Dragons have been seen as guardians of places in many cultures. The evolved versions of the younger dragons are true guardians while the younger ones are guardians in training.

If I wanted to give up part of my plan for this character, I might be able to type shift swablu into something useful. (Poison/Dragon anyone? or Poison/Fairy if Mega'd) Alas, my plans for this character don't involve any of the type-linked classes. Or any Ace classes for that matter.
My plan is Trickster/Provocateur/Mentor/Ninja (though only Poison Weapons from Ninja. Gotta have those statuses!) I probably won't be too strong early game, this seems like more of a mid-late game build. Once I can start stacking those status effects.

Tossing around the idea of an Apothecary/Survivalist/Tumbler, currently. Sheet is underway, and the extra information is nice.
Regarding the dragon-starter, are any/all of the Pseudo-legendary dragons allowed (Dratini, Bagon, Gible, Deino and Goomy, that is)?

Even the Psuedo-legendary dragons are fine.

Will pokécenters or something similar be a thing in this campaign or should we prepare ourselves to cure ourselves? (Aka should we stack up with plenty of bandages and such?) I basically noticed after purchasing some balls, sleeping bag and restorative items that all the money is gone (But on the other hand, this feels a bit like a scavenger champaign so : ) ) Also would it be allowed to start out with some shards? The Artificer branch is fuelled by those so it is hard to pre-purchase anything otherwise : )

There is an equivalent of a pokecenter. I will permit three days of searches for shards.

Okay that is good to hear : )
I'll make some rolls as soon as I am 100% sure on the mechanical parts of my sheet (so that I don't trade away Crystal Resonance or something!)

Just a question, how do you feel about a 'Molepeople' network? (I.E a group of people who make tunnels to find stuff to scavenge?)

Okay. Here is a rough draft. There may be minor changes to the trainer mechanics and I'm not 100% on Drifloon yet - but other then that I think the crunchy part is done. Now to transfer fluff-thoughts to fluff-text. And make up three names for my pokes Shards: Nikki has an Occult Ed rank of 5 (expert), the Dowsing Skill Stunt +1 and Crystal Resonance feature +3 for a total of 9 dice on dowsing attempts. She can use dowsing 2 times per day (5/2 floored) and she has 3 days worth; 9 * 2 * 3 = 54.
Shards gained on 4+

Edit: Since roller is capped at 20;
20d6
14d6
Edit2: 22 shards of whom 4 were 6es; rolling 4 extra:
4d6
Edit3: 23 shards; type generated with a d6

Okay, got my first draft here, still need to do inventory. On which note, couple more questions (sorry, didn't think of them before I decided on the character): Firstly, how much would a musical instrument cost? And secondly, are we allowed pre-crafted items? Also, any changes to the sheet needed, just let me know.

@pre-crafting - That is actually a good question! I slapped together a few things out of the shards gathered (most notably a Ground-Brace for Mawile as well as a Speed Focus) and used the Upgrader feature to implant some Nanobots in a poke. So obviously if it turns out you can't pre-craft I have some adjustments to make __________________________ Another question; How prevalent are cybernetic prosthetics? I was thinking of having an mechanical hand on my character (both for the cool factor and to reduce the amount of blood splattered in case of future Upgrades!). But if working cybernetics are rare and so it might not be the most logical thing for a cast-out youth to have.

Pre-crafting is fine. Musical instruments would be left overs from the time before so it would be about 500 due to many not seeing the value of an instrument in these times.
Cybernetic prosthetics are fine not an everyday thing that people see but it would be common enough for those that have lost things in scavenging or fought with the topsiders.
'Mole people' sounds interesting.

All right! Cybernetic arm it is (from scavenging incident, not much of a fighter this one).
Random question - what tone do you envision this having? A more lighthearted one or a bit dark and gritty? Somewhere in between?
Just so we can try to adjust towards it : )

This will be a bit dark and war filled but it will have its calmer times. So a bit in between.

Can we have items pre-crafted by other players? For example, if we say our characters already know each other, could I start with a cybernetic implant crafted by Lessah's character, with the cost taken out of my own funds?

Sounds neat. I'll throw Hazel Praline into the mix, a Herald of Pride/Fortress/Athlete(coming soon). She is a character I originally made as a RWBY fan-character, so she's got a transforming weapon for the fun of it (though I'll treat them as two separate weapons in that I'll take an action to switch between modes as normal). I am assuming moveless-weapons are just the 500p for Crude Weapons in the Core book. How do you see the story starting and characters from different shelters meeting up? This will probably affect my backstory slightly.

They will have heard of the community of those thrown out just because of supply vs demand. The community is the safest place and offers a somewhat familiar feel. Most communities drop their ex-members off in the community to try and offer them a higher chance of survival.
