Kaeda raises an eyebrow for a millisecond thinking she was just called stupid, but then knows who she's referring to. "I hate her too, baby. Me too. Wanna stay in bed? Want me to get you some breakfast?"

Lia tries to roll over again to get out of bed and fails in an attempt to show she's fine. She sighs for a long time, and sorty meekly adds "Yeah ok that would be really nice of you..."

Kaeda kisses her Lia's cheek, and gets up out of bed. Soon she's in the kitchen whipping up a nice, hot breakfast for her injured girlfriend. Shen then returns to the bed room carrying two plates, she sets them down, helps prop up Lia, and then joins her in bed with the food. "Here we go, sweetheart."

Lia blushes and accepts the breakfast. To know that the two of them began meeting each other and hating the other's guts, and now Kaeda is the most precious thing in the world to Lia throws her for a loop. And here she is, basically taking care of a beat-to-crap Lia like it's no issue. Lia smiles, and eats, deep in thought.

Kaeda can't help but watch Lia at moments. She finally speaks up after swallowing some food. "I don't get to cook that often. Is it good or no?"

Eve wakes up in a pile of Eeveelutions and honestly the only thing that could beat that for her would be even more Eevees. She wakes up, eats a great breakfast, and figures out what to even do.

"Oh good! And, no problem. I'm happy to do it, and breakfast in bed is a treat I haven't had in years." She finishes up a bit quickly, and lays her head on Lia's shoulder.

Eve is also in the kitchen, having decided to think there. As usual, she's got a spread of some academic writing or another open in front of her on her laptop. At one point, though, she peeks around the top of her laptop and asks Floyd, "So, any plans for today?".

Lia finishes herself and manages to get her arm around Kaeda. She feels a pang of emotion from the night before again. She's having the same sort of crisis of confidence as before. She fought out of that eventually, but it seems harder this time, and Kanto is starting to wear her down. But...
Lia looks down to Kaeda. She has her now. Last night proved that Kaeda's affection made her forget about the whole day. She's damn perfect. And if not Kaeda, Floyd has already proven that if Lia's going to self-doubt and pout, he'll annoy her back to normal somehow. It's like his super power.
She frowns and thinks for a moment. If she hits some sort of 'wall' and can't get over it in terms of the league, she might be angry with herself and be frustrated enough to want to rip the surrounding area apart but... Between Kaeda and Floyd, they'll pull her back somehow. The idea does unsettle her. A lot. But she'll find something to do with her life. She'll figure it out.
Although... thinking about her friends brings up something akward. She looks to Kaeda.
"Ok, babe? So I'm not saying we do this right now, cause I'm sore as hell and cuddling with you is great, but...
I feel like I've been ignoring Eve. I mean even you went to dinner with her pre-boat and I think we were all in our own little world on the boat itself. Maybe you and I should help her out today? I know she wants more Eevees. Maybe we could go hunting for em?"

Kaeda "hmms" as she thinks over Lia's idea. "Huh. I guess helping out Eve today could be fun. Let's make sure to tell her before she heads out somewhere." KAeda gets her own arm around Lia, and cuddles nice and close. "Finding some Eevee's sounds super fun." She plants another kiss on Lia's cheek.

Lia kisses back.

"Well if you want to go live in a mansion by the water for the rest of your days, let me know, and we are out of here." Kaeda rubs Lia's back, grabs the plates, and gets up. "Gonna wash these. I'll see if Eve is around too. Be right back~." Kaeda makes her way to the kitchen. "Eve? Are you around?"

Lia closes her eyes when Kaeda rubs her back for a little before getting up.
"I mean that'd be nice I guess..."
And as Kaeda walks out of the room, she finishes just to herself.
"But... I don't know if I could do it."
Lia crosses her arms as the thoughts come swirling back for a little. Sure, a life of luxury seems like a great life. Maybe even after her life of being the daughter trained to take over the dojo, it's something she deserves instead? She had the realization that being the student that's the daughter made her win more often out of fear, but that didn't stop her parents from training her like mad. A life where she can just relax is maybe earned at this point. But on the other hand, if Lia doesn't have some sort of end goal or something to do or fight for, she's probably going to go crazy.
She sighs as that line of reasoning brought up something she hasn't thought of for a while. Her parents. Eventually she's going to have face them down in the future. She can't just ignore them forever. She may have realized they messed her up but... Lia's not a cruel person, and they weren't really 'trying' to mess her up on purpose. Eventually she'll have to find them and speak. Unless they find her first. Something she's not ready for.

Lia fidgits a little in bed in the bed, her mind plaguing her with thoughts she doesn't want to think of right now. Eventually it's a little much (Even though in reality she didn't spend long there, Lia's just got no patience), and Lia resigns to finally getting up. Through a LOT of struggle, she manages to fight her sore body enough to get something on. She decides that regular clothes are a no no until she's at least had something to relax her muscles a bit, and pulls out something she was saving for an event like this. She'd never usually bother with something like this, but Lia's been more and more self-conscious about her appearance. Although it's just entirely in whatever she thinks Kaeda would like to see her in.
She pulls out and slips on a high-quality robe adorned with floral patterns of pink flowers. She's not sure how silly she may look in her own eyes, but this was only for days like today. Aka a day Lia's not getting up and out to train early as per normal. So robe it is! She decides to head out in the kitchen hearing Kaeda's voice from within. In the hall, conversing with Orpheus, is Scier, as happy as could be until she sees Lia still very damaged and floats over, distressed.
"Scier... it's fine, calm down."
Scier begins to glow but it's interrupted when Lia bops her on the head. She accusingly points a finger at the Chimecho.
"No! Bad Scier! Do not healing wish me just to make me feel better! It will literally knock you out and then you can't do that for a while. And what if we are in a situation we need that ability later today? Just... save it girl."
Scier begins to chime to argue that this 'is' a situation it's needed but Lia just bops her again.
"Seriously, I'm fine. I'm just not climbing a mountain anytime soon. And hey, Orpheus. I'll let you two get back to your conversation."
Scier, reluctantly, heads back over to the Gardevoir as Lia heads into the kitchen. Eve and Floyd, if either are there, see what Kaeda saw the night before. Although now the bruises have fully come in, her skin is blotched with a lot of purple and blue of many impacts of battle. She does NOT look like she won anything the day before. Exhausted by the effort of getting up and there in the first place, She leans on Kaeda's back and wraps her arms around her. She peeks around to Eve and Floyd.
"Mornin Peeps. What's happining?"

Orpheus smiles, waves to Lia, and does her best to diffuse Scier's fears. In the kitchen, Kaeda jumps a bit as she is hugged from behind. She then holds onto the set of arms, and raises an eye brow at Lia. "If you wanted out of bed, you should've asked. I don't want you hurting your-...." She feels the sleeves of the robe. "Where did you get this lovely thing?"

"I mean I was going to stay but I started thinking about uncomfortable things and didn't want to stay in bed and stuck with those thoughts. So I run... metaphorically... to my lovely lady and my friends."
But when Kaeda is distracted by the robe, Lia sneaks a kiss on the cheek.
"I got it a couple weeks before the boat trip but I haven't had a chance to use is as I usually just get up and train right away. Today's not that day."
Lia looks down at herself, becoming self-conscious all of a sudden.
"Why, is it too silly for me?"
