A stroll through town can prove more than profitable depending on your actions. For: Olivier, Farina Quests: Too many swords - I've made one too many swords as of late, if you're willing I'll give you one of my better leftovers in exchange for some more raw materials. I'll take any mining* materials, 3 to 5 pieces sounds good. Medicine Maker - Hi, I would like your guild to help me procure a few herbs for use in medicines. I require 3 aloe and 1 small flower. BRING ME COOKIES - BRING ME COOKIES! ... please? "Come come," Farina calls to Olivier. "We've a town to explore and a quest to turn in perhaps?"

"Oh ABSOLUTELY!~" Olivier cries excitedly. He brings his hands together and does a small hop before charging after Farina.
"First! We'll want to stop and do that sword quest thing! We have the materials for that, so yeah!" He says, making off towards wherever he thought the sword shop would be. Hands down ,that was his first. He perked up excitedly on the second note. "Ooh! Then we'll see if we can find a baker and get some cookies! I think, that should be the very last thing, that way they're all nice and warm when we take them back!"
All at once he stops, as if pondering a great mystery. After a short moment he hops up and down on the balls of his feet, shaking with excitement."Wait. If that's the first and last things we do, I'm not sure what else we should look into. I'm sure there must be something though~! OOH! Perhaps we could see some of the sights or ask about other guilds or seek out any extra quests or... Oh I don't know! This whole town is all very new to me!"
"What do you thing Ms. Farina?" He asks, wheeling upon her with excited eyes. "I don't really know all that much about the town. Is there anything really exciting that we might be able to check out?!"

"Of course, let me just bring out the map." Farina goes to a nearby box and begins to pull out some items. In an almost comical fashion she begins to pull out rather odd trinkets here and there occasionally saying "Nope" "Not it" "When did we get this?" She tilts her head slightly before settling on a scrap of paper. "Well, looks like we'll need to make our own map of town then! I can get us started at least," she says as she goes to grab a nearby box of colored pencils and begins to draw away.

"Ooh! Alright!" Olivier said, peering over her shoulder(Or at least trying to) as she worked. Suddenly, he pointed towards the northwest, tittering quietly. "Aha! I think I remember that part of town... That's where a couple of nice gentlemen showed me where the back alley was!"
"Ooh! I'll never forget their smiling faces when I gave them my coin purse!" Said a grinning Olivier as fond memories of their toothless grins and their unfortunately smelly breath entered back into his remembrance. Such nice people. Such good people who were looking after his well-being!
"I didn't want to cause trouble for them. They said that would be bad. And what is bad for them, is bad for me, yesiree!" He added with a nod. Myes. That would have been very bad indeed!

Farina stares blankly wondering to herself what kind of overly gullible guild member she has accepted into her guild. Oh well, I've been partnered with worse I guess.
"Come, we'll find various food stands right outside of the guild sector, but we'll probably ignore them for now. Let's head straight to finishing our quests so we can wander around freely after." Farina grabs her bag from her office; it appears similar to the bags the group has, but has many patterns and looks much more sturdy.
Farina walks out of the guild hall and begins to head south into the markets.

Olivier follows with light, pretty-pattern step, doing a slight jig as he followed. His smile carried once more his usual innocence brightness as he cried, "Ooh! Hurrah! It's good to explore!"
But then his need to explore was distracted by the need to look at the fantastically large buildings that dominated the guild square. Ah! They were still so beautiful, large spires and dizzying heights... It was wonderful!
"You know, I think I tried out at every guild before I was accepted to this one." Olivier chirped suddenly. "I'm not sure why they didn't accept me but, OOH! The market!"
He clapped his hands quickly, pointing his finger accusingly at the food vendors for their beloved existence. "Aha! They are quite nice to have around I imagine. On days where you wouldn't want to go far for food, I bet that they make for a pretty good stop!"

"Well, yes I suppose there are a few food stalls here... but most of these are exploration supplies. I'm quite certain there's a bakery in the southern part of town." She hesitates for a moment before deciding, "Actually, here I drew a few more things on the map... You should decide where we should head first. It'll be good experience. Just don't forget about the quests." Farina hands over the map, a few spots are still unlabeled, but the town map at least has most of the routes and important buildings already drawn in.

"Ooh! We'll visit that bakery later then!" Olivier chirps, taking up the map and absorbing it's knowledge of the town. "Wow... You make maps so fast too... I don't know if I could remember this many places off the top of my head!"
He smiled, chittering happily as he handed it back. "But, I think I've got it nailed down now! You can take that copy to Miss Sariah, that way, she make copies for everyone!"
Bobbing up and down, he pointed down the road. "We'll visit the Smith first! It's right in the center of town, which will make it really, really easy complete that quest we've been given! Then after that, maybe I can pick up a Pokéball toolbox somewhere! That way, if any of the others need cheaper Pokéballs, I can make a few of them for us!"

"Oh yes, of course, that's quite a good idea. There seems to be a shortage of better pokeballs in the shops. I hear that you can make decent money from selling pokeballs though. It's just hard to find merchants that will buy from new guilds. If you're interested I'll put out a few feelers." She pulls out a notepad and jots down a few things before following you down the road.
"Oh hey, have a look!" Farina points out the large building that the two of you are passing. "The adventurer's outlet is almost done. I've heard it's going to be a giant cluster of different shops, resources, and other things all related to adventuring. I think Sariah said they'll even have a nice tea shop there."
"Now if I drew this part of the map right... the smiths is there." She points to a small shop with a noticeably worn sign even from your current distance. As you approach the shop, it's open windows provide a peek at the forge inside. "It definitely lacks a modern look, but it quite suits this smith since he does everything by hand. Well, anyways, go for it. I'll trail behind you."

"Hrmm... Well, if we ever decide to go down that route, leave the selling to me!" Chirped Olivier. He danced a tiny jig in the middle of the street, thrusting one foot back as he did a pirouette. "Ooh! I have some delightful ideas too! Yes! While most of what I make should be used for the guild, I bet I can make some Pokéballs that everyone will want! Yes!"
Then, upon arrival to the smith, he nodded and twittered softly. "It looks like a fine establishment. I think that the rustic look they are going for with the sign is quite pretty in it's own way! It's like my dad always said, 'Son, stores with old signs mean that the store has been around for a while. And a store that hasn't closed down means quality!'"
Olivier paused, thinking for a moment. "Well. Maybe he didn't say that. I might have just thought up that now. But it's still true I think!"
And lo, with that said, Olivier took the handle of the door and thrust himself inside of the smith as he braved the heat.

As you enter the smith's workshop, a quite young looking therian boy in an apron greets you, "Hello, welcome to The Seven Gifts. How can I help you?" He ceases his sweeping duties to and begins to walk towards you. Around the shop you see a variety of different weapons. Some are out in the open, while others are fixed to the walls with clamps. The boy himself looks like most other therians though his blue hair does stand out somewhat.

"Aha! What lovely blue hair you have!" Olivier quickly exclaims, losing track of all train of thought as he clasps his hands together with a happy smile. "You know, some legends state that blue-hair is a symbol of royalty and great destiny! Your future could hold many wonderful things for you!~"

"Um, thank you I guess? But really, is there something I can help you with... otherwise I have to clean this place up as fast as possible or-"
"Bridge. The costumers have no need to know of your cleaning duties. If you wish to succeed this place, learn to place your own troubles aside." A louder and stern voice address the young boy from a doorway leading to a backroom. "I am Tyrant, inheritor of The Seven Gifts. The boy is my apprentice, you may direct your questions to him for now as I observe his progress." He finishes address you and the guildmaster before turning his gaze back to Bridge.
Farina turns to Olivier, "He's not one for small talk. At least not until we help him out enough."

"Oh! That's fine. I'm sure he'll warm up to us eventually." Olivier whispered back to Farina. The half-lunari gave the boy his most winning smile and approached with the minerals that the Guild had collected.
"There is no reason to worry. I fear I must be the one apologizing; I've been told that I like to gab about a lot! My name is Olivier, and I am a representative of Nuxbar's youngest guild, Guild Odyssey. My companion here is our fair Guildmaster Farina, the finest guildmaster in Nuxbar! We're here to say hello... And turn in a quest!"
Then, finding a place where he could heft up his bag, he placed it onto a table and took out a piece of two pieces Granite and a single slice of slate for the boy's inspection. "We've yet to really start exploring the meatier areas of the world, so they aren't really, really high-quality pieces yet. But I believe they should still qualify for a sword if you have one lying around!"

"Oh, um yes. I have a list...." Bridge stumbles as he goes to the front counter shuffling various papers around until he comes across one listing the various ores and their rarity. "Well boy, you should have the answer by now."
"Oh, um yes! The 3 ores you have brought are rather basic ores but luckily they have tons of uses so I think we can end up working things out."
"Boy, fetch the spare blade I spoke of before." "Right away boss!"
Upon Bridge's departure, Tyrant begins to handle the ores Olivier handed over. "Yes, these three will be enough for one of the spares. As stated in the quest, you may have the sword the boy brought," Tyrant gestures to Bridge who currently returns with a simple looking sword. "Be careful with it. And unless you've got other business here... I suggested you go, this young one has lessons and more work to get back to."

"This sword... It will do nicely! It's simple, but the materials we brought you were equally simple." Olivier noted. He turned his way to the outside door and waved himself off with a smile.
"We'll see if we can't bring you all something more fine for next time. For now, we bid you adieu! May your stars align favorably!"

"Hmm, it looks simple, but you never know. Try wielding it for a moment and you should be able to tell if there's anything interesting about it," Farina explains while heading out of the store. "In the mean time, we should decide where to go next." Should you choose to take her advice: As you take the sword into your hand, you feel connected with the sword and you feel able to draw out a new technique from it.
The sword is a Simple small melee weapon with the move cheap shot.

Olivier prepares to draw the blade from it's scabbard and wield it effortlessly... But then he remembers that the only thing he was trained in was how to hit things with a big stick.
"Nah. Sword stuff really isn't for me anyways. I am much more of a staff guy." He smiled broadly. "It's like my dad always told me! 'Talk loudly and carry a big stick to scare off the bears! The bears are not your friend!'"
He nodded. Yeah. It went something like that. "Hrmm. I'm not sure where we head next... But maybe, do you think we could find a place to buy a toolkit? That might be good to get out of the way!"

"Well, the various shops right outside of the guild halls should have simple things like that. We can go there on our way back later on probably. But if you need it now that's fine with me," Farina muses as she pulls out a notepad and begins to jot down a few notes. "Oh by the way, if you want I'll carry that sword. You have far less space in your bags since you're all new."

"Oh. Alright!" Olivier replied, passing the blade and scabbard to the Guildmaster. "That's probably for the best. Sometimes I forget that we even have bags!
"Anyways, we can go pick up all of that other stuff later along with the cookies. But... I'm not sure if I can afford both.
Then, all at once, brilliance struck again! "Oh! But maybe we can ask kindly strangers like the ones up in the big houses for money! Sometimes if you ask real nicely, people give you things like food! Maybe that applies to toolboxes too!"
