"I did ..." Jane tries to look innocent again while reaching for an empty great ball. She also releases Nie the Whimsicott just in case things go wrong. But hopefully there were no need for that. The Munna looked half asleep already. Or maybe fully asleep? Oh well worth a shot! Great Ball attack!

Oh even more trickery! Well Jane hadn't met anyone that could outsmart greatball! (Disregarding the events that took place two turns ago of course...)
Jane throws her other Greatball at the snoozing Munna and with her pokémon action swaps to Fluffy the Flareon.

Fluffy looks around and drools just a tinsy bit. Typically when he was released in the wilds at random it was either for a snack or a battle. And since he couldn't see any wild pokémon around ... Oh hey! There was actually some sort of weird bipedal Ninetales there. Huh, very weird. Didn't look too edible though ... But maybe, who knew?
"Awesome!" Jane cheered. That was a really cool pokémon! And she'd gotten it. In a happy mood she went looking for the first great ball, the one that had tried to catch thin air. "Oh Fluffy come here! Lia, do you want to look for something now that we are already out and about?"

Lia (and Kamien) stare at Fluffy, sensing something. But she doesn't say anything for now. She nods when the Munna is caught.
"Nicely done. And as for me, I think I've gotten too many pokemon from 'normal' places. I know Kaeda's fine like that but I'd rather not have them all just hang out on the ranch until 'maybe' I need them. And the more I grab the more likely that is."
Lia pauses.
"Point me to a monster, and then we'll talk."

"A monster huh..?" Jane picks up her missing ball and starts thinking. Her idle gaze floats down to Fluffy. The Flareon was approaching Lia painfully slowly and just as slowly opened his mouth. He had seen the noodly strings ontop of the Ninetales feet and decided that they were probably the tastiest bit. Soon..!
"Hmm. You know, I do have a Rampados that isn't doing much, if you are interested in raising something stompy?" Jane reached down to pick up Fluffy before he did something too stupid. "But let's just take a nice walk first! Oh! I know; maybe your ranch could use some pokémon-toys. Like something to climb on? And hah about a thousand meters of yarn."

She drifts off, silent for a moment. She internally goes back to her Seafoam adventure and seeing the sustained portal. Could that help Jane? They would need to be prepped better, maybe not Lia going herself again.
