I've gone through like three strategy/life changes since coming to Kanto and it seems like it works for a little and then it just goes down the toilet. I just can't get a freaking win! Just in this week I've lost twice and got beat to shit, my friend got nearly devoured by a Victribel and when I tried to help I just got put to sleep, tried to save a pokemon only to find out I may have doomed it anyway, found out the Cerulean gym I work at is shutting down and I really can't do anything to save it, and then I finally get time off I come up here just to flail around and fail again. And I spent all this time getting a damn mega stone for a pokemon that won't listen to me anymore unless I have one more badge to prove myself."
Rei sighs as she just super vented her problems to a relative stranger. She just puts her jacket back on and goes to sulk in the corner as she waits for Kaeda.

Lia grumbles at the comment but can't say much else before she and Skala are blasted as things begin. And she already feels poison coursing through her veins. That's not greeeeeat. Skala floats over and lands full force into the ground with an earthquake! Once the blast is cleared, Lia rushes in and whacks both as well! Skala uses Earthquake vs Atropa and Nidoqueen

Atropa is caught off guard by the massive earthquake, and her Nidoqueen goes crashing down (though not before its toxic spines inflict Poison on Lia again). She sends out Greninja and binds Debilitate to it. It blasts Skala with water while Atropa circles around to bash Lia's face in!

Lia is feeling pretty good about taking one REALLY tough looking pokemon out early. Atropa hits really hard but nothing she's incapable of handling. Skala takes the water, and since he may only have one move left, he decides to make it count. Quickly noting how tough the other human was, Skala offers up the rest of his health to place a ghostly haunting curse on Atropa! Lia then throws out Jako in his place and goes to keep smacking on Atopa! Floyd beat her, and so will she! Skala places a curse on Atropa! (Then faints)
Lia injures herself (Curing poison again) and uses Flail on Atropa!

Lia gets her head slightly caved in and is out of the fight. In her place, Brunhilda pops out and stands off against Atropa while Jako stands off against the Mega Drapion. Jako launches an egg bomb while Brunhilda jabs the very non-poisonous Atropa with purple-dripping claws. (Before Lia falls she binds a swift action Plainly Perfect)
