"Oh no big plans for tonight. In either way!" Jane winks and sticks out her tongue. Though to be fair Lia seemed pretty fun to be around, most of the time. But she didn't quite feel like her type! "Also - I'm not terribly keen on wandering alone since the last time I did that I was Hoopa-napped ..."

With a more somber, less energic, tone she shared her feelings. "But yeah some happy place between total stranger and lover is nice. Just hanging out a bit and chatting. You know, normal stuff. I miss that. And I haven't even been away from it for very long ..."

"A Shroomish! Look!" Jane displayed a startling talent for stating the obvious, when she wanted at least. She crouched down and dug through her bags for some food scraps (quite probably scavenged from the ranch. So this is where all half-full cookie jars end up!?). "I wonder if it is hungry!" she gently threw a few crumbles of chocolate chip cookies towards the pokémon. "Oh and if it likes Sweet things. Sweet is the best flavor, but some weird pokémon disagree..."

The Shroomish tries a few crumbs, but then makes a face of disgust. It clearly does not like sweets, and makes this known by giving Jane a stink-eye.

! Doesn't like sweets? Hmm. Jane frowned and looked into her bag. Maybe it would enjoy a Aguav berry instead? They were horribly bitter (and the one berry in Jane's inventory that listed a flavour)! Yeah let's try that one. She carefully reached out with the berry to Shroomish. "Do you think it'll like this one more huh? I've only tasted such bitterness when someone elses pokémon hangs on by 1 hp!"

Oh well. Or maybe there was something more wrong with this dimension, something far worse then she had ever feared. Turning slowly to Lia with a very worried and quickly paling face she asked slowly: "You have video-games in this world right..?"

Shroomish at least eats the whole thing this time. It doesn't seem to particularly like or dislike it. It also doesn't seem particularly interested in more food, but hey, it's 'free' food that it doesn't have to work for.

"Pew! I was starting fear that I had landed somewhere *really* horrible. Ah more then the human experimentation and all..." Jane sighed and then gave Lia an apologetic look. To distract them both from those worrying thoughts she reached out slowly to try and pet the Shroomish. "Mm maybe we should pick up some videogames. It might be fun if we'd ever decide to hang around the ranch. And ahem maybe those that only do that will appreciate the fun?"

Shroomish eyes Jane's hand suspiciously, but seems amenable to being touched. It knows it can easily overpower this human with some well-placed spores if need be.

Aha yes! No effect spores. That's good. Jane gives the small pokémon some alternating gentle patting and the scritching. It was said that that was good for the nerves. Hers' mainly. "Oh I'm sure we'll work something out! Hmm. Maybe one of those turn-based games? Then it won't matter if it takes some time to input commands!" Plus, hehe, I'm good at those!

Shroomish grows tired of the touching and moves away. If there is no more food being offered, and the human isn't going to try to attack/capture it, then it's time to go.
