"There was a man who collected rare pokemon. And the rarest he had was an ice/dragon type called Kyurem - its body was grey with armour seemingly made of blue ice and a yellow crest. It had a severe underbite, short arms and strange non-functional wings. It attacked with powerful ice, rock and ground moves and fared poorly against my steel pokemon. According to the man it was utilised by a criminal organisation in Unova 20 years ago, but he was vague on precisely how he acquired it."
Floyd says, recounting everything he remembered of the battle and the legendary pokemon.

Lia listens in, facinated that by pure chance Floyd just happened to find someone with a legendary. And deep down, this unsettles her. She's already having issues being able to just win against 'normal' trainers half the time. Then there's all the humans with powers or just plain weird shit (Looking at you, Bob), and now they could just 'have' a legend like that? Today is not the day to have this sort of thought process.
...Although. Would it be possible to have that edge... herself? She mulls on that for a moment before looking back up.
"A stupid part of me wants to go find this guy and challenge him just to satisfy my curiousity but my pokemon and I aren't one hundred percent right now so it's probably a terrible idea."
Lia idly kicks the air.
"And even if he's being coy about how he got it, it's not like it'd help find anyone save for maybe the other two in that story."
Before anyone looks over to be like 'how did she know that', Lia throws up her hands.
"Hey not everyone likes the whole Johto stories and legends while they were kids. Especially a kid version of me.
There was a little group at our school during history week who'd rebel by trying to talk about the Unova legends. Y'know, cause it's a dragon that turned into three even cooler dragons. Instead of two birds and a trio of beasts that just seem to run any time anyone sees em. What fun is that?"

Kaeda also gives Lia a confused look. "...Sure thing, sweetie! Anyways, very impressive, Floyd. I've never had the chance to see a legendary, let alone one that was carried by some random stranger. I wonder what it would take to get one." She muses over the amazing aspect of obtaining a legendary pokemon. The idea makes her quite giddy.

Lia received no weird looks from Eve. Eve was too much of a nerd to judge Lia for random trivia. She actually didn't realize it was particularly strange to know that Kyurem followed the legendary trio formula that was found in several other regions.
Eve thinks to herself quietly while the others talk. She isn't interested in capturing any legendaries. Why would she be interested in owning them? However, in every other way besides capturing, she wanted to go out and track down this man. To see a living myth in person was a rare opportunity that the scholar in Eve was loath to pass up.
However, just how likely was this opportunity? Especially now, a full day since Floyd had met the mystery man? Eve would rather chase down Eevees.
"I don't think we'll be able to find this man again, anyways, but... I mean... If you guys want to try, I'll tag along, I guess?".

Lia gives Kaeda a big comical kiss on the cheek before making her way to the bathroom to begin running the hot water.

KAeda chuckles. "Let me know if need help...or company..." She turns to the others. "Gonna prep my pokemon. We'll meet up in a little bit, Eve." Kaeda goes to round up some pokes, get them nice and stretched, and checks back in on Lia. With a knock on their bathroom door. "Heelllooo~?"

Lia turns away from Kaeda, but pauses for a response.

Kaeda chews her lip, and just can't play along. What if she slipped!? She then walks up, and hugs Lia from behind. "Hmph. Letting you get away with more bodily harm is something I can't let slide on my behalf." She gets that robe off, and before getting too handsy, she helps her injured girlfriend into the tub. She pulls out some soaps, and bath salts from a cabinet, and looks them over as she takes a seat on the nearby toilet.

Lia smirks but silently lets Kaeda help her out before being slipped into the hot waters which is like heaven after her full day yesterday. Of the events during the challenge and... after. After a moment, she looks over.
"How did you like the robe?"

Kaeda pats the neatly folded robe on her lap. "It's lovely, hun. Very nice surprise." Kaeda then pours in a mix of salts, and minerals, into the bath. After getting them mixed around, a little bit of ointment is applied to Lia's shoulders to help with soreness.

Lia just lays back and enjoys the spa-like treatment Kaeda is giving her. After the first few minutes, she's already feeling better.
"Ok so spending time walking doesn't sound like the worst thing in the world anymore."

Eve readied herself, including going to the market to buy some basic balls. By some magic, she's back at the house without having made Lia and Kaeda wait for too long.
