Niyol watch after the burly man with mild annoyance then sighed. "I may never break another window in my life..." with that said Niyol jump through the broken window and grabbed the nearest looking drink that would lessen his tiredness and nurse it.

Alex watched as the man grappled Niyol for breaking the window. Yes, it was her fault the window was broken, and yes, it was her idea to break it to begin with, but she really didn't want to say that. Being wrestled to the ground by that big burly man was not on her to do list today. In fact, the only thing left on her to do list was to go to bed, but she couldn't do that now. Even though she still wasn't happy about the way that this party was conducted, at this point, with everyone there already, including members from other guilds, she wasn't going to show it. Nobody likes a party crasher, and she almost already did just that. This party was held for her and her comrades, and so she had no way of backing out. So, she opened up the door, walked in, grabbed food and drink, and sat down at the nearest open spot in a table.

Once her mouth was uncovered, Ovelia huffed annoyed. She moved over to her thrown dagger and bent down to pick it up, letting a hiss of pain escape her lips as she did. "Hazing. How immature and foolish." She muttered. "Somebody could have been hurt for something so silly." She said glancing at Niyol. "I see you still can't dodge." She noted before moving toward the door. "I'm going to my room. Thank you for the food, but I have things I need to do." She said

Niyol felt the jab thrown his way by Oveila but once he saw her leave the room, Niyol made his excuses and tries to catech Oveila in the hall. "Oveila! Wait a second. Uh, jibs... I just want tah say I'm sorry ye had to save my tailcoat in the mission today." Niyol rubbed the back of head but ultimately looked Oveila in the eye as he apologize.
"That's all I wanted to say. Rest up and sweet dreams."b] With that Niyol hurried back to the party.

Mael looked on silently as Ovelia moved towards the door. Well, if she wants to go, who am I to stop her, he figured and so he turned away, instead grabbing himself a plate of food and a mug of some drink or other. Spying Niyol with a drink of his own, Mael carried his foodstuff over to his comrade and went over to sit opposite him. Hopefully the man wouldn't mind him eating when he wasn't. Mael ate a little quietly, not opening up a conversation. If Niyol wanted to talk, Mael would be open to it, but for now he was content just eating and drinking. Am I making things awkward? he wondered. Mael had to force himself not to shrug. It would look strange if he did that for no apparent reason. Then again, did he really care about appearances? I suppose I don't want to make a bad first impression. I might have to work with some of the people in here in the future. He shrugged. But I don't really care that much. Then he thought, Well if I'm giving random people this much mental consideration, I may as well give that much to my teammate. At least enough not to leave him in an awkward silence.
"So Niyol, where are you from?" There, a simple start to a simple conversation.

Once back inside the party, Niyol refilled his drink and took a seat at an empty table. He only vaguely noticed Mael took sit opposite from his mind focus more so on the swirling liquid in his glass. It wasn't until he wasn't until Mael spoke that he broke out of his reverie. "Hm? Oh, Where I am from? That's hard to say I was born at sea but I'm pretty sure sure I spent my early childhood in Xel before getting kidnapped by pirates."

Thane begins to get some food and drink while passively listening to the others. "Zel? Where is that? What's it like?" he said, carrying a plate of meats and pastries in one hand and a cup of some kind of juice in the other.

When Ovelia heard Niyol of all people calling after her she sighed and turned. She really hoped he wasn't there to insist on the party or try and baby her. When he just apologized to her she felt relieved. She was already cranky from a large mixture of factures and the idea of sitting around a bunch of people when snappy while trying not to worsen her injuries wasn't very appealing.
She was already worried about how she looked around her teammates due to her crankiness, the last thing she wanted was all of the guild to see it.
She shrugged, "I just did what any knight and partner would." She said. "It wasn't a big deal." She said. "Enjoy the party."
And then she continued heading back to her room.

"Xel is the most northern city of Ceruas. I don't remember much about other than that I was a stable boy there. It was ok I guess. Most of my life was spent in the air and I rarely went on land." Niyol respond to Thane questions easily taking a sip of his drink every now and then.

"Xel huh, interesting. I was born and raised in Teplas, for all that's worth. My family is old though and it originally came from Gearhas, or rather, what would become Gearhas, since the village was destroyed before the country was united." Mael isn't sure why he told them that, but he figured a bit of trivia about himself couldn't hurt.
"What about you Thane? Where are you from?"

"Oh, just a small town to the southeast of Galahad, its called Baudwin." Thane said before taking a large bite of some meat and then continuing "My mom runs a berry and flower shop, my sis helps her."

While Alex was eating, she noticed, even though this party was for her and her comrades, no one seemed to be making an approach to either her or them. It seemed like the guild had used them as an excuse to just gather around a couple of friends and catch up with each other, but that was fine. It would allow her to slip away without anyone really caring in the first place. So, when she was finished eating, got up to try and find Sans, as she needed to ask him a couple of questions.
When she walked up to Sans, she said "Thank you for the party and the food, even though it wasn't very clear at the beginning that it was a party." She looked and nodded her head towards where there used to be a window. "But anyways, I have a question about equipment. I was wondering if you had any fire bracers laying around, or if I could receive funds to purchase one?" she asked. She really wanted one of these to be lying around, because if Byron showed up tomorrow and she was wearing one, it would give her a significant advantage to what she normally had.

The Master sans smiled, "Yeah, Sure. go Talk to Gem. She'll get you one. I'll give you guys your reward from the job in the morning."
He pointed down, "I dunno if Gem is in the party. Look for a little girl with a basket of Gems on her back that's her. If she's not here, she's in the basement in the mine."

"Thank you, I'll go and try to find her." Alex was really happy that she could get the item so fast. She looked around the party to find the little girl with gems that Sans was talking about, but she couldn't see her. She must be in the basement then. Ok. Now where is the basement?
After searching around for a bit through the deserted hallways (man is this a big house), she found a door that was marked "Basement/Mines". She opened the door and walked down the stairs. It was hot and stuffy in the basement, and she saw a ladder that led down a hole in the corner that had a sign that said "Mines" with an arrow pointing downwards. This is a really weird setup they have going on here, she thought to herself, but honestly, she should come to expect to be surprised from this house. She descended the ladder and entered the mines.

Mael had finished his food a while ago and was now nursing his drink. Eventually, that was gone too and then he no longer had a reason to stick around. The party had gone on for longer that he'd expected. It was a good thing that he didn't need much sleep in order to function perfectly. Mael wasn't quite sure when he had acquired that talent. He had chalked it up to being just another side effect of having powers over the dark, like having night vision.
"Well, it was fun guys, but I'm going to head to my room now. I'll see you all in the morning." With that, he stood up and walked out of the room.
He walked through the hall until he reached his room. He took off his black robe and and shoes and sat down on his bed. He didn't go to sleep immediately though. First he got out his spell book. During the fight the book had coincidentally opened to a page containing a spell that would allow him to channel a little more power through the book. He could perform it easily, and so he did. It took a few minutes but then he was done.
With that finished, he laid down to sleep. Actual sleep wouldn't come to him so quickly, but just lying down with nothing to worry about was nice too.

After having returned to her room, Ovelia locked the door and undressed. She then started the process of bandaging herself up as best she could. As she worked, she tried to keep any exclamations of pain quiet as she treated herself. Once her injuries were bandaged as best she could, Ovelia climbed into bed and pulled the covers on her, shifting every so often in an attempt to find a position that didn't hurt while trying to sleep to give her body time to heal.
Eventually, she drifted off to sleep.

After mingling and being friendly, exchanging his side of the bandit fight and explaining where he came from nearly a thousand times it felt like, Thane was full and grew tired, so he politely snuck out of the party and went to his room, laying down to sleep on the small bed that was one of the few objects that occupied his near-empty bedchamber.

Climbing down the ladder Alex found her self in a small cave. It was well furnished and well lit, with multiple glowing stones over the walls lighting the room brightly.
There were a couple work tables, with a couple of braces, plates, and boosters lined up nicely. Each one labeled and placed as if on display.
On the other side of the room, there was a not as well lit hallway leading a bit further, there seemed to be a sound of metal hitting stones coming from that direction.

Alex stared at the table, inspecting all of the items on it. The craftsmanship was quite exquisite on all of the items. Then she found what she wanted. A fire bracer, in the form of a bracelet. She heard the clanging in the other room, so she shouted at the top of her lungs "Excuse me!" while picking up the bracelet to have a closer look at the detail put into the item.

As Alex picked up the Red Bracelet she heard a, "Comming~!" from out of the caves.
As she lifted it up to inspected, a giant column of flame blasted out of the wall from where the bracelet had sat. Aimed straight at Alex. Covering her body in a cloud of flame.
There were sounds of running, from down the hall as the flames cleared. As the flames settled around her Alex could see a short girl, who looked rather young, standing only at a short 4"11 came from the hall way. She had large rimmed glasses and a silver helmet with a glowing gem on top. On her back seemed to be purple rock with red gems growing out of it. She looked at Alex with apologetic Eyes.
"I'm Sorry..... I set those up so no one would steal anything......" She was bowing deeply as she said that. Before realizing something as she looked at Alex.
"I'm sorry, I actually don't know you.... Are you trying to steal something?" She asked looking at her a bit confused.
