Leon's knees shook for a moment when he saw the woman, but he managed to pause them to take the time to assess his situation. Face to face with the fear and pressure caused by the woman he briefly considered running away, when he turned his head back to see Rex scratching himself behind the ears before giving his trainer an encouraging bark when he noticed Leon seemed off.
'You were once afraid of him, and he's been the best friend you've ever had,' he thought steeling himself, resting a hand on his pack near Witch Slayer, as he took some tentative steps into the room trying to keep alert, Rex following him inside nonchalantly.

Brooke thanked the Normal Branch leader and headed up the stairs, careful to keep a hand on Sharp. She wasn't about to let the Spearow make introductions for her again, even if it had worked out all right with Alex. Not everybody was going to take his belligerence in stride.

Alex silently follows Genevieve into the Normal Branch. He's curious what all the guild has to offer so he's not gonna pass up a free tour. Even though this isn't his chosen branch, Alex still promised he'd keep an eye on Yue and this is where she would be staying. He wanted to at least be familiar with it in case she would find herself in any trouble here.

Normal Branch
Normal Branch is a large, open room. There are tables and other furniture all around with plenty of people just hanging out and relaxing or talking with friends. There seems to be one guy in particular who stands out. He appears to be juggling some long, oblong objects along with a purple monkey that has a hand on its tail. He and the monkey pass them back and forth through the air, then both start juggling a set individually. Genevieve tells the group to go ahead and make themselves at home. If they have any questions, they can speak to one of the Branch Officers, whom she points out. These Officers seem to just be regular folks wearing the Normal Branch tabards/uniforms. They looks slightly older than some of the others here, so it's possible they're just "veteran" members.
Flying Branch
Flying Branch has a very relaxed atmosphere. There are quite a few people hanging out in the common room. As Brooke makes her way into the room, a young woman approaches her. "Greetings. You must be here to join the Flying Branch, yes? I'm Amanda, Branch Head."
Dark Branch
The Dark Branch doesn't seem nearly as scary as Genevieve's words might have had you believing. Sure, the room is suitably dark, and the motif seems to be darker colors, but nobody is jumping out at you or attempting to accost you. The Branch does seem to be mostly girls though, but maybe they're just the ones hanging out in the main room.
D'Mara gives Leon a quick tour of Dark Branch. She points out the Mission Board, the direction of the gender-separated dorms, as well as where her office is should he ever need to talk to her.

Yue looked frantically around for any sign of an Eevee for a few minutes before realizing something important: She didn't have any idea what any Eevee was supposed to look like! She turned to Ms. Genevieve. Um, Ms. Genevieve? What does an Eevee look like?"

Leon quickly relaxed when everything seemed normal, about what he expected to find when he came to sign up with the guild. Maybe Genevieve just thought the queen was showing nepotism and 2 members of her staff showing up roused her suspicions. After a moment, Leon picked up on the fact that there seemed to be a definite bias towards one gender, but he didn't think too much of it, and gender-separated dorms implied they accepted males as well.
At the end of the tour, when D'Mara showed him her office he realized there were a couple items he needed to discuss with her "Do you have a moment to talk now Ms.D'mara?" he asked

Genevieve describes an Eevee to Yue. She also smacks her forehead. "I nearly forgot. All of you who are new here receive this." She hands everyone in the group that followed her an odd-looking book. "This is called a Poké Tome. It contains information on all discovered Pokemon. When new Pokemon are discovered, it will magically update itself automatically."

Yue takes one of the tomes absentmindedly as she scans the room. No Eevees... "Ms Genevieve, where are all the Eevees?"

Genevieve chuckles softly. "Now, Miss Yue, I didn't promise you'd see one right away. The Eevee siblings might not be here right now. They don't live in the Guild."

"Oh..." Yue said, looking downcast before suddenly perking back up. "Wait, we can live here?! Do you have any rooms with those cool bars and chains like I had back home?!" She said, looking up at Ms. Genevieve in excitement.

"Hmm? I was just asking if you had room like I had back home. You know, chains on the walls, bars on the windows, metal doors, that kind of thing. It was really cool, but the stone floors were uncomfortable to sleep on at first, but since I wasn't allowed outside before today, I was able to get used to it pretty quickly!" Yue said with a bright smile befitting her age but not her words.

Genevieve, to her credit, manages to keep her mouth from hanging agape. "Miss Yue, that is not normal. Normal bedrooms do not look like that. That is a prison cell for keeping people against their will. How long were you in this room and who put you there? This is very serious."

"P-Prison cell? F-Father wouldn't do something like that right...? Right...?" Yue said, her voice shaking. She thought the good times she had with Father. Like the time that he brought her cookies for the first time! Wait, that was one of the maids...Oh! What about the time he taught her how to read and write? No, that was another maid...Well, how earlier today when he took her outside for the first time? Wait, he tried to take Bubbles from her...Did Father not love Yue...? Did Yue do something wrong...? Yue began shaking violent as tears welled up in her eyes.

Genevieve pulls Yue in for a hug. "It's alright, you're safe now Yue. Nobody will ever put you in a room like that again. I'm sorry you had to learn about it this way, but it's for the best. Now, who is your father? I will need to report this."

"F-Father's name is...Augustus von Ravenbrandt..." Yue barely managed to choke out before breaking down sobbing into Ms. Genevieve's chest. What did Yue do wrong...? Was Yue's name even Yue...? Maybe she was wrong and Father didn't give her name...
Overcome with such thoughts, Yue could do nothing but cling to Ms. Genevieve and cry.

Alex just sat back as Yue talked to Genevieve. He knew about the bars and assumed it was her being held captive, but somewhere deep down, Alex didn’t fully understand the situation. It wasn’t until the exchange that the heartbreak hit him as well. ‘Wow, that is a terrible thing to have lived through. We have to redouble our efforts and get this solved.’ he thought as the two embraced. He wasn’t going to break that up. That looked like a long time needed hug that she was owed, not by Genevieve, but her family.
Alex continued to wait around so he could stay with Yue. There was plenty of time later to get to the Grass Branch. He needed to stay here with her now until the party reconvened.

Only a few minutes later, after Yue has had time to calm down a little, a strange, dark-haired woman walks swiftly into the room. Genevieve heads her off before she comes close and the two have a conversation in hushed whispers, with occasional glances in Yue's direction. This new person must have somehow heard of Yue's imprisonment by her family and is just as eager to see justice done. Surely that's it, right?

"Yeah, reckon I am. I'm Brooke. This's Sharp." Brooke offered her hand to the Flying branch leader. "So what-all's this branch about? Miz Genevieve talked about the branches a bit, but she never got around to saying what they're for."
