That was not what she was hoping for, especially with the big red pokemon failing to grab a hold of the enemy. Hands going to cup her ears at the sound from the Celesteela, her vision blurring a bit at the disruption of her balance. She'd give it one more go, if for nothing else to buy the others some time to get further away. The uselessness of her and the pokemons' round of attacks had been discouraging to put it lightly. "Let's go again guys, give it more oomph this time!" Terra demands in a firm tone, not quite giving up on the attempt. Clang who had almost fallen from the beast when it rocketed away from the ground took a moment to steady himself and get his head straight. Claws flexing as he took another try. Seacake would puff up and slam one of the wings into the metal being. "C'mon Terra, pull it together, you've worked with less," she mutters with a distaste at herself. Body twisting to smash an elbow against the metal hide, however she once again whiffs her own attack. If worse came to worse, she would have to retreat though. That was something she hated the idea of, in fact still arguing with herself about whether that should be an option. Roll Time Baby! Clang uses Dragon Claw! Nat 20! vs 2 AC 56 Dragon Physical
Seacake uses Air Slash! 14+1 vs 3 AC 38 Flying Special Air Slash Flinches the target on 15+.

There is some definite scarring along the surface of the monster as Terra's attacks begin with to land in earnest. It isn't invincible, that was a good sign at least.
Celesteela appears to be resistant to flying and dragon type moves.
"All three of you, fire blast!". The conflagration backed by the swealtering heat is a sight to behold, and the explosion sends the Celesteela staggering from the air again, crushing the bicycle shop in the process. The creature's arms plant themselves firmly as it rights itself, a massive shockwave leveling buildings in a three block radius. Maxie's two Pokemon don't survive the onslaught, falling with rubble and debris into the pit beneath goldenrod. He remains by virtue of Groudon's intervention. Even with that, the Pokemon seems to draw strength from the fallen.

Whilst the attacks weren't as impactful as Maxie's, it was still something. Seacake flapped those large fins to readjust their positioning as the Celesteela began to fall until it caught itself. Terra's hands holding onto the pokemon firmly. A look back reveals to Terra that Maxie barely made it out of the collapsing building after dealing such a strong blast. That was not comforting, however she didn't retreat just yet. A new set of orders given to her pokemon. Seacake then goes with another attempt at his first attack, shooting a blast of water towards the towering creature. Whilst Clang brings another strike upon the pokemon he was standing on after righting himself on the metallic 'skin'. A little longer of distracting at least. Arm slinging out, another try at landing her own hit against the beast. The need to land at least one attack really came through in this one, elbow slamming down against the opponent. Terra's Pokemon attacks continue to be not very effective but her own blow against the rapidly heated and cooling metallic body is substantial, folding and creasing the otherwise flawless surface. Both of its peripheral limbs rise and begin to spin in place, before firing seeds in a long loud volley, each projectile easily the size of a football. (Leech Seed missed.)

The solid dent that she managed to make was a slight boost to her confidence. A thought crosses her mind, this was a risky move, but could help in the long run. Two pokeballs in hand, she recalls Clang from the steel beam's back to replace his place in battle with Snips. "Let's try to knock it down!" she states seriously. "Keep it up Seacake. Try to hit it with a Bounce!"
The Mantine shoots up some, before bringing himself down to hopefully slam his belly down. Snips looks nervous at being this high up and upon the metal surface. Its only when he hears Terra's voice that he looks to her with a bewildered expression before following her order. That happy creature from the sea made quite a sound of its body meeting the metal. Whilst the slightly panicked bug closed his eyes while forcing rocks to smash the being. "Hey, hopefully this can help!" Terra yells out to Maxie. Maybe it'll make the big red one more useful. Rolls Time Baby! Terra uses her standard to switch Clang for Snips. Seacake uses Bounce! 15+1 vs 4 AC 33 Flying Physical The user first Shifts, gaining a +1 Bonus to Movement Speed and to their Jump Capabilities. After the user Shifts, they may attack with Bounce. The target is Paralyzed on 16+, and becomes Vulnerable until the end of its next turn
Snips uses Smack Down! 13+1 vs 2 AC 41 Physical Rock The target is knocked down to ground level, and loses all Sky or Levitate Speeds for 3 turns. During this time, they may be hit by Ground-Type Moves even if normally immune.

There is a satisfying 'Spak' as Sea Pancake belly flops against the steel, and a frightened screech from the tower of steel as it plummets from the air onto another wave of ragged cliff shards, these rending holes into the Pokemon's body, shearing material free, ribbons of it falling below as the Pokemon wails in protest. One massive limb fires a volley of seeds into Pancake, and the other rolls a stream of fire across snips.
The body itself attepts to smadh it's head into the shorter Groudon, but the saurian stops it short with with its claws and a challenging bellow.

The majestic flyer made a sound of pain once he had taken the attack from the steel towering pokemon. However he was stil holding on. Terra giving the Mantine a supportive pat. "Hang in there a little longer. Gimme one more round, and we'll pull back."
Seacake gives an affirmative bob in the air, one more. He could do that he thought. Terra focuses her mind, now that the foe was grounded, she could do more than just moments ago. "Let's go! Snips, jump and Rock Slide."
Snips riles itself up before making the effort to jump from Celesteela while summoning rocks to come from the rubble about them, to then be caught by the beam of his pokeball. To safety, at least his safety! With Snips out of trouble, she then has the chance to force the ground to come up around the enemy. "Alright, now pull back! And use Air Slash with the distance." Terra had her pokemon move away from the invader before attacking. Some distance between them, so that they could work towards a retreat. Rolls which were bad

Terra used Earth Power! 7 vs 2 AC 23 Ground Special

Attacks continued to batter the massive shell of the creature as it struggled to regain it airborne advantage, Groudon committing to a massive forward swing, a ridge of stone erupting with the motion ahead of the strike, impaling Celesteela, and splitting Goldenrod in half, a spired ridge ahead of the blow and an ocean water filled fissure behind it.
The Pokemon releases a metallic wail, limbs dropping weakly alongside it, greenish fluid spilling from it's body. Dying.

The Mantine makes a wide girth, avoiding the rubble shooting up and through the metal frame and body of the pokemon. The sound had both rider and pokemon wince as it reached their ears. A moment needed to gain their senses. A slow grimace appearing as the fluid pours from the wounds. With the opponent no longer putting up the fierce fight, Seacake takes a while to find a spot near Maxie to land. Slow deep flaps stabilizing itself so that there was no chance of his trainer falling off.
Terra dismounting while rubbing the top of his back. "Thank you," she speaks to her battle partner, before turning her attention to Maxie. "What about all those smaller ones?" she asks him. They got the big one that was here. That didn't mean that she was prepared to fight all the other ones that they had seen appear prior. Not to mention she hadn't even seen where all they had gone to due to the battle.

"They will need to be hunted down and either returned to Ultra space or... disposed of.". Groudon set the dirtied, disheveled man on the unbroken sidewalk, before fetching the Pokemon that had fallen into the pit. With an air of defeat, Maxie recalled the titanic legendary, and the others. He straightens his coat but makes no move to flee the approaching authorities.
"I can't justify my actions. I only hope when the time comes, you will permit me to correct my mistakes.". Maxie adjusted his glasses, chin resting on his chest as he watched the pavement begin to cool in the dimming sunlight.

It was once all of Maxie's pokemon were returned that Terra recalled Seacake. She still had many different emotions and instincts inside her currently. Which one should she express? That was a hard question. The beginning of a sneer pulling at her lips as she debated taking it all out on the other. Fist clenching, before deciding on her choice for the time being.
"Actions, yeah, that's one way of putting it," she comments with a frustrated strain as she moves behind him and gives him an aggressive shove forward. They were going to have to catch up with the others. At a safer location. Goldenrod was, well put it frankly, a disaster zone now. She didn't trust the man to be anywhere else except where she could watch him. "Keep your hands behind you, where I can see them," she instructs. She was furious, confused in some ways, and exhausted in more than just physically. "Don't know how you plan to 'correct' those 'mistakes'... But I guess they'll see about that." She mutters to herself.

In the background several officers flanked a gray haired older man in a white coat, and Goldenrod's joy as they examined the creature. Despite it's mortal injuries, it continues to moan and writhe, guttering lights igniting at the tips of its limbs now and then.
Maxie waits quietly as he is cuffed and lead away. Terra spots Stag talking with Shiv and some of the other Awoken nearby. Thomas is being seen to by a Chansey at a small field hospital that has been set up on location. The guard she worked with to access Magma's base is answering questions, surrounded by people with lights and boxes with glass in them.

Once Maxie is taken into custody, she watches him taken away until he was out of sight. Fists slowly tensing and relaxing, then she was able to get a better look around herself. At all that was happening.
The crowd around the guard that she had helped earlier, too many people. She did not have energy to try and handle... whatever all of that was. A shake of her head, before glancing between the other two options. Deciding to let Thomas be treated in peace, she moved to where Stag was.
"Stag!" Terra calls out while approaching the group. There is a noticeable fatigue in her movements, shoulders slumping back some. "Did everyone make it here alright?" she asks giving the other a once over from where she stood and looking at the ones that were also around the taller. As alright as one escaping collapsing underground and a giant unknown being wrecking havoc in the city could be.

"Guess there was some resistance from Magma but Shiv trusts my word over some loner.". Stag waves it off. "They cleared out before the wire monster punched a hole in the sky. Anyway, this is Shiv, Vibe, and Priss." Stag introduced the short girl with aggressively spiky hair, sharp predatory eyes, and pair of curved knives tucked into a heavy duty belt. Her palms remained on the handles in a comfortable posture. When she moved to offer Terra a hand, the knife came out, held in a curl back towards her, such that she could take a wrist if she wanted, safely.
"Stag made it clear you are the reason the hive is still breathing.". Shiv stated firmly. There might be an undercurrent of thanks to it, or that could be projection. The darker skinned girl wasn't saying.
Vibe wore a lot of earth tones, seemed to prefer a pair of wrap-around glasses with individual facets breaking their vision into smaller pieces in a shade of red. A green capelet with black and red markings hung down his back, and he was tall and thin. He seemed to prefer not wearing shoes. "I wouldn't have minded being buried, but Shiv gets very aggressive when she's stuck.
"That's how you get loose!". Shiv snapped.
Despite the fading heat from Groudon's presence, Priss wears a heavy, fluffy coat, scarf and hat all in a pristine shade of blue-white. Her skin is very pale, and she has striking blue eyes. She takes in Terra's state, sweaty, dirty, bloody, exhausted. She takes a slight step backward, discomfort on her face. She had been physically distant from the others before, but it is more pronounced now.
"Thank you." She states just loud enough to be heard.

While listening, Terra sets the head of the hammer on the ground, a quiet heavy sound being produced as it touches down, so that she can lean against the handle somewhat for support. It was good to be still for a while. Still managing to stand upright mostly, she watches as Shiv's hand is extended out to her with an appreciation of the smoothness of her weapon. "Couldn't let them keep doing what they were," Terra states with a nod at the possible unspoken 'thanks'. One hand reaching out, slipping about the wrist and giving a shake.
Releasing her afterwards she takes a few seconds each to take in the appearance of the other two hive members that were introduced. An unspoken appreciation at seeing the shoeless one. Unfortunately when she hadn't been allowed to go barefoot herself by those who had looked after her.
There was a pause noting the withdraw from her, Terra didn't pursue, partially because she didn't want to move. Though it did give her time to reflect on her condition. Yeah, can't say she could blame Priss with how she must have looked, though she did tell her 'Don't mention it' in return for the spoken thanks. "Do you know if the PokeCenter survived?" she asked looking between the three. She seemed to continue ending up in situations where she actually craved a shower. A bit funny if you think about it.

"The human dressed in Pink had mentioned a hotel on the north end of town. We permitted the other nests to go with them for treatment, and to rest. They seem concerned with too many bodies in one space.". Shiv answered succinctly.
"A nest is usually five, but we're the best in the colony, so we make due with less.". Stag explained to Terra. "You want to tag along for a bit? Eat, wash, rest. Maybe crack some heads if anyone decides to get funny with us now that we're out?"

That made sense after hearing it aloud. Overall, Terra herself wasn't too worse for wear in terms of injuries. Just the exhaustion from the fights that she went through. Seemed like the best place for her to go too in that case.
Mentions of groups of five it was clear to see that she still wasn't too used to that concept, but at the offer to get out of the area and have more than a minute to catch her breath. She looked relieved some. "Can't see a reason to say no to that," she replies with a bit of a laugh at the last bit of knocking heads. She could probably still hold her own in more than one fight, didn't mean she wanted to be looking for it! Hopefully after the whole event that just happened, most folks will be too busy with themselves.

The hotel was a blessedly short walk. To Terra's relief the place featured a healing machine that was in service by the local Joy, the center now structurally unsound. Security was heavy on location as it lacked the secure storage the center did. There was a sizeable line for triage, so the better option seemed to be 'sleep it off'.
Vibe hummed appreciably as soon as the group reached carpet. There was a brief scuffle about Shiv's weapons, but the girl announced very loudly that 'after the day I've had you will take these over my dead body', authorities thought better of it and cautioned her to keep them sheathed in public spaces.
Priss was delighted on the return to the room, with the air conditioning cranked up, and fresh clean linens. Every surface neatly wiped down. She sprawled on one of the two beds.
"Not a bad day... Sucks about Ruin, but we came through it alright. You want first crack at the shower? Priss won't let you hear the end of it if you get on a bed without washing up first."
There's a small 'hmph' from the facedown girl.

The short distance was a solace to the girl. As they entered she saw the amounts of those in need. While she had managed well enough, her pokemon were definitely not as lucky, and needed some healing. She didn't want to deal with that many people and waiting. Probably wouldn't ease anyone's nerves with her appearance. If Priss' initial reaction was something to go off of.
Terra would carry her own weapon through the lobby, not as vicious in reaction, just as set on not allowing it to be taken from her. Once they were in a more private setting, the hammer is set down with a sigh, allowing it to lean against the wall.
The mention of Ruin had a difficult expression to read, it did leave a sour feeling in her stomach of what happened. Though that thought faded for a moment when questioned. Shower? "Yeah, that sounds good." She replies with a short nod.
Once in the bathroom, Terra spends a long time showering. Not just washing the grime off of herself but trying to sort some of the craziness. Finally she did emerge, looking completely different now that she was clean and didn't reek of after battle. A spare set of clothes swapped on. Not nearly as terrifying, especially once she moved to the free bed. Almost collapsing into a sitting position on the edge, letting her legs rest. "Thanks. This is... better," she tells them.

Shiv has moved to the small sofa and was watching some sort of program about dance? From the way her eyes darted the high activity was really keeping her attention. Priss and Vibe had settled on the other bed, the former watching the program with a whimsical romanticism and the latter just seeming comfortable to be there.
Stag cast her a sideways glance. "This show sucks, but I got outvoted.". Sprawled out on the other half of the bed, arms folded under her head, she seemed content. "Kinda neat what it does to Shiv though. Hey Shiv, building's on fire."
"Uh-huh.". The girl replied distractedly. Priss looked around expectently then shushed stag with a dirty look. The muscular girl rolled her eyes and chuckled. "Hey, Terra, food or sleep first,?"
