The dragon seems perturbed, though not as much as Blake would like, and lashes out with its long tail at Chlori, sending the Salazzle going skidding away, leaking energy a little bit. Blake misses with Confide.
Chlori takes 32 damage and an injury from Dragon Tail.

Casmere had run into a problem. Another one of his targets had dissipated, leaving him with nothing to strike. His foliage rustles as he dashes beside the water, getting closer to the last remaining dragon. Action: Sprint Shift to E3

Never mind haggard, Metio was on their metaphorical last leg. Thoron wasn't doing the best either, but that was mostly incidental. At Thoron's command, the Golem threw a sharp rock at the enemy. Thoron uses Commander's Voice to apply Focused and Brutal Orders to Metio.
Metio uses Stone Edge on Eternatus and disengages to E7. AC5 - pMLEjX9A1d20+2 DB12 - 3d12+43 Physical Rock 1d20+2·3d12+43

The rocks don't even seem to scratch the dragon's exterior, and it just ignores the attack as it moves around.
The scene ripples and changes once more, the cool flow of water and soft plants replaced by harsh heat and gritty surfaces - it feels really weird to stand on compared to all the flat metal surfaces around.

After taking the hit, Chlori moves around the extra-extradimensional dragon. The's no point in leaving to a long range, so she just circles it and keeps launching poison. Chlori moves to A11. Chlori uses Sludge Bomb on Eternatus! AC 2: 10 DB 11: 62 Special, Poison, resisted one stage less due to Corrosion

The thing hisses at the poison, but seems to take it mostly in stride. Though it does seem to throw off the attack it makes at Casmere enough for the Lurantis to only be grazed. Eternatus is hit by Sludge Bomb. Eternatus Disengages, and misses with Cross Poison.

The shifting scenery didn't leave Blake flat footed for long. He clears the gritty pile with ease and lands a precise blow on the besieged dragon Blake uses Splash as a shift to C8 and gains +2 evasion for a round Aerial Ace on Eternatus 40 Flying Physical Damage

The dragon roars with pain, as it begins leaking copious amounts of energy from its wounds. It lashes out once more at the target it was facing, seemingly hoping to take the Lurantis out with it. Breathing a torrent of fire over the pseudobug, its foe still stands... Blake hits with Aerial Ace. Casmere takes 37 damage from Flamethrower.

All the sand could have been a problem, if Metio needed to be mobile. Fortunately, all the Golem needed to do was hit the massive purple dragon. Thoron applies Focused Orders.
Metio uses Heavy Slam on Eternatus. AC2 - P5|a8bSo1d20+2 DB4 - 1d8+39 Physical Steel 1d20+2·1d8+39

Casmere shuffles to get a better angle on the giant dragon. Unfortunately the sand shifts beneath his feet, leaving his strike to go wide. Casmere shifts to D3 Casmere uses X-scissor on Eternatus AC 2 vs 1 43 Bug Physical Damage

As the others throw their attacks at the dragon, Silas moves in for a good angle. As soon as he sees an opening, he lands a ghostly blow directly into one of its dodges. Silas to J5. Silas uses Shadow Punch on Eternatus! DB 8: 58 Ghost Physical

The dragon lets out a final scream into the void as it evaporates, leaving an empty field at last. A quick glance up at the floating Eschaton shows it seemingly in concentration, the energy from the Pokémon that it summoned being drawn in, perhaps replenishing its reserves some. But, for the moment, at least, the creature's not attacking. There is a moment to rest. To recover. To prepare to strike, as the monster seems to begin to stir from concentration. You gain the benefits of a Scene change, as well as a chance to use any items you so choose.

Blake lets out a sigh of relief as the final defender poofs into energy. Of course one couldn't really relax when there was a giant bundle of energy hanging above their heads. "That went well, all things considered," He winces slightly, "Could have done without the singeing though. Think Cain will mind if we requisition a new coat after this? At this point it's getting to be more patchwork than the original." While Blake spends the time rambling to distract from the inevitable, Casmere takes a moment to reflect. The faux bug manages to pull in a small amount of the dissipating energy, perking up from his wilted state. Casmere uses Synthesis

Thoron had not so much to prepare. Against his expectations, Meteo had come out of the battle mostly intact. Which meant all Thoron needed to do was remember how these potions worked. "I think he could be persuaded to part with a coat.""Seems almost a shame to replace it, though. That coat has traveled further than anyone in Arcadia... Technically." Now wasn't really the time to wonder how much of their Technician supplies were synthesized by the Gates, or whether they would soon be headed to scarcity. One city-ending catastrophe at a time. Thoron uses 2 Hyper Potions, one for Metio and one for himself. Unless someone else could use a Hyper Potion (and/or Revive)?
Golem is recalled, and Luxray is sent out.

Silas gets to work fixing up himself and his Pokemon. The familiar work and idle conversation provide a welcome distraction from what has and is about to happen. "Can always fix it later. But hey, a dimension warper probably uses weird attacks. Might not even touch your coat." Or perhaps not much of a distraction. Silas uses a Hyper Potion on Chlori and himself.
Silas uses a revive on Sera, then a First Aid Kit for 36 healing.
Sera uses Heal Pulse on Catling.

The sand from the desert begins to sift away, leaving simply the empty floor of the Under, and some various metal debris from some projects long past. Ministrations are attended to, and then... the air ripples. a distortion is torn, and a claw is suddenly there. Where it was next to the floating creature a moment ago. It's followed by another hand, and another and yet more as the Technicians scatter from the clawing, until the main body of the beast emerges into the center of it all. The six rings that were around it seem to be tightly clamped as a bracelet to each arm, thrumming with purple electricity. The tension is palpable. The monster roars. And it comes time for the final battle. MapPlace yourselves and your Pokémon anywhere on the map.

Leaving the conversation about the cloak hang up for now. Blake steels himself with Casmere standing nearby. This was going to be much more difficult than he had anticipated. Time to see if his selection really had been a mistake. Blake(22) At N8
Casmere(15) At M7

What was one more strange and miraculous Pokemon to return to its origin? For the good of Arcadia, all that remained was to stop Eschaton... If this was Eschaton? Certainly, that sort of transformation was unprecedented... But now was no time to admire them! Thoron scrambled back to safety and set Lowe at the ready. Thoron at E4. Initiative 10 Lowe at F6. Initiative 25

As Eschaton claws its way into reality, Silas takes cover behind some debris. His injuries are starting to add up; he'll need to play this fight a bit safer than the previous one. Once more, Silas leads with raw force, the old creature that can give and receive hits with equal power. Silas starts at C17, initiative 5
Catling starts at G14-J17, initiative 5

As Eschaton and the Technicians settle on the battlefield, the oni flexes, and the rings pop off each of its arms. They float in the air as it gestures, before positioning themselves on the field, pointing towards one another, the holes illuminating with an eerie pink glow. Curiously, when viewed from the side the rings almost seem to vanish. Regardless, the energy gathering in the holes looks decidedly unpleasant to be near. At the start of each round, the rings will position in free spaces on the battlefield. They don't block line of sight, effect, or movement, and can't be damaged or affected in any way, nor can a creature end its turn in a space with a ring. At the end of the round, a line is drawn between each ring and the next higher numbered one (or ring 1 for ring 6). Everything under the line is automatically hit by Psychic.
