As Avitus swoops in to try and grab Chesnaught and carry it away, it retreats into its shell, causing the Aerodactyl to be jabbed by the spiky protrusions on it. It eyes Aerodactyl warily, circling around it. Satori throws an Aura Sphere at it.

Chesnaught counters Sky Drop with Spiky Shield!
After Avitus roars, and Chesnaught is forced back into its Poke Ball, Satori changes tactics, sending out her fourth Pokemon. Medicham! Almost immediately she commands it to Mega Evolve, changing its appearance drastically. It awaits Avitus' next move.1d20·3d8+15

Avitus didn't get a chance to 'forget' the Medicham before being taken out. Brunhilda pops out in his place, extends her blades, and swipes at both targets! Brunhilda uses Dual Chop vs both!
