After a bit of a weird silence, Lia just says night and retires with Kaeda for the night. The next morning she wakes, a little lost. Floyd being called into his favor makes things a lot more intense, but they have no real leads beyond one, and that one she won't want anything to do with. Somewhere in Lia's mind she knows that maybe there's an 'enemy of my enemy is my friend' logic to Floyd's quest for Vali but... if Lia's there she'll just end up ruining it. She still doesn't trust her at all. She stole from these people, stole from Vincent, tried to corner and extort them when they met in Mt Moon, got them all in trouble for the fight spilling out in Lavender, and cheated to get past Lia in Fuschia. There's zero guarentee that she won't just ditch them and run when it's convenient to. Maybe even with their valuable shit.
Outside of going back to Pewter to where she was attacked, she has very little leads. And after botching her training yesterday, she's kinda unwilling to do much relating to her anti-crime goal today.
She sighs and leans her head back against the headboard. She looks over to Kaeda.
"You awake?"

Eve returns from the dead! And by from the dead, she means back from travelling who knows where and fighting who knows what the day before. Whatever had happened, it was a day of productive field observation for Eve, who had actually spent most of the day taking notes on if there were any visible changes in the Eevee eggs depending on their location, something she had been studying since last week and... Well, blah blah blah.
Anyways, Eve was back up and running, as one would probably hear when she tripped and took a tumble down the stairs while on her way to the kitchen for breakfast. It certainly was a wise decision on her part to leave carrying the eggs in the eggwarmer in Letty's good hands while the trainer and her Pokemon traveled.

Lia sighs as she hears the crash. She sends out her new ghost rat.
"Hey Hori, can you make sure Eve is not dead?"
Hori gives a little squeak of acknowledgement and zips through the wall and finds the source of the noise. Once she finds it she sniffs at Eve, trying to see if she's alive.

Lia looks back over, and snuggles with Kaeda.
"Hi. I'm just gonna get up soon, and wondering what your plans for the day are."
Lia pauses.
"Also I think I heard Eve fall on her face. I sent Hori to go check if she's ok."

Ven the Illuseon greets Hori's inquisitive sniffs with a nose-to-nose boop, suddenly appearing without warning from Eve's body. For a moment, it looks as if maybe that was Eve's spirit leaving her body...
But nah. Eve was fine. Despite being still face-down on the ground, Eve raises a thumbs up and assures, "All good!" in a sort of timely manner.

Hori reels back a bit in surprise, but the human Lia told her to go investiage seems ok now, so she just squeaks at the fellow ghost type before phasing back through the wall, job done. She returns to Lia and nods to her to aknowledge that everything is ok. Lia leans over and yells through the wall.
"You out there, Eve? Or is that Floyd being REALLY loud again?"

Eve's face lifts off the ground, with the rest of her body as she pushes herself up. She assures, "Yep! Just me! I just tripped! No holes in the walls this time!" as she stands up and dusts herself out. Continuing the conversation through the wall, she yells a question, "I think I'm going to Celadon today! Anything you'd like from there?!".

I mean Lia does need a bunch and a little part of her wishes she hadn't donated so much but it's too late now. She would need things for Seafoam eventually. A winter coat ain't gonna cut it in a cave full of potential permafrost. She'll need thermal shit and a lot of gear and supplies before heading in.

"I don't know. I feel like there's something that can be done about this whole Sand Ninja shit that I can do but it's a pretty cold lead and after yesterday I hardly feel like tackling it. There's somewhere I can go explore but I'm hardly prepped to go..."
Lia sighs.
"And there's something I got to try but I'm not even sure how to start using it so... I'm just a bit lost all over."

Lia blushes.
"Well we'll start with the last thing. Just don't laugh."
She reaches under the bed and hefts out something heavy.
"So I've been thinking about the long term and what I actually want to do with my life. Ever since my parents started training me for fighting, I've always been thinking there'd always be fighting in my future. So for the first in a long time, that's been removed. So I went back to what I thought I wanted when I was a kid and well..."
Lia pulls out the guitar case and opens it revealing a very nice acoustic guitar.
"... I bought this to start playing."
Quickly trying to change the subject, she moves onto the other things.
"The cold lead would be me headed back to pewter and seeing if I can get info on the attack on me from the police there? Or maybe there's some evidence of them nearby? I mean that one hybrid had to come from somewhere nearby..."
Lia thinks for a moment about that one, leaving the final thing unsaid for now as that one might make Kaeda upset.

Kaeda marvels at the guitar. This seems like a better, and much safer use of Lia's time. "Woooow. I had no idea you had an interest in music. Learning instruments is super cool!"

"Well I mean it was a kids fantasy to be a rockstar but I mean now that my life is open, why not? It seems a bit silly but..."
She trails off a bit and looks back.
"... I don't know, what do you think?"

"Ok, thanks. And that goes double for not saying I'm crazy for this. But you said you might have input on what I should do next? I got the sand-ninja stuff, a side thing for research to get me a powerful pokemon that might be a little risky, or find me a teacher or something for this."
Lia gestures to the instrument.
