She laughs, gives May another kiss, and gets up.
"You better! I'm taking your cute ass back with me! And I'll ask about your ID in there while I'm at it."
She decides that it's best if she just put her slimy clothes back on, and heads back to that little nearby river and douses herself, as well as the muddy clothes. She then heads to 'another' safe area to change. Save for a random ditto girl dropping on her this time, she changes to another 'dry' pair and wrings out her others to try drying them out as best she can and puts them away before finally heading to the Safari Zone! At this point she still needs to find something, but if the whole zone becomes a wash that's ok. She has May now!

It turns out that, no, nobody turned in a lost ID of any kind to the Safari Zone desk. They would have sent it on to Cianwood's Pokemon Center anyway. Once that's out of the way, Victoria buys her Safari Game and heads on inside!

Victoria heads for the Forest biome for now. A bit mundane but forests in Johto weren't producing a good flying mount, so here we go!

Victoria finds... a rock. Chucking/kicking it into the woods with a huff elicits a pained 'Psy!' from further away. Woops. Guess she somehow managed to perfectly nail an unlucky Psyduck.

And that’s that! Her time is up! She goes to head out of the Safari zone with the intention of heading back to find May. She knows her Gardevoir/human issue is there, but she’s gotta worry about getting one Pokémon human back to the mainland and once she lets her out of the ball she doesn’t intend to re-ball her if she has to.
