Needless to say, Terra couldn't help but gawk some at the power that was released when Ruin obliged her request. She hadn't seen another human use powers that weren't natural. The scene before her holding her in awe at the display, and the sounds that came from the ghostish lad. Then everything quickly came to an end with the hole folding in on itself and leaving her and Stag with a hopefully more manageable pokemon. "That is, something alright," she replies with a slow nod at her comrade's comment about the other. Though now wasn't the time to waste their chance to continue the assault. She draws a pokeball out to replace Lilly. Red beams swapping pokemon, the large blue winged force appearing with a loud landing. "We have to stay focused. Snips, smash it again! Queen, lets start things off with a nasty breath."The Nidoqueen nodded and gave a roar out at the mass of cords before spewing out her attack with a ferocity to join the battle. The Crustle followed orders as well, wanting this battle to be over soon. Not enjoying this situation in the slightest. Unfortunately the breath goes wide missing her target entirely. Instead leaving a mark against the wall behind it. "Get ready Stag, we need your help," Terra tells the taller seriously when she sees her pokemon miss. A frown on her lips at this turn of events. She wasn't planning on having Stag's party attack so soon. Attacks Queen uses Dragon Breath 1+1 vs 2AC OOF
Snips uses Rock Slide 14+1 vs 4 AC 48 Rock Physical Damage

"You heard Terra! Let loose!". Stag charges forward amidst the flailing tentacles, fireballs, water shurikens, multicolored beams of light and more tearing past her as she took hold of a flailing wire and cinched it with her armbands.
The monstrous creature retaliates in kind. Terra spares Stag and her team, using her ability to draw in lightning (I'm assuming). Shockingly, it doesn't hurt anymore. Not after what Ruin did.
Testily, it fires a pair of coruscating rainbow beams at the newcomer, as the current rolling through the floor begins to fade and the creature settles on the ground once more. Queen deftly evades both attacks.

It was incredible to watch Stag take lead in her own attack with the pokemon that were following her. Even having watched Chuck, the effort was impressive. If they got a chance, she'd have to introduce them. Not again! Terra attempts to intercept the lightning with the hammer, calling the blast to the handle an into her form. It tingles, as the energy is absorbed and used to power herself up. "...Better..." she states in a surprised but glad tone. "You alright?" she calls to the group. She really did owe Ruin for his help. "Its okay Queen, fortify, try again. Snips, out!" Terra orders. This leads to the dragon focusing herself, poisonous smog puffing out. Snips is withdrawn to his ball and Terra releases the Mantine onto the battle field. "Okay. This is not your element, but I need you to do your best okay?" she tells the pokemon. The large water pancake gives a warm smile while bobbing some. "Good, hit it with a Water Pulse! Stay close by."
The pokemon opens his mouth and sends out a blast of fluid at the electrical beast. Even though it was at a disadvantage, he was still willing to fight for his new trainer and friend. Moves: Queen uses Dragon Dance Terra uses her standard to switch pokemon Seacake uses Water Pulse! 6 vs 2AC 8, 1 Target, Aura 33 Water Special

"Yeah... Surprisingly.". Stag laughs and returns to the fray with the ragged bunch that had taken a shine to her. Terra's sea flapflap is a little too enthusiastic and misses, unfortunately. Xurkitree retaliates with a thunderbolt directed at the new offending creature and a signal beam at Queen. (7 vs 2 for 127 Electric Special on Manta, 111 Bug Special Vs. Queen.)

"Cake, watch out! Queen try again with Dragon Breath," Terra was attempting to keep her cool. However once the yellow light was shot towards the big goofy thing, she had to intervene. Feet moving her to take the blast straight on, she couldn't pull it to her like before. But that didn't mean she wasn't willing to protect her pokemon with her own body if she could. Queen takes the attack directed at her with barely a blink, looking rather annoyed she roars out, before attempting once more to hit the thing in front of her with a blast of breath. More determined to make her attack land this time around. "Use your Psybeam, don't get discouraged." Terra's voice states as she shakes off the attack. Mantine obliges with a happy sound since it had gone uninjured. However the beam goes super wide again. MOVES! Terra Intercepts Thunderbolt! Slup Seacake uses Psybeam 2+1 VS 2 AC A MISS!
Queen uses Dragon breath! 17+1 vs 2AC 44 Dragon Special

Cracks and splits begin forming in the mass that is the creatures head, rainbow colored light spilling out in auric waves through the room, Terra and Stag weather them fine, but her Pokemon are not so fortunate. (109 Bug Special to Cake, and 137 plus confusion to Queen, a Critical Hit.)

There is frustration starting to show some on the trainer's face as she sees that attacks are still missing. Especially as her own pokemon are being whittled down bit by bit by the different attack type. "Seacake, I need you to focus. Please. I know you can do this. Now hit that pile of cords!" Terra tells the flapping pokemon with a subdued growl. The Mantine attempts his best to focus onto the target. He could do this, right? Once more, this time while meaning it! A blast of water shooting forward. "Queen, don't attack, hold for now, prepare to go again soon," Terra instructs. Her pokemon can wait to attack after her, she needed to take a moment. The confused pokemon gives her own frustrated rumble in the back of her throat at not getting a chance to fight, however obeys. Claws clenching as she pauses in her assault. In the mean time, Terra once again attacks the floor with a yell, they wouldn't back down. Floor caving and crumbling about the Xurkitree. She can feel some sweat trickling down the side of her face from the intensity. Attacks!! Seacake uses Water Pulse! 10+1 vs 2AC 37 Water Special Damage
Terra uses Earth Power! 12+1 vs 2 AC 32 Ground Physical +5 after SFE calculation.
Confusion Save at end of turn: 14...Still confused.

Cake flaps excitedly, slapping those find together and firing a jet of water against the main body of the creature, pinning it to the wall. Putting as much oomph into it as she can, Terra causes an upward burst of power from the earth itself, and stag overhead smashes into the crystal.
With an unearthly wail, the crystal splits in a few more places, wires curling into claws scraping and clambering along the floor in a death throes, tearing up sheaves of hammered steel. Rooting itself, it explodes into a blazing column of coruscating light, melting through everything between it and the sky. Concrete shatters and tumbles, asphalt, and metals become molten slag in seconds.
A panicked sprint to the hallways, in the facility before the monster is all the girls can manage amidst crushing stone and burning metal. Stag has Thomas tucked under one arm and looks nervously back at the growing darkness and constant rumble of the collapse.

Terra couldn't hold back a powerful yell as she and Stag put their all into shattering this crystal 'head' of the creature. It wasn't completely satisfying as the thing fractured and began to come apart in its throes.
Then the light catches her off guard, eyes shutting tight and an arm shielding her face. The sounds of the building beginning to cave in downwards hitting her ears. Balls pulled from her belt, she returns her own pokemon so that they are out of harms way from the molten materials. She doesn't like this!
Terra follows closely by Stag's side, doing her best to keep her senses about herself. So that they wouldn't be buried in the collapsing basement levels. "Don't look back, focus on moving," she hisses out seriously. No time to do that, just move forward. They needed to get out, get out now.

The hallways and stairwells are a blur, pitched fighting on the upper levels of the facility gives way to panicked fleeing as Stag bellows for everyone to get to safety. It isn't until they are completely free of the underground, routing nearer the the bike shop, that they get a full view of the growing molten sinkhole in the middle of Goldenrod. That, and the pillar of light boring a hole into the sky.
And the things that free themselves from nothingness. Looking directly at the distortion causes some deep preternatural disquiet, but the tear is near enough that Terra can identify the things coming through.
Things like what she just killed, though far smaller. Thin star shaped objects with a metallic sheen. Lithe insect creatures in red and white. Purple bulbous monstrosities and blue and white blobs full of starlight. The largest of these, a tall metallic spire flanked by two long poles. A cube of some sort plummeted to the east, disappearing from sight as the unearthly shapes began to disperse.

Asides from making sure that Stag stayed by her side during their escape, Terra only focused on getting out of the building. It wasn't until they reached fresh air and left the failing power of the underground did the girl stop. Leaning over hands settled on her knees, to catch her breath. Afterwards her gaze raises up to look at the other, until she notices the light beam piercing the clouds. Squinting at it with furrowed brows she stares with a bit of pain due to the brightness. The hell? What were those?!Where were they all going? These were too many questions to try and answer at once. She followed the most prominent shape as it vanished with her eyes.
Too much. Hands go to her face, fingers rubbing at eyelids as she brings her mind from the racing speed. Stop. First thing. A deep breath in, then out, and she looks around herself. Looking for not only Maven and her group of escapees, but also to see if the guard she met earlier had made it back.

The spire began to descend towards the city, the main body braced by the free floating limbs, each which generated tremendous jets of flame as it descended towards the crater. A man Terra recognized as Maxxie from an earlier encounter was moving to take up position on the rooftops. Whitney was with the local police and the guard Terra recognized, a few security supervisors, and the town's Joy.
The escapees are being ushered from the scene as are many others. The gym leader seems to be coordinating as best she can.

No, she really didn't want to continue this with how her team was at. However, Maxxie caught her attention. That meant no good would come from this. A frustrated sound made low in her throat.
A deep breath in and let out slow and long she glances between the groups of people and the Magma leader ascending the building. "I... have to try and stop whatever it is he's doing," she states. He was responsible for so much pain so far.
The question was how to get up there? Climb up one of the buildings?

Stag nodded her agreement. "I'm going to look after the others, and make sure Thomas gets patched up. Did his best even if he got hurt for it.". She claps a hand on Terra's shoulder and gives it a squeeze. "Power to spare. It's nice to see for a change.". She gave the smaller girl a crooked smile. "Come back safe. I want my title back, fair and square."
Terra finds a fire escape along the back side of the building and scales it with intent. Partway up the metal ladders and stairs the building itself lurches, the earth shaking, and around the hole in the sky the clouds burn away until all of Goldenrod is bathed in a scorching radiance. Making it to the roof, a massive saurian now fills the pit burned up from the lab, molten runes glowing along it's sides.
It's mouth gapes wide and it roars challenge to the descending creature. Maxxie's back remains to Terra.
Desolate Land is in Effect.

"...Thanks, I appreciate it," Terra said, there is a small tone of relief at some of her burdening thoughts lifted by Stag's words of looking after the others. The clap at first made the other shift forward a step before catching herself with a better form. "Of course, can't let you get that back any other way," she replies about the title with a few chuckles. "Too easy, you know.
Up, up, up. Like a determined Mankey. Hands gripping tightly to the metal at the sudden motion of the building. Mind focusing on not letting go or being thrown from the structure. Then continuing her way towards the goal. Arms lifting herself up and out of the fire escape, she feels a hatred roaring to life in the pit of her belly seeing Maxxie's back.
There was a stretch of time before the runes caught her gaze past him. Then she takes in the large shape. This, was his fault too! Such heat that was hard to bear. She doesn't announce her presence. A hard glare stays on the girl's face, silence, then she charges forward. All intent to tackle the older man with full force of her body to catch him off guard even.

In her eagerness, Terra's steps were either too swift or too heavy, for Maxie managed to slip her initial lunge, his attention remaining on the towering creatures now deadlocked before him. Pushing his glasses up with his pointer finger, he let out a frustrated sigh.
"Whatever grudge or existential crisis you are so set on beating an understanding of into me is going to have to wait. I do not have time to play with children. These creatures must be contained or destroyed immediately before they start reproducing or taking in the local fauna!"
Maxie does not move to do more then release the massive camel-creature Terra had spotted him with previously, and a massive spiked tortoise. He then returns to clutching a stone ring round his forearm.

The annoyance shows on Terra's face at the audacity of him taking that tone with her. "Oh don't worry. We are definitely doing some 'talking' after this. If we don't die," she tells him growling at being told that they need to stop these multiple creatures. "I am not prepared for this, and that's your fault," she adds opening a pokeball, releasing the Mantine before hopping up onto his back. This was completely new to her, however she managed to keep herself steady fairly easy. Straddling the wide pokemon in a kneeling manner.
"And how do you suggest we take these things out?" she asks looking out over the numbers before them. She didn't trust him, however it was hard to ignore the danger that was in front of them. "Go for the big one?" she follows up. She had a second ball in hand, waiting to release it once there was a clearer plan made clear to her.

"I fully intend to submit myself to authorities and explain the nature of what has happened when this matter is dealt with.". Maxie answers cooly. "As this one has descended upon a population center, dealing with it would absolutely be in our best interests.". The long trunk structures bind to the creature's torso and lodge against the ground.
Terra goes first.

Terra was not at the most confident, a big disadvantage due to her team. She wasn't going not do anything though. That wouldn't do anything to help protect those that she knew. "Lets get in there Seacake," she orders pointing at the massive pokemon. Her new mount giving a small bounce before flying through the air. The experience has Terra clinging to the sides of the wide mon for a moment before adjusting to the sensation of being in the air. From the building bringing his trainer closer. Second pokeball thrown upwards in the sky, to release her second pokemon. "Clang! Hit it with your claws and hold on tight!" The metal dragon appears in a flash, spinning his body, claws shimmering before going to search for making handholds for himself. The human bringing her arm back before slamming it forward to attempt to make the first attack. A little wobble as she stays atop the Mantine. "Alright, you're turn... Psybeam!" she told him. She had no idea what would work, only way to find out was by doing something! Seacake obliges in the attempt concentrating before sending a blast of energy at the towering creature. Fight begins! Rolls (very bad) Clang uses Dragon Claw! 3+1 vs 2AC 42 Dragon Physical Damage
Terra uses Close Combat 5 vs 2 AC 40 Fighting Physical Lower the user’s Defense and Special Defense by -1 CS each after damage.

Terra's attacks glance off of the towering creature's shell, Maxie ordering Groudon to use 'Precipice Blades', ragged strips of cliffside ripping up out of the hole around the creature where it has attempted to root itself, but to everyone's surprise, the stalk-like limbs ignite and lift it free of the hole and away from the attack despite the things incredible bulk. It lets out a metallic screech, which leaves a lingering sense of emotional unease and dizziness, the sound heard throughout Goldenrod.
(Celesteela uses Iron Defense, Celesteela uses Metal Sound, Allies SpDef lowered 2 CS. Celesteela appears to be immune to Ground Moves.)
