Sasha slinks into the kitchen with her baby Litwick in tow, and stops to look at Lia's choice of wardrobe. She doesn't say anything, just sort of offers a curious look.

Lia waves to Sasha as she comes in.
"Mornin Sasha."
Lia raises an eyebrow as her outfit seems to get an eye from her, but Sasha only seems curious, so she drops it. It's probably weird for her anyway, maybe this wasn't the greatest idea.

A "Hmm" to greet Kaeda followed by another "Hmm" to greet Lia before Eve finally looks up from her whatever she's studying to... well... stare at what Lia wore. "Hmm?" Tempted as she was to ask if Lia was planning to ritual summon Shaymin or something today, Eve keeps that comment to herself once she sees the purple bruises and generally dejected air. Instead, she says, "Morning and ouch. Those look nasty. I take it you're going to take it easy today, right?".

"It's really cute. I want to get one of my own." She returns the kiss, and then looks to Eve. "Oh that's right! Eve, we were wondering what you would be doing today. We all did some heavy training on the boat, but some seemed to out speed others. So, we thought maybe we go out, and go looking for Eevee. How about it?"

"Oh. Hey, I was going to do that today, too!" Eve replied with gusto, her posture bouncing up and eyes gleaming. She started rambling, "I was going to restock on my pokeballs and then shuffle around in the wild grass a bit to find some Eevees. Mary beat me at the Poison gym again, and it looks like I'm really going to raise an Espeon. Though, I had wanted to tackle the secrets of a flying Eevee next. I dunno, I guess I'll have to look at the..." and it just went on and on and on. It was difficult to say if Eve even breathed during her rush of words. Eventually, though, she controlled her excitement and returned to the topic at hand. "Oh, but... You guys aren't just suggesting this because you feel bad for me, are you?... I don't want to be a bother to you guys..." She shifted in her seat, appearing both hesitant and eager at the same time.

A little less self-conscious now, Lia listens (and reels a bit) as Eve goes off on a crazy tangent. When she stops and asks if it's for pity, Lia looks really confused.
"What, cause you lost at the gym?"
Lia looks to Kaeda before going back to Eve.
"That would make a total of three of us that lost at gyms yesterday. But to be clear, we are going out to help you GET more Eevee. At least I would be. Kaeda might want one. Other than that, well it kinda occured to me that even though we've been friends for a while, we all haven't had a chance to hang out. And that feels like an oversight on my part. I don't think any of us were feeling ourselves out at sea, so that can be our group excuse as to why no friend bonding happened. But I want to change that and actually hang out today."

Having heard Lia's answer, Eve's face breaks out into a big smile. It was good to know that this wasn't just because they felt bad for her. "Company is always appreciated! But are you sure you don't want an Eevee of your own? They're so cute! And fluffy! I mean, Floyd's had his Automateon for a while it seems, so I'm sure you know what I mean!" Eve chirped as she started clearing up her materials. If they were going to do this today, she would need to hustle for those extra Pokeballs. "And I was thinking the same as you, that we should get to know each other better. Ever since I moved into the ranch with you, I've been feeling like we should hang out some more." Eve stood up, which turned out to be a mistake because she tripped face-first into her cup of tea. Glub. Glub.
Synchronized face-palm from Eve's team of six. It was okay. Eve didn't need any help. Sputtering, she picked herself out of her tea before she was in any danger of drowning by less than half a cup of liquid.

Lia pokes more around Kaeda to get a better look at Eve.
"But yeah I agree. Which is why I said it was an oversight. Cause I've been busy or caught up with the pre-trip stuff or spending time with Kaeda here and ignoring a person basically living in my home-"
Lia's a bit blank-faced as Eve nearly drowns in her tea.
Don't laugh. Don't say anything. You just said you wanted to be better friends. Noooooothing.
Lia manages to hold back a reaction and just looks to Eve concerned when she comes up sputtering.
"You alright Eve?"

Sasha is completely taken by surprise by Eve's sudden face-cup into her tea. How does one trip and land face-first into a cup no bigger than one's hand and not manage to knock it over? She sits there for a moment, mouth agape as Eve somehow manages to half-drown in a cup of tea. It's just completely beyond comprehension to her, and yet, all the others stand/sit there like this is a normal occurrence. Even her own Pokemon!

While Eve is distracted, Lia notices Sasha's reaction and looks over to her. She makes a 'cut it out motion' with her hand before mouthing 'It's normal, don't worry' in the hopes that Eve won't feel too bad about her accident.

Kaeda merely sighs as Eve almost drowns, and hands her a nearby towel. "Here you go, Eve. Finding an Eevee of my own, and us bonding together does sound absolutely lovely. Once we are all ready, we can head out." She looks to Lia. "Would you like a pokemon to ride? I'm sure walking around might get tiring."

Eve gratefully accepts the towel, mumbling thanks followed by something along the lines of, "physics never makes sense." Somehow, since facepalming with the rest of the crew, Lea had started snickering. Letty and Vee were there to comfort Eve, though, giving her compassionate pats on the back.
If she was at all offended, Eve didn't show it, and considering she was just a terrible liar, it was safe to say that she was not. In fact, she commented, "I'm surprised, and kind of glad, that no one laughed..." Obviously, no one except her own Pokemon. Eve knew what to expect from her gang.
She didn't stay on the topic of herself for long, though, almost immediately easing into the topic of Lia's ride. "I have a Jellicient if you'd like? Letty will just blast away anything we try to catch, so I have a spare spot in my party, anyways. Dunno how you'd ride him, but he looks like he'll at least be big enough."

"So I'm the only one who had a good day yesterday? Because I fought a pokemon called Kyurem and the man commanding it claimed it was a legendary pokemon. Do you know of such a pokemon?"

Kaeda looks at Floyd, blinks, and starts chuckling. "...hehehe. Hahaha! Oh my! I didn't expect that! I didn't think you were one for jokes, Floyd." Kaeda then sighs, and rubs Lia's back. Why were these girls a danger to themselves?

Eve's cleanup was ongoing, and by some gracious god, she had already set down everything in her arms when Floyd made the big reveal. "Excuse me?!" Eve turned with a start. She looked at Floyd's, as always, serious expression, and like, would he have even known what a Kyurem was if he hadn't met one himself?
"N-no Kaeda..." Eve stuttered, unable to truly believe it herself. "I think he's telling the truth..."
Eve didn't know what to think, so she just focused on trying to answer Floyd's question. More than a little dazed that Floyd would just happen across a legendary, she half-consciously rattled off whatever came to her mind about Kyurem and its related information.
