She's a Serperior. She's got injected with a lot more DNA than me, so she's basically a lamia lady. She's a good friend and I 'want' to drag her out somewhere but I'll have to do that slowly. Going from self-exile on the ranch to partying with you is a huge ramp, I think.

With no Sasha in sight, Lia goes to get ready, before taking off on Avitus to Celadon. She takes a breath to calm her nerves about taking her hybrid body into a club full of strangers, and what she's getting into with Nalkeya. Hoo boy.
She goes to step inside.

Stepping inside, Lia's slightly more sensitive hearing is assaulted by a thumping, up-tempo beat. The place is packed. There's barely enough room for an average-sized person to get through, though thankfully the crowd is mostly clustered right in the center. Along the edges of the main room it's pretty clear due to the need to allow people to get into the booths situated along the wall. Nalkeya's platinum blonde hair sticks out, even in this crowd, and she quickly flags Lia over to their booth.

Lia's not a huge fan of crowds, and the promise of 'getting lost' Nalkeya made makes her nervous but she skirts along the wall to get to the gym leader. She slips into the booth.

"Heyo!" Nalkeya and Aubri chime in unison. Nalkeya quickly heads over to the bar and flags down the bartender for a drink for Lia. She is back only moments later, with something pink in her hand.
"Here ya go, girl! Take a sip, see how it works for ya! Don't worry, it's not too alcoholic." She winks, eliciting a brief eye-roll from Aubri.

She goes ahead and takes a sip of it.
"I can't do 'too' much. Having new fire powers plus alcohol probably isn't 'great'. Unless you wanna deal with a woman who starts thinking juggling fireballs or making a scotch flamethrower is a good idea."
She takes another sip and looks to the both of them.
"So how are you two? I didn't really see 'you' when I came back, Aubri."

The drink is really fruity, and is definitely something that fits the palette of most girls, who don't enjoy the harsher stuff. Nalkeya giggles at Lia's idea for what a drunk version of herself might do. "Yeah," Nalkeya admits. "Probably not the best idea in here. Might be fun at an outdoor party though, with fire extinguishers for safety."
Aubri smiles softly, sipping her own drink through the straw. "I had to leave Nalkeya high and dry for awhile after she pulled that stunt. Plus, I'm not always hanging around the Gym. I got my own life too ya know."

She keeps drinking the drink until Aubri pipes up.
"I mean I know you have to, but I always see ya there so... yeah. And, if it makes you feel any better, I've put it past me. After this..."
She points to her new fox ears.
"A lot of things have been put into perspective."

Aubri shrugs. "Nalkeya is my on-again-off-again girlfriend, and her schedule is much more hectic than mine is, so naturally I spend much more time over at the Gym with her than we do at my place."
Nalkeya bobs her head in acknowledgement. "I bet it did. Arceus knows how I'd have handled it in your place." Aubri gently bumps Nalkeya's shoulder, who bumps back and they smile at each other briefly.

"Yeah, I'm trying to handle it by owning it, but that's enough outta sad Lia, I was told we were partying!"

Nalkeya snickers as Aubri smirks and rolls her eyes. Nalkeya grabs Lia and Aubri's hands and drags you out onto the floor. The idea, naturally, is to just do what 'feels' right with regard to dancing.

After a while of dancing, a couple more drinks, and more advances from Nalkeya; Lia excuses herself outside for a bit. She needs a bit of room to breathe. The air is nice and cool compared to the club. She leans against the wall of the building and just cools off for a bit.
