Leon smiled seeing the puddle-mom splashing next to him as he placed one of his apricorn balls and another Enriched Water next to the man made puddle the creature was splashing in “If you like the taste or feel of that water, I promise to keep supplying it. If you travel along with me.” Leon said smiling a bit.

There is a small gurgle from inside the shirt, which Bubbles indicates seems like approval. (Psychic Pokemon don't need to be out of their balls to communicate if they're close enough.)
Leon receives a similar response to Yue's.

Yue lets Bubbles out of her ball. "Puddles meet Bubbles. Bubbles meet Puddles." Yue looks down at where Puddles is. "You don't mind if I call you Puddles, do you?"

When Leon saw that the gurgle Yue’s puddle creature gave seemed to mean yes and that it was the same sound the little creature he was interacting with answered with when he asked it to come along, Leon smiled believing the creature had accepted ”Great, Welcome to the team...Lavender” Leon said tapping the ball against the creature,naming it after it’s double purple coloration.

Alex is still timid around the thing, but slowly reaches a hand out to the creature. If nothing else, he just wanted to explore the thing. “You sure are oddities in this place. Everything else has tried to hurt us. You seem...borderline fun. We need that as teammates. Hey Stout, slowly poke your head out and meet this little thing. It may like you.” Stout slowly pokes his head and and sniffs in the direction of the creature in the puddle. Alex then takes the empty ball that was in his hand and says, “Come with us. It looks like your...uhhh....siblings? Your siblings are joining us. I want to offer you the same chance. Look, we both love plants. I’ll get you the opportunity to munch on good stuff. Maybe you can teach me what the good stuff is.” He offers the apricorn.

Yue says, putting an apricon ball in her lap, just under the hem of her shirt.

Brooke has extended a hand to let the slime Pokemon, allowing it to sniff her (or poke at her, whichever it prefers) before carefully trying to pet it. Not everything likes being stroked, she knows, but if it does then it's a great way to get more comfortable with touch.

Brooke soon has a slime oozing its way up her arm, exploring her like its "sibling" did to Yue. Even going so far as trying to see what's in that "body covering" (shirt). This isn't limited to the girls though, they do it to everyone.

When the ball clicked Leon grinned, refilling the puddle with the Enriched Water had offered earlier, before letting out Lavender so she could splash around in it some more. Out of curiosity, Leon checked the Poketome again seeing if the information had updated at all after he caught the little goo pokemon.

The Tome seems to have been recording information while everyone was watching them play in the puddles, but it still isn't entirely sure what the little things are. It still seems to suggest Water-Type based on the fact they like water and live in a marshy area. Though poison isn't out of the question, given that things like Koffing and Croagunk live in swamps.

"So the Poketome will only know as much as we will. So far its guess on you is that you're either a water type or poison type. I'm leaning more toward Water, with the way you soak up these Enriched Waters." Leon said petting Lavender's 'head' still not sure where her mouth was "I wonder if you're even a pokemon." he said checking the moves section to see if the Poketome had any information on that, not sure if he could use Lavender in battle if he didn't know what attacks she could use.

The Tome can really only offer suggestions for Moves based on what it believes this puddlemon to be. Things like Water Gun, etc.

Yue stands up holding the ball over her head. "Awesome! Now let's let you out of there so you can meet the rest of my friends!" She says, pressing the button to let Puddles out. And then she presses it again. And again. "A-Alex-niiii-chaaaannn...Leon-niii-chaaaan...Ms. Brooooooke...." She says, sniffling and with tears in her eyes. "Puddles' ball is...broken...!"

Leon stood up going over to Yue a bit worried, but after checking for a moment not seeing any damage other than it not being able to open. Leon quickly did a count of Yue's pokemon in his head before smiling a bit realizing the problem "Don't worry Yue it's not broken. This is just a part of the magic of the ball. To prevent people from using too many pokemon at once Guild Trainer's are limited to 6 pokemon at a time. Any apricorn balls over that limit are locked when they're not inside the guild. So Puddles and the ball are fine. You just need to take the ball back to the Guild before you can open it." Leon explained.

Leon was about to chase after her when he realized he couldn't see in the dark but had an idea purposely tripping forward into the muck, letting out an "Ouch" loud enough that Yue could hear it further ahead.

As the...thing slourped into the ball, Alex shivered a bit. “That is so gross. Gonna have to get used to that. It’s nice having another member on the team though. I don’t know what to call you right now, but we’ll think of something.” Alex says taking the ball in hand. He shakes a bit of the excess slime left, and then hooks the ball to his belt. He wanted to get back to the guild to show Sage. Alex figured she might now a little more than him or could at least help him find something that it enjoyed to eat. This was a reason that he wanted to join the guild. He wanted to find new things and places. He just figured they’d find more new plants and areas, not new species.
As Yue ran off, he was just about to yell after her for leaving the group, when he heard Leon cry out. It didn’t sound like pain, but Alex thought the best bet would be to check anyways. He went over to him and said, “Are you alright? I can usually tell if someone is hurt, and that just sounded weird. I wanted to make sure and ask though.”
