When Mael was grabbed Ovelia groaned. So much for that hope... She thought annoyed. She made sure to stay away from the door as she called out. "Identify yourself." Ovelia called out. "And release my partner."

The door didn't open, and there was no reaction from the other side of the door.

Ovelia growled annoyed. She was starting to think this was some prank or test, but the risk reward was too much. If she ran off who knew the danger Mael could be in. If she didn't she ran risk of being captured as well and being useless. If it was some test, what was the right answer? Abandon an ally for the greater tactical benefit? Or out allies first?
Not to mention test or not she didn't like tge idea of ditching an ally with no information and just saying he was grabbed. It seemed cowardly. "Well...if I'm not back they are getting help anyways so..." She muttered to herself. She touched the metalnon her belt and charged it with the last bit of her energy she could. If they grabbed her and disarmed her she wanted another back up option.
Then she took a step toward the door so she was barely in range and could hopefully dodge any attempt to grab her. She was skilled at combat. With any luck she could turn the attempt to grab her against her enemy and grab them instead.
She braced herself, ready to grab any arm that tried to grab her and kicked the door. "Open up or I'm sending the door in after you." She threatened as she debated how hard to kick the door to dislodge it if they didn't.

There was no reaction from the door. No voice responded, and the door didn't budge.

Annoyed, Ovelia kicked the door as hard as she could channeling electricity through her feet to try and kick it down. If it was a test or prank that's what they got. If serious threat, well, licking a door down would be fine.
A sharp crack of thunder accompined the kick as it hit the door.

Thane cautiously enters the front door upon hearing the thundercrack and begins moving towards the back room.

As Thane charged in, he saw Ovelia get grabbed by what looked like long yellow thick strands of hair. Then get pulled into the door followed by a flash of electricity. As the door quickly slammed shut.
Outside Alex looked to where Shelldon should've been standing, but there was nothing there.

Thane pulls his sword from his back and moves to the door, and then tries to yank it open while keeping his blade on guard for whatever is on the other side.

Alex is legitimately alarmed now. She starts looking every which way, trying to see if there was any sign of Shelldon, but she was having no luck. This was not good. Her party members were disappearing one by one. She yells out to Thane, "Thane! Shelldon disappeared! Did you see where he went?"

The door was still shut, and didn't give as he attempted to open the door. It appeared to be locked.

Thane backs up a few steps then crashes into the door shoulder-first. Looking around the room to see what it was that took Ovelia.

As Thane attempted to enter the room, the door flung Open once more, and two tentecles with mouths on the end came at him, and coiled around his arms. Pulling him in, and the door slammed behind him.

"So there goes our 3rd party member," Alex said, disappointed in how her teammates thought the best method was go up to the door one at a time and get picked off. She really didn't want to deal with this right now. "So what do we do now?" She asks Niyol. "Clearly, if we just walk up to the front door, we will just suffer the same fate as our party members, so please don't suggest it."

Niyol has been hovering this whole time for the most part trusting his teammate until he heard the commotion. It was then that he thought maybe now was a good time to do something and so floated over to his last remaining teammate and was immediately shut down. "I see... Well, do yer want to try going behind the building?"

"I have an idea. We break the window right there, see it," pointing to the window that was right by the backroom. "Then, after that, after the glass has settled, we can try to see inside the room with this," and she turns on the flashlight that she had on her. She didn't feel very confident in this plan, and if the hostiles piled out of the door or the window, they would have problems, but still she deemed it better than taking the fight to the enemy one on one.

"Alright lets do this," she says, and goes outside to find a nice, sharp, throwable rock to hit that window with. Then, from a safe distance, Alex chucks the rock at the window.
