Mar stood and watched, open mouthed. The Spirits repaired all the damage they did with amazing speed and ease, putting it back together and leaving a perfectly intact--- tr--ain...?
"W-wait no no no that's - but now that doesn't make sense! It was a perfectly believable train crash and now you expect them all to believe that a train disassembled and reassembled itself in the m-middle of...?!?" Beside Mar, Lily also fretted, hands anxiously hovering over her mouth as she made a noise of discomfort. "And hold on, hold on! What about the people on board!? You can't keep destroying and reassembling trains with people in then!" He was practically frantic now, waving his arms wildly and gesturing at the train, the injured, and everything around. "Please, please! Let the Clergy arrange a better place or- just- do it out of sight of... oh noooooo..." He turned away, head in his hands and shaking his head.

"The point I made earlier, still stands! You can't just go putting innocent humans in the way of your disputes! It's reckless, and can draw much more attention than I would think you would like!"
Theodore has dismounted Custodia by this point, and was stowing the Gauntlet back in his bag. And then, Custodia begins to address the Emboar.
"The young master has a point. The more trains you destroy, the more people may question what happens. It could potentially endanger your way of life. My fellow spirit brought up a good idea."
Custodia nods to Mar.
"Settle your disputes however you may like, but it is much safer for everyone involved if you find a method or a location that is much less disruptive to the human's way of life. Destroying and derailing trains is not a suitable way to settle these disputes should you wish to remain at peace."

The clan straight up ignores you all, heading back into the tunnels towards their presumed homes. The riolu waves and shouts to you all on his way out
”Sorry! The problems and overall well being of you humans are completely insignificant to us! But we’d love to keep open communications so we can ignore you personally! I’ve sent you a friend request clergy girl! I look forward to not caring about you!!!”
And before any of you can protest, they are gone. Lily can confirm that she’s suddenly gotten a request from a discordian named riolriolu416. You have been left to yourselves.

Amy's dour expression twitched slightly as the pokemon she had singled out ran sobbing into the arms of the would-be leader. Whoops... she guessed evolution state had nothing to do with maturity... She felt like she had made that mistake before, but apparently she hadn't learned from it. Though her brief period of remorse quickly faded at the continued chuckling of Galvan. "Ahahaha! My little firebrand, intimidating children into silence. Whatever will I do with you, hmm?" Galvan grumbled out.
Amy's eye twitched as she whirled around on him, "Hey! It worked, didn't it? Now we're all talking like civilized... adults? Whatever. And now people won't die from getting crushed by a train, so I'd say it was worth it." Amy let the odd pokemon look her over, but they passed her and Galvan over since neither of them had any real injuries. Galvan stopped his laughing, but Amy could still tell he was incredibly amused by the whole situation. She resisted the urge to make a rude gesture at him as some guy she didn't notice before suddenly spoke up to provide an alternative to train destructing fights. Her eyes darted to the staff he held. Huh, she had noticed there was an attack that came out of nowhere... she thought maybe the Clergy girl had done it but... she didn't seem to have anything like it on her. His idea was actually... pretty reasonable and the repair jobs of the two creatures was actually... really good? Amy was stunned at how good the train cars looked, probably even better than when they were first put on the line decades ago. She was too busy glancing over the train cars to notice the spirits taking the guy's suggestion completely wrong and heading off after ignoring the protests of the other seekers. Though as the last of them vanished, Amy snapped out of it and her face briefly took an expression of horror. She ran to the entrance of the tunnel and shouted down it, "Heeey! Just... don't do that on trains with people in it, okay?! And not in front of people either! Then we won't have any problems!" She waited for a few moments before groaning, "Yeaaaaah... they didn't hear a word of that. Greaaaat."
Amy let out a long sigh. She... really wanted to go home and drink herself into a stupor to forget this ever happened. Like pretty much every other day in her life. But... she was pretty sure that'd bite her in the ass later if she did. Her bullshit magic destiny radar was going off like mad, there was no way she'd run into 3 other Seekers and it'd be complete coincidence. Galvan seemed to be following her train of thought or reading her tired expression as he looked into her eyes knowingly. "If you're that worried about it, do a reading. We both know you're not going to be satisfied until you do."
"I... don't have my focus. You know I can't do readings without a focus unless I want them to be more cryptically vague and bullshit than usual," Amy said, with a little bit of defensiveness.
Galvan just rolled his eyes, "You can do a reading with just a coin, stop being stubborn."
Amy grumbled to herself as she fished her wallet out of her jacket pocket. She opened it and found it... empty. ... Right, why did she ever think she had money on her? She was completely broke almost all the time and she paid for everything with card anyway. Welp... she guessed she'd actually have to talk to people. Great. She turned away from Galvan to face the other Seekers. "Hey, do any of you have any change? A quarter would be great. I kind of want to do an... uh... augury and I need one. That's a thing I can do by the way. I'm not trying to beg you for spare change or anything, I swear. I'll give it back."
Given that she was handed a quarter, she thanked the person who gave it to her before sitting cross-legged on the ground. She pulled out a small notebook from her coat pocket and readied a pen as she flipped the coin. She carefully noted each triad of flips, slowly drawing a pair of hexagrams while focusing on the problem at hand. Was this the first of a series of connected events like this? Or was this just an isolated incident? It seemed innocent enough since both of the beasts lost their temper, but the absence of the Clergy bothered her. Also... was it just coincidence that she'd met these Seekers like this? She was almost positive it wasn't, but she might as well check.
Amy performs an Augury!

"Wait, I- they are gone." "You tried your best, master." "I'm still unsure as to whose side that small dog was, though." "At least we stopped the commotion." "That we did, Custodia! Good work!" "Thank you, master." Theodore hears the woman ask for a coin.
"Would this work?" Theodore hands her a ten-pence coin.

Altair was satisfied up until they finished repairing the train -and goddamn it was impressive considering that it looked much better than it did before, which was another hit to secrecy but hey it would make commuting less of a pain on this line- and started to talk again. Son of a bitch - not only do they get his gender wrong (his voice made that very hard but spirits had weird standards) but they also misinterpreted his request to 'destroy and reconstruct trains', something that made him cringe real bad. Before he could say anything or let his fellow seekers make any arguments, they were already bailing.
"Well shit." At least they managed to fix half of the mess. He hung his head and groaned while Edmond gave him a consoling pat on the leg.
He then looked over the woman when she asked for... some change in order to do a reading? "Do we get to know why exactly you need to do a reading in front of a repaired train station, at least....?" Altair couldn't help but question a bit before the guy with the electric gloves gave her a... well. That certainly wasn't a US quarter - looked like UK money actually from the few times he's been in the UK before.
"Sir... did you not exchange your money or is that just pocket change you like to keep around?

Amy stared at the coin in the rich boy's hands. That... wasn't a quarter. She wasn't super familiar with what different country's coinage looked like but... that looked like a queen on one side, so probably something English. "... That'll work, I guess. Quarters honestly aren't super great for this either but... beggars can't be choosers I guess." For some reason old Chinese coins seemed to work best for this, for whatever reason and even better if you did it with a set of three coins. Amy wasn't sure why exactly, but... she could do it with whatever this coin was.
As she began to focus and write out hexagrams, a question aimed at her broke her focus and made the straight line she was drawing suddenly turn into a jagged mess. She winced as her head pounded for a few moments. "Urrrrgh, please don't ask me direct questions while I do this, I need to keep focus to make this work and now I have to start all over." She flipped to the next page in her notepad. As she centered herself, she spoke, "The questions I'm asking are directly relevant to events that happened here recently, so I'll get more clear answers. If I did it like... in my apartment an hour later, I wouldn't be able to focus on all the fine details of what just happened and what I get would be a lot cloudier." She got the coin ready again. "Now you can talk between yourselves or whatever, but don't talk to me until I'm done with this, okay?" she said a bit testily.

Altair raised his hands defensively. "Geez, I was just asking a reasonable question, lady. No need to get as testy as those fighting types that left just now. Go do... whatever it is you diviners do. Thanks for the answers though."
He then turned his attention to Sparky and the Black Lion along with fancy formal spirit guy and his human tag-along that he hadn't heard speak for this entire time, wondering what they were doing while the diviner was doing her mojo on a coin.

"I had some spare change."
Theodore shrugged. Custodia decided to step in to answer.
"The young master forgot to get his currency converted when we arrived. We only arrived here this week."
"My name is Theodore Brooks Fairbank XIII. It is a pleasure to meet you, good sir. May I ask, what is your name?"

"Oh no no no no no. This completely cuts out the legs of the Clergy's contract!" Mar growled to himself, fidgeting nervously in the corner as a conversation started between the two boys. "I mean, it's kind of resolved but in the dumbest way possible that's going to fray human-spirit relations and--" A hand rested on his shoulder for a moment, and Mar froze, before taking a deep breath. "Right, right, of course, of course. Got to... keep calm. Thank you, Lily." He closed his eyes after finishing his words and exhaled, seeming to un-tense by the tiniest of margins as Lily smiled and nodded her silent approval at his side.
Mar glanced up at the two young men before him, and cleared his throat rather awkwardly. "Ah, greetings. I am Mar, and this is Lily. I will be doing the talking for her - She says hi by the way - and we're from the Clergy. You know the deal, fostering good human-spirit relationships, making sure the spirits are respected and given their own places to roam, that sort of thing." He gave the two men a wan smile, still very obviously rattled from the earlier mess.

Amy receives a vision that is much clearer than many of the other visions she normally receives. In a black room, there stands 4 people, specifically the four seekers in the immediate vicinity. They all have indifferent expressions, and all are looking down at something on the ground.
A body
The body of a young man, mid 20s maybe, green hair, laying perfectly still in a pool of what appears to be, as a medical official would call it, a shit ton of blood.

"Ah, I see." Forgetting to exchange money in a foreign country? Altair wondered how he was eating considering that you had to buy food to cook it or buy take-out. Or maybe he was one of those more credit card-oriented rich folk and less paper and coin?
Before he could introduce himself though, Fancypants (Fancydress?) and his companion finally wandered over to where they were and introduced themselves as part of the Clergy like they'd already heard earlier. Well, at least the two of them were more polite than the grouchy diviner.
"I'm Altair Stavros and this over here is my friend Edmond. A pleasure to meet you both." Altair nodded, offering his hand as he did so.
Beside him, Edmond finally spoke up after eyeing each and every one of you. "Yo. Sup?" A startlingly deep voice echoed from the small reptilian creature's frame as he gave the rest a lazy head nod, though his eyes were still sharp and alert.

As Amy focused on the results of the coin flips, the checking and drawing of lines to make hexagrams became... almost automatic. She swayed in her crosslegged position as her only focus became the series of dashed and whole lines. Her eyes flickered once before drifting closed... She became strangely still, with a blank expression on her face as she slipped into a trance. Galvan, noticing this, moved in front of the unmoving woman. The bulky spirit lay down in front of her, causing a loud thud as he did so. The beast smirked before he spoke, "If we're doing introductions, you can call me Galvan. And this little bundle of sunshine is my partner, Amy. I hope you can forgive her perpetually bad mood, especially since she hasn't had a very good day today. This sort of thing always puts her into a bad mood."
As Galvan finished his introductions, Amy snapped out of her trance with a jolt, flinching visibly. She looked around wildly before attempting to calm herself. She closed her eyes again and breathed in and out for a few moments... Though it wasn't long before she got an interruption in the form of Galvan saying, "Well? What did you see? Out with it!"
Amy tensed up again and opened her eyes to glare at the spirit, "Hold your horses, I'm getting there, jeez." Amy looked down at her hands that tremored slightly. Come on, get a hold of yourself... She'd seen worse things than that in visions. Though... even though she'd seen a few bodies still weren't... She shook herself as she thought of how to put what she saw into words. Her face was pale as she began to speak, "So... any of you know a guy, mid-20's, green hair? Since uh... well... if you do, you might want to warn him about uh... I dunno... impending death? Aaaaaaaah, fuck. Why are these always obscure and raise more questions even when the actual picture is super clear?" She rubbed at her eyes, come on... there was someone probably going to die and she couldn't remember more details about him? Stupid, shitty visions. Her trying to get it to stop would probably lead to the whole thing happening anyway, visions had done things like that before, ugh. And she was still fucking shaking, auuuuugh, get over yourself. "Well... anyway, aside from that, I'm guessing we're going to run into each other again for dumb fate reasons even if we try to specifically avoid it unless you decide to take a trip to Russia or something right now. And I don't have the money to do something like that and Galvan would nag at me for running away from my problems, so... yeah." She glanced down at the hexagrams she had drawn during the trance. Huh... Grouping changing to Progress? That was a bit on the nose. Ugh, doing this always made her feel tired, she guessed that's what let her know it worked.
"Anyway... I'm going to... I don't know... try to find that guy? And maybe try to convince him to leave the state or something?" she said, rubbing at her temples once again. Why did these things always have to happen when she just wanted to go home and not do anything for several days? "Since he might be related to what happened here and I have a conscience that won't let me leave things like this alone, hopefully I can get to him before that happens or something. I'd appreciate it if any of you knew anything about it." She fished a couple of business cards out of her jacket pocket and handed them out. "Amy Omiya, Private Investigator, Lost Things/People Found, Free Consultations, Crimes Investigated... whatever. My office number's on there since... well, like I said, we're probably going to run into each other again. It might be good to get communication up right now." Amy wasn't really sure what to do from here, maybe one of the other Seekers would know something about what she was rambling about?

"A pleasure to meet you Mr. Stavros."
Theodore clasps Altair's hand in his own, and shakes it vigorously.
"Oh! How could I forget? This is my bodyguard and mount, Custodia. Say hello, Custodia."
"Hello, Custodia."
Theodore turns to the young woman who had asked to borrow a coin.
"Apologies, but I don't know anyone of that description."
Theodore appears to think for a moment, then gasps as he appears to remember something.
"Could you track down magical artifacts?"

Mar and Lily's attentions were both drawn to the morbid proclamation made by the woman, who then identified herself as Amy, the private and apparently supernatural investigator. Lily wasn't smiling any more, the thought of someone being dead was very troubling to her, and judging by the wince on Mar's face, she was somehow being quite wordlessly vocal about it. Not that Mar didn't understand, of course! When you spend all day in your room and online, death becomes a distant thing, not something you really engage with. He could practically feel her trying to withdraw into herself - and he knew what to do.
"Amy, was it? In case this prophesied death turns out to be Spirit business, it'd be in the best interests of everyone if someone from the Clergy could help out. We're both sharing the same planet after all." He drew a piece of paper from his "dress" thing and handed it to the detective. On it, was... a phone number? "Give it a ring and me and Lily will be happy to help." he finished cheerfully, putting his hands behind his back and bowing.. as a suddenly brow-furrowed Lily fidgeted with her tablet behind her.. sending some kind of message?

Amy waited for the other Seekers to say something and when the Kingsman guy said he didn't know anyone like that, she wasn't surprised. He'd just arrived here after all and the fact that she got the vision with all four of them in it meant the guy was probably somewhere in San Francisco. She thought of what she could do if the other two didn't recognize the description. Maybe she could call up the Seeker organizations and ask for a member list or something? She knew she could probably get the Onmyodo's, but... Well, maybe she could get Clergy through the girl and... she squinted at the man who introduced himself as Altair. He didn't seem like a Hood or part of the Red Guard, he would've let it happen probably. Amy didn't recognize him and he didn't seem to be friends with the Clergy girl, so... Warlock maybe? Though her thoughts were interrupted as the next thing the guy said threw her for a loop. As she was trying to process it, her mouth ran without her thinking about it much. "Wait, what? I mean... maybe? I know I said I can find lost things, but I've dealt with this sort of shit for years and I can already tell your magical is a mystical lost artifact that's been missing for hundreds of years or whatever. All I'm going to get out of that is a cryptic riddle at best. Divining is a lot better and finding things that have been lost recently so their absence feels more- what am I even saying?!" she finished as her mind caught up to her mouth.
Amy pinched the bridge of her nose, "Were you even listening? I saw a dead guy in my vision! Or maybe he was still dying, or maybe it was metaphorical, but still! Since I have a conscience and care about my fellow man, I don't want to leave behind grieving parents and/or a significant other! Do you have your priorities straight, I mean..." Amy glanced around at the other two Seekers, "Is this kind of messed up to anyone else? Because this feels messed up. Jesus Christ, some guy is going to die, dude! ... Maybe." She let out a groan before she caught Galvan about to open his mouth, "Not you, you don't count. I already know what you're gonna say anyway." Rubbing at her temples, she tossed the coin back to the guy underhand, "... Here's your coin back or whatever."
She turned to the spirit in a dress as she(?) spoke. She took the slip of paper and pocketed it for later before she spoke, "Oh, uh... thanks. Yeah, I was hoping if that fucking vague description didn't help that I could maybe get you guys to look at... I dunno, do the Clergy have a list of members? Preferably with pictures? I could probably recognize the guy if I saw him. Green hair isn't exactly common. My number's on the business card I gave you, but since that's my office phone I might not be around to answer. Just uh... make sure it's business hours and I'll... probably answer?" She let out a sigh, at least one guy(?) seemed to figure out that what she was saying was important. She'd played Cassandra way too many times for her to tolerate it any more without punching someone in the nose.

"You said that someone may die. Not that they were dead. It was a vision of what could be, not what is."
Theodore caught the coin as it was thrown at him.
"If you wish to act on preventing this, then you have my support. If you want help, then all you have to do is ask. I'm always willing to help others. But don't assume that I don't care. Because I do. I merely don't adopt such a cynical outlook."

"Alright, can do." he nodded respectfully, pocketing his own card. "Actually... Lily, can you check that description against any Clergymen we know of? We're not exactly veterans so we'll probably draw a blank, but it doesn't hurt to try."
Lily gave a tiny, barely audible "mhm" before sliding and tapping things on her tablet while waiting for a reply from the annoying Riolu. Lily rolls General Education to match Amy's details with anyone she knows or available memberlists.

As Lily did that, Mar turned back to Amy and Theodore. "You know, you two need to stop arguing. Not that you shouldn't argue, but y'know, emergency services are... probably on their way as we speak?"5d6+2

Lily's google search didn't end up with much of anything. Not one member of the clergy was a mid 20s male with green hair. While searching through Clergy archives, she received a notification from her new riolu companion "Same way as you! I just made an account! It's a great way for spirits to communicate with normies! You know how many people I've catfished? 237. All desperate and extremely sad. It was wonderful!!"Not too much longer you finally hear the first footsteps in a while descend into the subway. He looks at you all a bit, clearly assessing who you are, before snapping his fingers. Suddenly, behind him forms a crowd of agitated people flooding down the steps and quickly filling the recently refurbished BART train, which . . . it might work . . . probably. The man approaches you all "Soooooo . . . shot in the dark. You're the group that dealt with this situation?"
