That's a fairly powerful attack! Kind of futile against a Grass-type as tough as Lambda is, but a good attempt nonetheless. Lambda slashes at the fish with her wings.

Leader Nekura greets her politely, as before. "Welcome back, Shiba-san. How many Pokemon would you like to use this time?"

Nekura proves to be just out of reach of the attack, but Sandshrew is blasted. It manages to curl into a ball just in time to take the hit. (Quick Curl)
Nekura quickly swaps it out for a new Pokemon. (Quick Switch - 2 AP) This new Pokemon is not one of the ones she used in the previous fight. It looks like some weird lump of sand with a small shovel sticking out of it. It quickly pulls itself into its natural shape.
Sandygast - 2 (Does not act this turn due to Sandshrew's Quick Curl)
Nekura then leaps into the fray herself and slams the ground with her staff, creating a shockwave much like her Sandshrew did earlier.

Clamperl makes a little whimpering sound at the repeated onslaughts, but pulls herself together enough to send a dizzying spray of water at Nekura... which wraps around her rather than simply falling away!
Mayu isn't sure exactly what the new Pokemon is, but she's fairly sure the solution is to blast it with ice. Then she moves away from Clamperl, to avoid letting the Gym leader catch them both in her blast radius again.

Mayu taps out, releasing Lambda to take her place. Clamperl lets out a squeak of disappointment at the near miss and turns to spray the sandcastle Pokemon instead. Maybe it'll be an easier target?
