Kaeda rubs her chin, and sighs. She isn't too keen on splitting up, but she is desperate to find Lia as fast as possible. "I don't like splitting up, but I wanna search as fast as possible. If you two want to follow, go ahead, but I need to search right away." Kaeda stomps her way down the left path.

Kaeda quickly finds herself walking down a series of twisting and turning hallways after taking the left path after it quickly branches off. For whatever reason, she kept instinctively taking each left turn as it came up and quickly left her friends behind. That's okay though, as Fluffy/Prometheus the Flareon already got her scent and could easily track her down again. While Jane and Floyd silently debate whether or not to split the party fully or follow after her, Kaeda eventually finds herself in front of a room with a keypad lock sporting the biohazard symbol.

Kaeda inspects the door, and whips out her pokedex. She pulls up the map for this facility again to see what this room is.

Kaeda finds that this room is roughly on the westernmost edge of the facility, presuming that the top of the map is north.

Kaeda shrugs, moves away a bit, sends out her Metagross, and has Ariadne bust down the door.

Jane looks to Floyd. She wasn't sure what course of action that would be the best one. But she knew at least that she didn't want to be alone in here [and face any enemies scaled to Floyd or Kaeda  ] so she would stick with him. |

Floyd sighs and turns to follow Kaeda, setting aside his silent debate about what to do with the clerk.
"We'd better keep up with her. If she gets mad and starts a fire or something the entire facility could rapidly get destroyed."
He says as he starts down the corridor.

Jane's Flareon easily traces Kaeda's route through the facility's twisting passageways. They arrive to see she had smashed open a heavily secured door and was now glowering at the security personnel inside of a small security outpost. Whatever they were discussing doesn't seem to have pleased Kaeda.

"There you guys are." Kaeda looks to the others who followed after her. "Found nothing but a hidden wing dedicated to virus R&D. I was just about to go smash down more doors."

Kaeda shakes her head. "No. I'm not that desperate....Anyways, keep your eyes peeled for hidden paths. We have to search every square inch, but without killing ourselves, yeah?" Kaeda hops back onto her dex to search the map again.

As Kaeda was somehow on a beeline for this hidden wing of the facility, there are many paths and doors she has not checked yet along her original route. Add to that the entire rest of the facility and the group will be at this for quite some time. They only need decide which direction to go next.

Kaeda taps her chin, and shrugs. "This place isn't busting itself down. Grab a door, and take a look inside." Kaeda heads back down the corridor to start knocking down doors she passed with the help of her Metagross.

Kaeda starts busting down every door she comes across, many of which are either storage closets or less-than-lethal research stations. Seems like this entire wing may be a bust if you're not into potential biological warfare and cures for cancer.

Floyd follows Kaeda saying nothing for a while.
"Maybe we should try a different area. Or a different lab, if this one isn't big enough to do two things at once."
He suggests after the ninth or tenth door with nothing behind it.

"It's starting to feel like that ..." Jane sighs in agreement with Floyd. Besides - she was starting to worry that her friends wasn't being kept here at all and that they would only unleash some super plague by lingering too long. Or perhaps even worse - be held accountable for their actions!

"Well then this path was a dud. Onto the next then." Once she's cleaned out the first chosen path, Kaeda walks back to crossroads, and goes down the next closest path. She will not be satisfied until she breaks in, and searches every possible place here for Lia.

Trudging along back to the crossroads, Kaeda instinctively turns left, heading down the northern path; Floyd and Jane in tow. As you bust down more random office doors only to find either terrified workers that have no valuable information or nothing at all, this entire endeavor begins to feel like a waste of time. This feeling persists until you come across a strangely large, open room. On the far side of this room is a woman in a tight, red dress. She is flanked by two rather beefy-looking men (ostensibly bodyguards or somesuch). She appears to be addressing two other men before her eyes snap to your group entering the room.
"Ah. You must be the intruders. I wonder, just what is it you think you are accomplishing by damaging our research facility? I'm sure you know we're trying to help humanity by now if you've paid any attention to those you've interrogated and the research you've attempted to steal." She waits patiently for your response.

Kaeda balks. "Steal!? You're the thieves! I could care less about what you are doing down here! Where are you keeping Lia!?" She holds out one of her pokeballs. "I'm prepared to continue wrecking this facility, and you as well, until you tell me where she is! "

The woman quirks an eyebrow. "Thieves? Us? I think you are mistaken, dear girl. Even if it were true, you are the ones in the wrong here. You have not only trespassed upon private government property, but have proceeded to deliberately damage as much of the internal structure as you can. That qualifies you, by law, as a terrorist." She pauses a moment. "I don't know who this 'Lia' is, but I assure you there is nobody living here except for our employees. Besides, if we really were thieves and kidnappers, as you claim, then why would you trust a word we say? I could tell you anything and lure you into a trap easily. As it is, my two security workers here are going to place you under arrest. I would prefer you not resist, but somehow I get the feeling you aren't about to 'go quietly' after the mess you've made of our very expensive facility. You're just lucky that you haven't managed to damage anything vital yet, else I'd be perfectly willing to let you die here; a consequence of your own idiocy."
Her eyes scan the rest of the group. "And what of the rest of you? Will you let her lead you further down such a self-destructive path, or will you surrender and pay your dues in prison for trespassing and as accomplices to your friend's terrorist actions. Fret not, we have security footage that shows you as no more than that, so if you surrender, you will be shown as much leniency as we can afford to show."
