of the Poke Center.
As Tamira walked into the Pokemon center she heard a beep, a machine next to the door dispensing a Heal Ticket 'Welcome to Groostasie' said a little screen on the machine. "Hello, Can I help you?" a Nurse Joy asked behind the counter.
"Hi could you heal up my Pokemon," Tamira said, gathering the balls out of her bag and placing it on the table. She then proceeded to pull out the heal ticket she just received and handed it to the Nurse Joy.
"Alright just give me a moment" she said smiling as she took the pokeballs and the ticket putting them in the machine, as it started running for a few moments, before stopping with a ding as Nurse Joy handed the balls back to Tamira.
"Well I know there's a place near the train crossings a lot of trainers hang out at, and pokemon usually stay away from the entrance to town, So at the start of the routes should work too" she said looking at Tamira.
"Ok thanks." Tamira decided she was going to head to the trainers at the train crossings, because even though she wanted to train her Pokemon, some real experience would be much better in the long run.
As Tamira reached the crossing area, she could see that the 2 battle fields already had people battling one them, but nearby she saw some people training their pokemon, waiting for the fields to lighten up.
Huh, that was unexpected, she thought, looking at her Pokemon. I wonder when that happened. "Well, I guess you're a Grovyle now. Good job. Let's keep up the good work with some training." And with that Tamira got to work training all of her Pokemon's accuracy, as well as trying to make them a bit stronger.
Tamira found a well dressed young man, standing with very good posture as he turned to look at her "It appears as though anyone can take part as long as they talk to one of the children acting as referees" he said taking a good look at Tamira.
"I suppose I would be alright with facing you even if you have the same fashion sense as that Violet character, really when I came here I didn't expect the leauge to be in that shabby of condition." he said grimacing
"So which do you want to challenge the Passenger Line or the Freight Line?" he asked.
"I'll take that as a compliment thank you," she replied, not liking his tone all that much. "And I'm not 100% sure what each one would entail as I haven't been paying attention too much, so I'm going to say freight line, just cause."

Hi there! I'm Seya, a 24 y.o. editor in Atlantic Canada. I enjoy writing, reading, webcomics, art, worldbuilding, and video games (I can talk for ages about SotC and Monster Hunter...). Although I'm relatively new to playing Pokémon Tabletop via forum, I've been putting together sites like this for a long time, and I'm really excited to work with you all to create an awesome environment for Pokémon roleplay. While my job here is primarily to keep the site running smoothly, I'm always happy to chat, offer advice, and deal with any problems you run across. Let me know if I can be of any help. Inbox is always open! Cheers! xx :)
Hello! I'm Sly, the East Coast mod representative! I'm a 22 year old tax accountant who is exactly as exciting as that sounds, I'm sure. PTU is my major hobby, I run several games (of which the Geode games are my pet project), and I read a disgusting amount of fanfiction. I've been a member of the community for about a year, consider myself more GM material than player material, and am dedicated to helping make your time here enjoyable! If there's ever anything you need, don't be afraid to send me an owl! (Or a PM, I guess, if that works better for you.)
Hey there! I’m DataNinja, the West Coast representative. I'm the most active Staff member on here, so if you need something, try giving me a poke first, and I'll see if I can help sort out your problem. Always happy to help!
(1 May 2015): "For our first pack, we’re focusing on utility character options. Hopefully, this will give you both interesting insights into our dev process as we make changes over time and another focused avenue to give us feedback on what you’d like to see out of PTU."
People are out there, yes, but if you're looking for a game, sorry to say that things seem to be winding down overall. There's basically been... 3 games in the last 2 years, none of which got off the ground.

It's very slow, yes. You'll probably finish working on your game before one pops up here, and if you create a recruitment for it you can expect to be swarmed with applicants.

New games seem to open up slowly here, but if new people are still welcome, I don't mind waiting around (or working on my own). It looks like there's some useful stuff to browse in the meantime.

Keep an eye on the recruitment area of this website. They're rare nowadays, but any new games that crop up will show up there. If it's a live game you want though, you're outta luck.

but how else do i find games then?

Sounds to me like they weren't a group you'd want to be part of anyway.

Basically, GMs post recruitments in the appropriate section, and then players apply to the open games. Unfortunately, there has been a rather... small amount of games posted lately, but there's one currently recruiting right now.
