Floyd says nothing more to the woman and leaves, going directly back to the ranch so he could catch Lia up on what was happening. He'd need to suggest that she - that he track down Vasiliwen and see if she was willing to share what she knew about the nameless organisation that created the delta pokemon. And warn her that they were intending to 'take care of her' soon.
Even if she reminded him of Atropa, she probably didn't deserve to be captured or killed by these people.

Hori squeaks as a big armored human walks up and is about to get ready to defend them both when Lia holds out a hand.
"Scier, fill her in on our friends, I don't need her ghosting on Eve or Kaeda. I got this."
Scier starts explaining Lia's friends while she walks up to Floyd who has quite the serious face on.
"Hey, you alright? Something happen while you ask her about type-shifts?"

"I need to invoke a legendary patron in an arcane ritual but more importantly the shadowy organisation that gave me Sicarius decided to call in their favour for some of my blood. Except now Sicarius is a loan and they want multiple favours now. And they said Vasiliwen is a former associate turned thief, which matches with what she incoherently claimed when we fought her. Perhaps we should try and track her down for more information?"
He says bluntly and with no hesitation.

Lia reels hard when Floyd just dumps info on her.
"Ok, what? Fucking what?"
She looks angry or upset, probably both, and looks at Floyd.
"You just broke your friggin promise and your own advice, stupid. You TOLD me that you'd contact me when they called in the favor! You promised me that! You even said that it would be SUPER dumb to walk into a trap alone and that you wouldn't keep up your end of the bargain!"
Lia paces back and forth, obviously upset.

Floyd winces and hesitates before speaking again.
"I know it was stupid, but I wasn't certain I would be able to contact you without them knowing - I have no idea if they could monitor my phone and if they were it's better you stay off their radar as much as possible. Which is even more true for Kaeda and Eve. And we needed more information about them. Which you wouldn't have gotten much of if you'd watched from the shadows, because they were there before me and left on a helicopter. And I only had a few hours to reach them from Fuchsia - I don't think you'd be fast enough to reach the meeting point."

"Right there! You left Fuschia! How in the world would we have known! Send a pokemon back to the ranch.. or something damnit. I don't care about staying off their radar, I'm about to get ON it! And I'm not saying we would have gotten much but..."
She stomps.
"God damnit if that meeting went south, they could have abducted your ass and then what? You, Kaeda, and Sasha are all worried about me... but that goes both ways! We don't have anything on them, or even something close to a clue how to find them. They take you, and you are GONE."
She walks away a few steps.
"If you assholes can't keep your promises about not doing dumb things then why should I? But yeah, go track down her and beat the shit out of her for info for all I care."

"That fucking woman stands for nothing and nobody. Let's go back through it. Vincent first met her when she stole shit from him and his friend. Then we met her in Mt Moon where she set up some 'pay me or I'll attack you with my spider' trap. She said we only cared about the league challenge, and then I find her taking it in Fuschia."
She shakes her head.
"I don't care what her or these people's beefs are. She can't be trusted. Hell it only sounds like she stole from them. If you find her and want someone to beat the snot out of her until she talks, I'm your girl. Otherwise count me out. Next time I see her I only have enough reason to strike her down."

Floyd shrugs once again.
"Two months ago I'd have said most of the same things about Atropa. There seems to be things about Vasiliwen that we don't know, that could explain her actions. And I don't intend to condemn someone that could be a useful ally without finding out what her thoughts on the matter are." He says and pauses.
"And I won't be doing this again. Not only do I owe these people nothing, they've made it clear they cannot be trusted in good faith. If I must meet with them in future it will be with your backup. Or at least your knowledge."

"Of course." Floyd says with a nod, turning towards the kitchen and the promise of food. "Also I might need to go to another region for a while. There aren't any steel type legendaries in Kanto and some of them might require me to submit my supplication in person." He adds, remembering the research he'll need to do on steel typed legendaries.

Lia's not sure what else to add or what to suggest, for either subject. She runs her hands through her hair, trying to figure out something else to say.

She looks over to Floyd.

Floyd shrugs, once more using the gesture that he'd only recently mastered.
"The mysterious organisation that gave me Sicarius called in their favour, which was for me to give them a sample of my blood. I had limited time to respond and didn't trust my phone, so i didn't tell Lia. And now they're saying that I have to give Sicarius back after I beat the Cinnabar gym and that I have to do more than one favour." He explains before blinking and pausing. "Hello by the way." He adds after a moment.

Kaeda just silently blinks at Floyd. "Oh. Is that all?" She says flatly. "Pretty obvious some shady organization, who hands out strange pokemon, would collect on their investment." She turns to Lia. "Those strange pokemon. Just like the ones that girl in Lavender had. Do we know anymore about these people?"

Lia holds her hands in her pockets.
"Vali had them, yeah. According to Floyd's shady people, she stole some deltas from them and HE wants to go form an alliance with her against these people. One I have zero approval of."
Lia thinks for a moment.
"So let's lay this down. Here is what we know. Back in Pewter before we met you Kaeda, before I even had my first badge, I was attacked by a group of masked people chasing down what I now know as one of many hybrid human/pokemon. I tried to save her and failed as they re-captured her and knocked me out as the police showed up and I woke up in the hospital. But their leader had one. A Noibat that was Steel/Grass somehow and kicked my ass."
Lia pauses, bringing that up was a bit hard, but she continues.
"Then we have Sasha, who was in a base with more hybrids that sounds like it was attacked and that's when she escaped. That leads us to Floyd, who was contacted by these business ladies who gave him a Delta in exchange for a favor, which starts with blood and makes me feel like we'll be facing shadow Floyd at some point."
She grumbles thinking the final thing.
"And then we have Mega-boner-killer Vali, who we keep running into multiple times, who's had Deltas at least since our encounter in Mt Moon originally, again before you Kaeda, and seems to have her own weird agenda. Now according to these agents or whatever, it seems like she originally was offered this deal and failed to pay back so now they want her."
Lia breathes a sigh.
"And 'That' is our full situation."

Kaeda rubs her temples as she listens to the run down. "Ugh. It feels like I'll need to here that a few more times to get all of it..." She looks to FLoyd. "Also, do we need to start escorting you? Do you need a chaperone to make sure you don't get attacked or something? Pretty much taking candy from strangers..." She sighs, and puts her hands on her hips. "So what now?"

"Yes, Eve will protect me from the dangers of the world." Floyd says, seemingly being perfectly serious. "I need to conduct further research into the type shifting ritual and may need to leave Kanto to perform it. And I will try and track down Vasiliwen, as she seems to know more about what is happening then we do."

"For now, there's not a whole bunch we can do. As Floyd said, if he finds her and beats the shit out of her for info that's something. Maybe he 'should' go out of the country for a bit, after all if they are local here in kanto it might be too much trouble for them to come find you as long as it doesn't look like you are running. Maybe pre-purchase your return ticket."
