"Oh! I'm sorry! Should I have washed it first?" Ruby says apologetically. "Sorry about that, I really wanted to check out your nest. After all, it's important to keep your stuff as clean as possible." She says, puffing out her over-sized chest in a pristine white undershirt.

Obviously, dedicated cleaning supplies are much better at the job than Minccino's brush-like tail. It's still miffed at Ruby for putting that there in the first place though!

Minccino wiggles its tail at her, suggesting that it already has a perfectly good brush. In no time at all, it has finished cleaning up the jacket and the immediate area around its nest.

"Oh wow! Nice work!" Ruby says, admiring the Minccino's work before putting her jacket back on. "Man, what I wouldn't give to have you as a cleaner back home!"

Ruby, feeling disappointed after the Minccino refuses to interact with her further, finds herself wandering the streets of Saffron. She hears a faint sound at first, then it begins to grow louder as she inadvertently approaches the source. Initially, it sounded kinda nice. Now, it's just irritating. Casting about for the source, Ruby sees a lone Starly "singing" on a rooftop. Everyone nearby is covering their ears or trying their best to ignore it as they go about their business.

Ruby, having never seen a Starly alone, figures it must be in trouble so she climbs onto the roof. "Hey there little guy. What are you doing by yourself? Are you lonely?"

It begins to sing louder. It seems to think that it's "voice" is lovely...or something. Maybe it knows that the sound of its singing irritates humans and just wants to mess with them.

Ruby stands behind it and, slowly this time so as not to startle it, lowers her head into it's view. "Hello there.
Sorry about startling you before, but I like your song and was wondering if you would consider coming along with me so that I could hear it on the go?" She asks politely. She wasnt lying either, she was in fact so tone deaf that the song actually sound good to her.

Starly stops and actually turns to look at Ruby. The human actually appreciates its singing?! Ooh, and they travel too? That means Starly can spread its music to places farther afield that it is comfortable going alone. Sign me up!
Starly is level 2, Male, Sassy, with Keen Eye.
