Chiyo glares at Soseki after his comment about her friend, not like she could actually do much about it, but it was clear she wasn't very happy with that reply, she nods and takes off running with the others.

As you boldly flee the scary masks, you slowly feel their presence fade, but it doesn't feel like you're moving. It's more like you're jogging in place on a treadmill that pushes a canvas forward, the world shifting around you four teenagers with attitude from one psychedelic mint-blue dreamscape to the same type of dreamscape with a slightly different pattern. The only other difference is that... Perception Check If 6 or betterAn eerie, but nonetheless familiar gaze bores into you.
If 8 or better, also read aboveThe scents of various cleaning solutions also mix with the unsettling sweet scents from before. |

Kin wasn't quite certain why the others were running. Sure the masks were a little creepy but nothing to run from. But he second guesses himself. Probably best to follow after the dream logic and just run away. Usually bad stuff happened when you didn't run. And sometimes when it you did... He catches up to the others as the masks fade behind them. "Well I guess that wasn't the right way to go." He shifts uncomfortably, once again worrying his hair, as he notices the odd smells. Just as she was about to respond to Kin she felt a gaze, a familiar one, on her. Was the mask thing there again? she looks around frantically trying to spot the source of this feeling. Soseki ran and ran and ran but didn't move, the strange feeling of a lack of movement eventually provoked him to stop.
"Goddammit!!!" He yelled to the sky, "What is this place, i need to wake up, i'm starting to..." he continued on before he finally smelt the weird chemical smell.
Once Kin had spoke up about it, Soseki turned to the boy, "The hell is that, some kinda cleaning stuff? Soseki started looking around but he really didn't know what he was looking for and it was evident by the scowl on his face that this was just adding to his irritation.

Kin just shrugs halfheartedly. He wasn't quite sure what to think on either front. He was hardly convinced this wasn't still a dream, strange occurrences aside. "I have no idea. Maybe the smell means we're getting closer to whatever is watching us..." He scuffs the sand for a bit. "Hard to tell distance in here..."
