Lambda rears back and does her best to stomp the human! Clamperl shuts its shell tightly against the attack... then peeks out to spray more water. Unfortunately, this opens it up just enough to let the sand in, and with a meep she snaps the shell firmly shut again. Mayu sends Alpha out to flank Nekura; he takes that opportunity to hit her from behind.

Alpha was born ready for this. He catches the staff the same way he did the last time they fought, but this time twists it to send Nekura crashing to the ground.
Alpha uses Counter - resists Drill Run, Nekura loses 46 hp.

Diglett may not be very hearty, but its Rindo berry gives it just enough protection from the leaves to stay in the game a little longer.

Rhyhorn's Passho berry prevents it from being too badly hurt, but it is still easily taken out by the sniping fish. Gible is surprised that Rhyhorn is already gone. Nonetheless, it focuses its attention on the new threat. Nekura sends out her sixth Pokemon, a Wooper! Wooper sprays Alpha with some tasty water. How d'you like it?!

Alpha staggers, but stubbornly remains standing between himself and his ally. He can take one last attack, if nothing else. Epsilon narrows his eyes at the newcomer. A rival fish! Spraying them with water doesn't usually bother them much, but that's fine. He has a plan for that. His eyes glow purple before emitting a beam of energy.
