There was indeed no reception on the dex. So a pox on that idea! But she looks to the stone, the only thing here, and picks it up. It then... takes off! As in, flies out of her hands into space!
But as it reaches the inky black, once out of sight, the planet starts moving as if turned on. It rotates, alone in space. And that's when Stella starts to see the other side. Almost right down the middle of the planet, it's split between red sands and what looks like grey rock. It slowly rotates in her vision, as the Sun Stone comes back, and floats in front of her. Almost inviting her to grab it...

Hmm. Stella twisted and turned and lifted the dex towards the skies but still no signal. Hmm. Maybe ... Maybe it could take a picture? Worth a shot ...
After that she looks up at the skies again. That planet sure looked odd. She tilted her head to the side and put a finger to her cheek to think better. Yes. Odd like those strange grafts of land?
And the Sun Stone came flying back! She didn't know they could fly in the first place... But oh! It was rude to decline an invitation. So she stuffed her pokédex back someplace safe and reached out to grab a hold of the rock again.

She grabs on, and she finds that the sun stone 'grows' around her hand as the misty floor vanishes, leaving her in the darkness of space. Suddenly, they are flying toward the planet, but Stella feels no movement from the stone or her. Almost as if the universe is moving everything 'to' her. How nice!
She gets closer to the red side of the planet, and she starts to see grand cities. They look nothing like the cities she's used to. Seemingly made out of all marble, but streams of light connect the buildings, seemingly forming bridges and roads in the air.
But... as she gets closer, she notices that all is not well. There's sounds of explosions all throughout the city. Sounds of fighting. Fires start popping up in her vision. Once she is close enough, she sees figures, although... they are fuzzy. She can make out basic shapes, like 'that's an adult-sized figure' or 'that's a child-sized figure', but can't really see anything beyond that. But, she's getting general emotions from them. And most of them she sees are terrified. Either in a panicked way, or in a defeated way. She does notice figures she recognizes though! Pokemon! In fact, she sees Solrocks, Lunatones, and occasionally even a Clefairy.
Hmmm.
She lands with her Sun Stone, but nobody seems to notice. At that point the stone 'lets go' and then starts floating toward a huge building at the middle of the city. It stops, and turns as if to say 'you coming?'

Wow... Stella watched in awe as she soared through space. So strange. So ... comfortable. And the planet was even more beautiful with it's beams of light and cities.
But... She frowned. That wasn't good. Oh no! Worried she watched as things seemed to fall to pieces around her. She tried to reach out for the ones close. Hmhm. Wasn't quite sure if she was actually here or not.
Looking up she noticed her rock friend was starting to move and she followed. Walking was easy and nice here too, despite the mayhem. She skipped and jumped to keep pace and yes she was coming with it!

She's able to touch things but it feels... strange. Like it's distant and yet too close. Walking after the stone helps her forget that feeling though.
Stella continues to follow the stone toward the huge building. As the stone floats and she walks, she sees new figures. These seem to be holding something... still fuzzy, but she can feel their emotion and she can guess by the shape it's some sort of weapon that fires. These figures are different combinations of angry, nervous, and sadistic. But every single one of them practically bleeds a zealous feeling. They are doing this for a singular purpose. They chase after the people in the streets, but thankfully don't seem to notice her or the stone.
They continue, finally reaching the building. When reaching the door, it 'turns' to Stella. It blinks, and she gets a message in her head. Well... more of a concept than real words. The concept that behind these doors opens up something once sealed, but contains truth. But the stone realizes ignorance can be bliss. It has given her a taste of what's happening, and Stella has the strangest sense she knows this place... So the choice is opening the door, or leaving it closed and leaving this place.
The second, is a choice of power. Power in a new friend... or in Stella herself, if she so wishes.
A. Stella gains a alt-colored Solrock (A deep almost blood red) that matches her pokemon's highest level, with nature, abilities of her choice. Included will be a Solonite and a Mega Item capable of using it. Yes, that's right, a mega Solrock.
B. Stella gains a 'Solrock' form (We can hash out how exactly this would look but I was thinking a shining light coming from her with the floating pointy rocks circling her). In this form she gains access to certain Solrock moves and powers when she turns it on.

Stella grimaces and starts to feel worried again when the new things arrive. No! This wasn't good. She didn't like them. Stop! But ... She wasn't there. Or they weren't. With a growing ball of sadness she watched as they chased the other people.
Finally she finds herself just outside the doors. She turns her head and looks back to the strange scenes behind her, pondering the message. It was scary. But would she ever feel right knowing that she had rejected truth? No. Turning back to the rock and door she holds out her hand for A Friend.

The stone accepts this answer, and then it shines bright, and the light divides into two spheres. One lands on Stella's chest, and the light loops around her neck, forming a chain. Stella's got a necklace! As that light fades on the end of the necklace, there's a highly detailed ornamental sun, with what looks like the Mega-evolution symbol as a planet orbiting it. She's got a Mega necklace! The other light forms into a shape next to her, and when it fades, it's a Solrock! And this one is got a very distinct color. What was usually orange on the sphere is now an almost blood-red, and each pointy 'flare' piece is now rock-brown, but there seems to be a glowing almost lava-like color on the end of each one. Despite it's more fearsome appearance, it turns in surprise when it suddenly 'exists' and sees Stella, and floats a 'step' back, waiting to see what she'll do. Again, matches her pokemon's highest level, with nature, abilities of her choice. also has +1 to all stats.
Mega Form - Glowing cracks appear along Solrock's face, and each of the rock-like flares take on a more volcano like appearance, and vent heat and fire. Gains homebrew ability: Volcanic Surface. (Once per scene, upon successfully landing an attack the user gets STAB from, treat that attack as if it was fire-type instead of it's original typing)

Stella reaches out to touch the Solrock - was it real? It seemed much realer. Nod. She smiled at it then turned to the door with determination. Taking a step forward she tried to push the doors open and face what was inside.

The door opens, and there's a great chamber inside. Stella and her new friend enter, and they see two fuzzy figures facing off against an angry other fuzzy figure. They are having a confrontation in front of what look like two pods. Each side seems to be holding a small wrapped up bundle, and both are moving!
She can't understand what a lot of either side are saying but... 'some' words do make their way through. The two figures on her left seem to be trying to get the bundle inside one of the pods. And the angry figure seems to want to stop them.
"...can't do this...won't let you..."
"...that MONSTER can't leave this..."
The angry figure throws out an arm, as if to call upon something behind it, and two winged figures show up, wrapped in darkness.
"...creation will repeat what's about to happen... these two already..."
It holds up the bundle.
"And this one will conquer the stars!"
"This stops now!"
The main figure of the two throws out a Solrock, and it starts fighting the flying monsters while the other figure moves to the pod. Some sort of strange and desperate pokemon battling is happening right now, but Stella doesn't seem to get to see how it ended. Her necklace glows as her new friend is de-summoned into a stone pokeball with runes on it, and it flies to her pokemon belt. The necklace lifts Stella off her feet, and she finds the large building being ripped away. Once again, as if she's the only static thing in the universe. The building flies away, and then the city... and it's not long before she's in space once more.
And then... that's when she hears a massive crunch, as the planet she's looking at cracks. Huge city-wide fissures nearly tear the planet to pieces, and then rising from the fissures are mega volcanoes that SPEW lava across the surface, engulfing everything in their place. The planet spins slowly... in pain... breaking... and then her view of space fades...
But not before her necklace shines in the distance, and they zoom in a bit, and see the two pods she saw in that room, now flying into the distance for unknown lands.
And then everything goes to black...

*Gasp!* Stella shudders as the strange planet she had just visited broke down before her eyes. And oh oh all the fuzzy lights! Even the mean ones ... Oh no. She held her necklace tight for solace. What had she seen? And why? Who were those fuzzballs really? So many questions ...

As the lights turn on, two pokemon pop out! A Wartortle and a Charmeleon... wearing what look like some sort of brass goggles? They look at you and then eachother, wink and seemingly attack each other! But the attacks connect in mid-air and suddenly the room is filled with steam! They flick their goggles down and then team SCIENCE suddenly notice it's harder to see. Ruh roh.

"!" Oh no! First it was dark and hard to see and now it was steamy and hard to see! Ahh! Stella grabbed a hold of Science Ladys hand so they wouldn't get separated and she'd have to yell. Then she sent out Deimos the Flaaffy!

Ouf! Not a great start being chomped. But Deimos had some tricks up his fluff. Static!! Take that! Charmeleon is Paralyzed.
The Flaaffy takes a step back and, upon seeing Stella's insistent pointing, Thunder Shocks the Wartortle!

Hipparchia makes a squonk of mild distress as the water hits. Seeing as Deimos is attacking the turtle that hit her, she decides to repay the favor and sends sleepy-rays towards the Charmeleon.
Hypnosis vs Charmeleon; can't miss thanks to Hypnotic

Hipparchia closes her eyes and starts to hum pleasantly. Slacking off mid-fight? No; she's visualizing her enemy's demise in her mind's eye.

The Wartortle throws up a shield, keeping it alive for another round! The Charmeleon goes for the floating pokemon that put it asleep. Wartortle uses Protect!
Charmeleon uses Prime Fury and becomes Enraged!
