Honedge supposes it isn't likely to receive a better offer than that. No others before Skye have been worthy, and it is just as likely that, should Skye deign to leave it here instead of taking it with, it would not find any others as worthy. Skye is not truly worthy yet, but she has her chance to prove said worth. Plus, it gets to do battle again. That's always nice.

The following day, Skye is up bright and early. She gets ready for the day and heads out, chatty paparazzi in tow. They keep just enough distance to allow Skye to approach Wild Pokemon when she wants, but not so far they can't step in to aid her should it become necessary.
Speaking of Wild Pokemon...Skye finds a small, grey cat-like Pokemon with folded ears sitting on a bench, eyes widely staring at the world around it.

The Fennekin fire off Embers in rapid succession, staggering their shots so that Eevee has as little time to recover from each as possible while making it harder to dodge.

The Fennekin clearly weren't expecting the weird human-Pokemon hybrid to suddenly leap into the fray. Nor to hit so hard. That said, the Fennekin remains on its feet. The trio assume their triangular fighting formation and blast Skye with as much fire as they can.

Still enraged at her Eevee's fainting, Skye unleashes the full fury of a dragon on the Fennekin! The orb on her tail begins to glows and when that glow is at its brightest, she flicks her tail towards the Fennekin, sending a tornado their way!
Skye used Twister on all three Fennekin!

Fennekin #1 is defeated and sent flying out of its formation by the gusting winds. When the twister dies down, the remaining two Fennekin are slightly battered, but still ready to fight. Despite their 3rd member being missing, they seamlessly assume their normal battle positions and fire another barrage of Embers.
