Wait, did Metal Lance drop from the game or something?

I personally didn't think we were separated for that long (I was actually going to rejoin the group once Max had finished his detective work, being a fashion mogul takes in-game time, y'know). I'd like to see Max still kicking as an NPC that we could run into later on. He and JoJo contrasted so much that they would make kick-ass rivals.

At Metal Lance's request, Max Press will not be returning as a rival.

Why would I go off on my own in the route? I mean, I guess I could write a post about naming the rattata, but I haven't figured out a name for it yet. If you want to keep us going at a decent pace, some more structure might be nice. Like, if instead of going to Viridian City for some sort of errand (something time sensitive so we couldn't sit around and lollygag), and then have one wild encounter with a bunch of mons along the way we wouldn't be waiting for other people to finish their fights. Then we could stop to go looking for trouble wild pokemon to catch in the neighboring routes if we really wanted to.

EDIT: Also, I have IRL stuff going on (several important college assignments, and I work on weekends, so expect less activity from me on weekends by default

With Gengar having not posted in almost a week, his character shall be temporarily absent from the game. He may return at any time, but for now Joylene is on her own.

Important Notice!

Due to unforeseen events, I am now implementing a posting requirement of once every 2 days. This will only be harshly enforced if the player in question is preventing the game from moving forward, or if the player disappears during combat. This is not enforced if the GM does not post when no other in-character events are happening.

Consequences

The consequences of not meeting the requirement? From this point forward, they shall be delivered as "Strikes".

Strike 1: Player has not met the posted requirement.

Consequence: Player is contacted via PM (or other requested method) informing them of this lapse in posting and a grace period of 3 days begins. During this time, the GM will NPC that user's character in order to move the game along. If, by the end of this grace period, the player has not made contact to request more time or has not posted again, a second Strike will be issued.

Strike 2: Player has not responded to initial PM or made a post during the grace period.

Consequence: The player will be contacted a second time, asking for an explanation for the absence. Replacement players will be sought, but not brought in.

Strike 3: Player has 2 Strikes.

Consequence: Player is removed from the game and replaced. Character will be written out. (Player in question can provide a write-out if they wish.)

You're right. I'll remove the "disappeared" clause, and just say that I will write them out. In related news, gengar seems to be unable to find the time to continue with this game, so Kyo To will be officially written out. You'll bump into him in Viridian, where he'll explain his disappearance.
