Something seems slightly off about this Pokemon, but everything from its posture to its wide, shining eyes just screams 'look at me, I'm so cuuuute!'. To most people, this would probably be more than enough evidence to immediately rush over and begin to gush about its appearance.

Purrloin worms its way onto Ruby's shoulder, rubbing its face against her chin and generally just being as adorable as possible. Eventually it manages to snake its way into her bag and seems to fall asleep in it.

"D'awwwwww..." RUby says, sitting on ground with her bag in her lap and watching the Purrloin sleep in it, with no sign of getting up and move from her spot. After I while, she gets a bit worried about the cat and how it's still not waking up, so she begins to poke and prod it while asking if it's okay.

"Oh, sorry for disturbing you! Here, Tox can make you a nice blanket!" Ruby says, putting the Spinarak in the bag with the kitty and closed it up while leaving enough up to provide air. She then got up and went to find Sapphire to show her the adorable kitty, having forgotten the overzealous blanket she had been wrapped up in this morning due to being focused on her excitement for going on a mission.

Ruby is walking along, humming a tune, her brilliant crimson hair glinting in the early-morning sun. Out of the corner of her eye as she walks past an alleyway, she spies two groups of cat Pokemon facing off. One is the ever-present Meowth. The other is something entirely different. Some black and red critter with yellow eyes. The black/red cats are outnumbered.

Without hesitation, Ruby jumps in front of the red and black cats. "Well,this certainly doesn't seem very fair.
How about we even the odds?" She says, looking at the Meowths and cracking her knuckles.

Neither side seems especially happy to see a human interfere, but Ruby is, as always, oblivious to this. After all, Justice prevails! Well, either way, the cats are more focused on one another than her.

The Meowth hisses in protest when struck and tries to turn to face the foe attacking it from behind. The Litten it was facing takes this same opportunity to back up and blast it with fire. The other two Litten follow suit.
