"Uh oh. Gotta go!" Alex says as he sees the tackles fly. He realized he was entirely too close to this fight. He's not a fighter like the others, so the best thing to do was retreat away. He takes a couple steps back and has an idea. "Miry come on back. Let Stout try his new move." Alex recalls Miry and sends out Stout. The usually lazy Turtwig kicks up a bunch of leaves into a storm and then fires them in the general direction of two of the Stunfisk.
Stout's Razorleaf: Cone two. Hits #2 and #4.

Lavender seemed quite perturbed by the two flat fishes attacking her, she'd done nothing at all and they'd decided to pick on her! Well, she wasn't about to take this lying down, looking toward the flatfish her own group was picking on. She shot out a slimy tendril that latched onto the creature sapping its energy.

When Lavender didn't seem to get as much as she did from the Marill, Leon was a bit worried for his pokemon, and the reprisal she might get if 3 of the Stunfisk joined. Looking at the one that was already injured Leon decided to give catching it a shot tossing his last basic ball at the creature.

Leaf finds himself beset on two sides, but one of the mud-fish vanishes into a Pokeball before he can react! He wastes no time in turning his attention to the other, leeching the vitality out of it.

Brooke's ball narrowly misses its intended mark. Cuddles' attack seems to be shrugged off with no effect. Yue's quick jab finishes #4, however.
The Stunfisk continue with their tail-slapping antics.

Lavender is dropped by the dual tail slapping assault, Leon was a little miffed at the flatfish, unsure why they continuously attack his pokemon when she seemed to do nothing to them. Believing he knew the best pokemon to deal with these murky water bullies, Leon switched out Lavender for Toadstool tossing him a bit away so the Mushroom bug wouldn't be caught up in the tail slap bonanza.
Toadstool then scurried a bit further himself, before shooting out a group of seed pits at the flatfish that had downed Lavender. While he was doing that Leon turned to the flatfish nearest to him, before gathering some shadow on his fist striking out at the creature.

Stout waddles over right past Yue and up next to the Northern most Stunfisk. He liked his little leaf show. He wanted to try again. Alex looked and before he could protest, just waved him on to go ahead. Stout happily did the little leaf storm again.

Leaf recovers from the Stunfisk's blow to find that not only has his foe been vanquished, all the others nearby are down as well (or vanished into a Poke Ball). He darts forward towards the last one, determined to get in at least one more solid hit before the fight is over.

Two balls down, Alex had enough of these little things. He basically turned to ignore them. Stout knew that what that meant. He could do as he pleased. He liked his new little move so he kept practicing it. Of course, he had to get closer first, and out of the way of everyone that also was beating up on this last one. He carefully chose a spot and whipped up another leaf show.
Stout Razerleafs again!

The next area has a small cadre of little green blobs blocking your path. They seem to be minding their own business, but they're in the way.
