"So this is your house huh?" Jane looked around at the ranch, once they arrived. Hmm. I'm not sure if I'm glad that it's here or not ... It would have been kinda nice if their house was also gone; then she wouldn't be alone in having that issue. But on the other hand - she should probably not wish that sort of fate on anyone! (Well maybe that woman from the undersea lab. Maybe?) "So, uh, where can I sleep?"

Kaeda is ready to pass out from exhaustion, and takes Jane to some random vacant room. "Uh yeah. Here is fine...or choose another room later if you want or whatever...Be ready in the morning." Kaeda walks away rubbing her temples, but stops for a moment. "Oh...Before I forget, we got some other people staying here, and they look very...different. Don't freak out because that would be rude. Night." And then she's off to crash in her room. The next morning, Kaeda drags herself out of the bed, immediately starts preparing her equipment, and her pokemon. She eats a light breakfast, and waits for the others to gather.

"All right! Thanks again for letting me crash!" Jane nodded several times to express gratitude. Then she retired into her (borrowed) room to spend some time with her pokémon and journal. While tired, she felt that she had to gather her thoughts somehow. Today had been weird to say the least ... She'd save meeting the other house guests for another day!
---
Jane isn't up too early, but once she hears the sound of training outside she also rolls out of her bed to do her morning rituals. Practice, food, maybe a shower if she could, food and oh maybe pack something for the day. She could be found quite easily right next to Kaeda/Floyds fridge/pantry. "*nom* I *nom* made *nom* some *nom-nom* sandwiches. *gnomf-glup* I hope you don't mind!"

If Kaeda was in a better mood, she'd be very amused. But, she is...somewhat amused. "Uhh...It's really no big deal. Eat as much as you need. Anyways, I was thinking we need to step it up. We have the lab locations, so I think we can actually take on two of them today. There is a lab underwater near Cinnabar, and one on Cinnabar island itself."

"Two lab locations? Hmm..." Jane thinks aloud while preparing a whole new set of sandwiches. It didn't sound like they were stopping for lunch so better to be sure! "I wonder; will there be people at all of them? Weren't they supposed to be shut down? And do you think they'll bulk up the security... That might be a bother!"
"Oh and we should thing of a way to subtly check if the crazy hag did all that she threatened to do. It will suck if we can't step into a pokécenter without getting swatted!" She started to wrap up her extra food and move it to her bag. With a lot of extra plastic in it this time; didn't want more things to get wet. "Mm. Do you think the news would cover it?"

Floyd silently arrives, crunching on a mix of nuts, berries and muesli he kept in the barn. He shrugs at Jane before looking at Kaeda.
"We'll probably need Calyx to punch through to the underwater facility again. So if we check the land based one first and things go south I'll need to be very careful about using her in battle unless we can afford to lose another day. But given how close these two are they could be connected and my worries are moot."
He pauses, imagining being able to call on Atropa or better yet Vince for help with this before realising that he was missing the obvious option.
"But first we should speak to Aleisandra. We need to tell her about whats actually happened with Lia and she might be able to help."

"Who?" Jane looked puzzled. Then she shrugged, wondering why she had expected to actually know whom these people knew. Ah well! It'd get better when everything turned back to normal she assumed.
"But I agree with the point that healthy water types will be important - so why not start with the underwater one?"

Kaeda nods along. "Alright then. Let's go inform Alei about the situation. Hopefully she could help out...Either way, we hit the underwater Cinnabar base. Let's get going." Kaeda restocks on her supplies, and is out the door to the cerulean gym.

Floyd follows with a nod, glancing back at Jane.
"Aleisandra is the gym leader of Cerulean city and Lia's employer." He explains.

"Oh I see!" Jane nodded. That might certainly help, having someone with some leverage. She quickly swapped the injured Fluffy for her Mr. Mime (simply called Mr. Mime - they'd have to sit down and think about that one once all this blew over). Then she was ready to head out and follow Kaeda + Floyd.

After getting into Cerulean Gym and explaining what has happened to Lia, Alei frowns. She would dearly love to aid the party, but between Gym Leader responsibilities and it not being her jurisdiction, her hands are unfortunately tied. Cinnabar Island and the surrounding waters are the jurisdiction of Ashandra, the Gym Leader over there. Anything that doesn't fall under the direct scrutiny of the Indigo League around Viridian would be the jurisdiction of Mei-Ling, the resident Gym Leader there.
The best that Alei can do is offer her moral support and give the other two Leaders a heads-up that the group is coming their way so there are no misunderstandings. The worst they'll do is look the other way and let the party do what they will. Alei will also ask that the party gather real, tangible proof of what is going on in these strange facilities they've discovered. The name on the plaque may have been Saffron Genetics, a private company with no real League oversight, but if they're involved in things like kidnapping and unwilling genetic modifications as the party claims, then the more hard evidence they can collect, the better.
This is not to say that Alei doesn't believe them, she does, but in order to get the League involved, she'll need real evidence to present them. They can't act without it. If there is anything that they've been sitting on, she hints, now's the time to bring it forward officially.

Jane felt a bit like an extra wheel placed somewhere not very useful during the conversation with Alei. She didn't quite follow what they all seemed to refer to. But on the bright side, it was kinda nice meeting the gym leader again...

Of coarse they would need proof. Kaeda takes this advice, and purchases a small body cam. For now she stores it in a case, and will use it to record the inside of these bases. Now armed with new tech, and lots of memory cards for storage, she was ready to raid, and expose these next few bases. Hopefully Lia was in one of these two.

Floyd tells Aleisandra about his Delta Vespiquen and how he acquired her, as well as about the two pokemon-human hybrids staying on their ranch. He also mentions that a representative of Saffron Genetics has claimed that there are perfectly legal reasons for all this to be done, though they claimed none of it involved kidnapping, amnesia or randomly handing out delta pokemon to collect on favours later.

The Delta Vespiquen is by itself not proof of anything except a strange Pokemon. The circumstances under which Floyd claims to have received it are certainly suspect, but alas not provable since it seems unlikely that he recorded the conversation or has written proof of the deal in question. These Poke-human hybrids are probably the most interesting proof, alongside of the self-proclaimed representative of Saffron Genetics. If this person's claim can be verified, it would certainly go a long way towards spurring the League to action. The trouble is in the verification process itself. Identities are not difficult to steal/forge (unfortunately), depending on what that identity needs to say about a person. Thankfully, DNA samples can go a long way towards proving one's identity.
In the end, Floyd & Co have a lot of questionable evidence that could become useful if proven. The biggest and most easily proven step is to get Celestyna to speak to authorities about proving her identity, though it will be difficult considering the length of time she has been 'missing', and therefore has likely been declared dead some time ago.

Floyd thanks Aleisandra with a shrug and goes to leave, knowing Kaeda will be feeling impatient. He takes a moment to send a message back to the ranch, telling Celestyn and Sasha to head to Cerulean gym if he and the others aren't back in two days before finishing his preparations for Cinnabar.

With her equipment ready, pokemon ready, and ready to kick ass, Kaeda hops on her dragon to take to the skies. She shoots text messages to the others to get a move on towards the underwater lab of Cinnabar. Kaeda waits just off the coast of Pallet town to wait for the others before the raid starts.

When Floyd inquires about a flying pokémon Jane seems evasive, despite clearly using one to chase them when they first met. "Ah yeah I have Hind my Drifblim but I kinda don't have a flying licence yet..."

Kaeda is flying along, and going over what she plans to do in her head. But, a stray thought comes rushing in from her subconscious. "Fuck! Floyd can't fly!" She then pumps the theoretical brakes on her Hydreigon, and steers it back to Cerulean. Kaeda mentally kicks herself as she has to waste time turning back. She gets back to Cerulean after a short bit, and locates the others. "Sorry! I forgot you don't have fliers Floyd." She tosses him her Salamence once again.

Floyd nods with a slight smirk before boarding Salamence.
