Lily frowned, typing frantically as she got her reply and her no show on the 20 year old with blue hair. She glanced up at Mar, who sighed and looked sheepishly back to Amy. He probably didn't even need to say anything, but nonetheless felt compelled to.
"Sorry, but it looks like there's no such person in the Clergy. At the very least, this guy isn't one of hours. Keep us updated though, as I said the last thing I or any of the Clergy want to see is an altercation between humans and spirits." He frowned for a moment, before continuing in a quieter voice with a suddenly serious tone. "I'm not like those other Spirits. I care about people getting hurt, human or spirit. So even if it's got nothing to do with the Clergy? Keep. Me. Updated." He finished, firmly yet not quite intimidatingly. In fact, he was trying to avoid being forceful entirely, not wanting to give a wrong impression. As he delivered his order, however, Lily had finally finished her small flurry of replies.
lilypad@riolriolu416 that's not what i meant, i meant how did you get my discord username lilypad@riolriolu416 i don't really care how you got on discord, spirits are everywhere online you just need to know how to recognise them lilypad@riolriolu416 you're kind of a dick though lilypad@riolriolu416 there's real people on the other end of that screen with real feelings >:c
At the strange gentleman arriving, Mar immediately turned around to face him. His arms folded and he gave a sceptical squint at this guy. What was his deal? Who was he? Mar didn't know, and he wasn't even sure if the cameraman could see Mar squinting incredulously and suspiciously at him to begin with. With all of that in mind, he remained silent, waiting for this guy to give himself away as a Seeker or something. As for Lily, well she was already too wrapped up in chewing out a blue martial arts dog with a mean streak like a Weavile to even notice the man's arrival.

riolriolu415@lilypad "LOL! IKR?! They're silly (⌒▽⌒). Anyways, you two were registered in the Clergy system, and then it was just a matter of tracking down your personal information from there. Easy peesy lemon squeezy. Was that all you wanted? Because we're kind of doing important stuff right now"
Riolu sends a pic of the clan watching cartoons at an old lady's house. The old lady seems to be passed out in an old chair, the house is in complete disarray, and filled with an absurd amount of fighting types
"You see them?! They're talking bears on the TV! How wild is that?!"
The older cameraman looks at Mar glaring at him, smiles, and takes a picture of Mar.
"Yes, I do see you, and no, you don't need to worry about me. I'm part of damage control, a private branch of Warlock. You guys aren't in trouble or anything . . . assuming that you all recognize to whom I'm speaking to?"

"In a sense, we were the ones who solved the issue. In a different sense it resolved itself."
Theodore was struggling to find the words to describe what happened.
"The Fighting clans here were having a leadership dispute. We stopped their battle royale, and helped them decide on a new way to find a leader. They decided on destroying and building trains. They then rebuilt the train. Does that sum it up well, young master?"
"I couldn't have said it better myself, Custodia."

The cameraman lets out a sigh of relief
"Oh thank god. Seriously, trying to ask if you're seekers WITHOUT asking if you're seekers is a bitch. Well, like I mentioned, I'm with Damage Control, and I just need to get some information from you all to finish filing my report. If you could, I kind of need you to come with me to our home office so we can get through some interviews. Oh, and you don't need to worry about people freaking out about the train crashing. We've managed to limit the exposure of the incident, deadzoned electronic devices that recorded it, and anyone who witnessed it firsthand will have literally no evidence to support their claims. Before we leave, are there any questions I can answer?"

A green-haired man in his 20s...? That sounded like a specific enough description, but Altair was a little too new around the San Francisco branch -he only vacationed here and was usually stationed at the New York one in the East Coast- to be able to tell if there was a guy like that here even with the unique hair color.
As he pondered it over, his eyebrows shot up when he heard the guy he just greeted and shook hands with immediately segue to looking for magical artifacts instead of the topic at hand. Even more curiously, Amy confirmed that the shock gloves were in fact an actual artifact -which was impressive and made him wonder about a few things- before rerailing the topic to where it had been.
"I don't know if I know any men with green hair fitting that rather vague description but I can ask around." Altair offered.
A little bit after that, another gentleman approached them, asking if they were the group that 'fixed' the problem. He looked at the man curiously, only to pause when he mentioned that he was part of the damage control sect of the local Warlock branch.
Oh. Well then.
He let the others explain before sighing and finally speaking up at the guy. "What's going to be done to the wounded? The crash hit a lot of people and the spirits were belligerent enough that they might've injured more people when they fixed up the train station and the trains." And at his own prompting too. He didn't ask for directions or inquire about the procedures they were going to undergo - he already knew what went on so he didn't bother.
As for telling this guy that he was part of the same organization... he pondered over it while waiting for this guy's answer. He doubted he would know that he worked for the same organization given that he was from a different branch, but you never know. The man might figure it out on his own.

Mar stepped forward, hands behind his back. "Mar, registered member of the Clergy and accompanying Lily, also a registered member of the Clergy. We more or less know what happened here, and would be happy to cooperate with the Warlocks for keeping the peace." He glanced back at Lily, who looked up from her tablet and gave a little wave. "...I will be speaking on her behalf, by the way." No muss, no fuss, just business. That was how you dealt with the Warlock - they wanted to keep Spirits a secret from humanity? Fine by the Clergy... for now.
Lily meanwhile had her own battles to fight.
lilypad@riolriolu416 that's adorable but you're still not very considerate of other's feelings and that's not okay lilypad@riolriolu416 sure whatever enjoy your cartoon, on the off chance i have a question i'll be back

"Right now we've managed to get all the injured into various hospitals across the city, each with a different report as to why they were put in a hospital. HR is working on making fake footage for 60% of them to help convince them that something else hurt them. The rest may have their memories, but they'll likely be ignored and lumped up with alot of the other crazies in the city. It's not a perfect solution, but it's the one we have"

Amy paused for a second as the rich kid retorted to her earlier statements. She squinted a bit as she eyed him. Did he... not understand what his word choice sounded like or... Amy considered it for a few moments and... considering the guy's probably odd upbringing, maybe? "No, it's not that, it just..." Amy frowned as she thought of what to say, "So... just, like... when we're talking about someone probably going to die and then you kind of just... change the subject casually and almost immediately it kind of looks like you don't care? And..." Amy let out a long sigh, burying her face in her hands. "... Never mind, it's not worth it. Just drop it Amy..."
Though before she could say anything else, she was interrupted by the spirit in a dress speaking in all italics. She raised an eyebrow as she(?) spoke. "Uh... sure? You don't have to push me that hard, I was probably going to call you anyway if I find anything out since I probably wouldn't do well on my own against something like this if it is organized. I know the tropes, a lone investigator taking something like that on usually doesn't get out of that sort of thing in one piece unless they bring their band of quirky friends with them." Then the maybe Warlock spoke and Amy's hopes sank a bit. Damn, looked like she was going to have to do some leg work, ugh.
She considered saying goodbye to the other Seekers and heading out before she got caught up in clean up by whatever organization caught onto the incident first, but some guy heading down the steps into the station with the rest of the bystanders addressing them sort of shot down her hopes. She debated trying to put on an act that she was just a normal person but... her current company, Galvan included, probably would make that very difficult. Though he was offering to answer questions so... maybe she could check and see if this incident was isolated or not.
"So, hey. I'm Amy, private investigator and also tangentially related to the Onmyodo. I was sort of wondering if this sort of thing has been happening more often recently? Or if this sort of pattern of events has been popping up at all, where groups of pokemon that the Clergy are supposed to see over go nuts without telling them anything. I'm sort of following a lead with a case I'm involved in and this... might have been related to it? I'm not entirely sure yet, but any information you could give me would help... and I guess I'd be willing to give you my side of the story as long as it's quick," she said, the last few words a bit reluctant. The guy would probably be a bit more willing to answer her questions if she was cooperative and seemed really involved... even if the so-called case she was involved in came to her attention within the last 10 minutes. But he didn't have to know that and she wasn't technically lying. She took out her notepad, ready to take notes, to make herself look a little more official.

"It's not the first time a group under the Clergy's protection ever acted outside of acceptable boundaries, but this is one of the more drastic situations. I'll admit, we are having a higher number of Spirit related instances, but it doesn't seem like it's locally sourced at the clergy. It's like something's just stirring up random groups of Spirits, but the potential variables are too vast to start looking into"

"...Things tend to vary over time. Could just be a natural concentration of activity, or it could be something worse." Mar shrugged slightly, a small noncomittal I-don't-really-care-right-now movement. Lily looked up from her tablet, and Mar's eyes swivelled around to her. A small smile twitched across his face and he turned back to the Warlock. "Lily says she'll ask around the other Clergy later, see if they've reported anything similar. I didn't really have any questions to add."

The Damage Control agent smiles and nods.
"Well if that's all the questions, we may be off"
The old man guides you all to the last car in a train that just arrived. As you all get in, you'll notice there's no one else is in this particular car outside of two other men in suit, presumably other members of Warlock, who tell other passengers trying to get on that they can't due to this being some sort of private car. Initially it doesn't make much sense, but suddenly, while the train starts heading off into the tunnel, your car seems to detach. It comes to a slow halt, awkwardly sitting in the dark motionless, before you are thrown to the back of the car by the violent change in acceleration without any warning (Though Altair would likely know this would happen, so he would have held onto a security pole like the other staff, who have no problem staying in their place)
As the train car barrels down a secondary path at an absurd speed, vibrant neon lights start chasing by the windows in hot streaks of color. The roar of the engine is like a metallic screech in your ears, but all the members of Warlock are noticeably unfazed by all this. The gentleman with the camera begins to speak
"All right, let's begin the interview. First of all, how do you all know each other?"

Amy cursed under her breath, vague threats as usual, ugh. And now that she was being cooperative, she had to go with them and answer all of their dumb questions, argh. This would probably be a huge waste of time but... if she just decided to ollie outy, that would probably get the ire of the Warlocks on the Onmyodo and then she'd never hear the end of it from her grandmother about starting an incident that soured the relations between them. She grumbled as she followed the men into the train, Galvan on her heels.
Amy sat down in one of the seats, arms crossed as the train set off and... their car detached from the train. Amy squinted and was about to ask what was going on when the car suddenly lurched, almost sending her to the ground. She made a strangled yelp as she managed to avoid tumbling to the ground, but not by much. She grimaced as the Warlocks seemed entirely unfazed by the whole affair. "Jesus Christ, a little warning next time?" she grumbled ill-naturedly as the weird photographer guy began to speak.
Amy didn't see any reason to lie even if they might not exactly believe her so... "I didn't know any of these guys before the uh... incident. It was just random chance we were all on the same train as far as I know," she said with a shrug.
Galvan piped in to add, "You'd be surprised how often this sort of thing happens to us, my dear partner is a bit of a magnet for these sorts of coincidences. I suppose it comes with the territory of the kind of work she does." Amy thought of saying something dismissive about it but... honestly what he was was true. All sorts of dumb shit happened whenever she was around. She wondered if anyone else had to deal with the volume of bullshit she did among Seekers... maybe other people just objected to that sort of thing happening less? She let out a small puff of breath as she whacked Galvan's side regardless, producing a small clank as she hit the metal plate.

"I hadn't met any of these people before today."
"We only arrived in this country just last week. We were looking for a place to stay when the train crashed."
"Yes, we were looking for somewhere more permanent to stay. And then, well, you know the rest."

Lily was absentmindedly tapping away on her pad as Mar filtered into the private train in front of her. For his part, he hung close to his Seeker as the train came to a halt... then when the speed kicked in in entirely the wrong direction the two of them were flung off their feet and deposited on one of the rear-facing seats. Mar immediately got the wind knocked out of him by Lily landing directly in his lap, leaving him thoroughly discombobulated with only barely enough presence of mind to catch Lily's tablet as it flew out of her startled hands.
The mute Seeker rolled off her Spirit companion, leaving a thoroughly dishevelled-looking and wheezing Mar holding onto a pink tablet with a lilypad design on the back - which he wordlessly and embarassedly handed back to Lily before clearing his throat with a quiet harrumph and immediately trying his best to look professional. Sadly, he rather failed to speak professional.
"W-well, I can... back up their account, yes. I mean... Okay, so..." He seemed to struggle to find words for a moment, having just been hit by a Lily missile, but he rallied magnificently. "We were all in the train when the incident happened, no doubt going our own ways, and then we ended up the only Seekers immediately to hand when the situation took a turn for the worse."

Altair and Edmond quietly followed the group and the man inside a familiar-looking train. Figuring what this train probably was, both of them held onto poles and waited for the ride to get real crazy -just like Willy Wonka's boat rides- and with that they were able to keep themselves stable when the really wild parts of the ride hit.
When the ride settled down and they started talk, Altair and Edmond relaxed into their seats as they listened to the others speak up first before Altair took his turn.
"Nope. I'm just in San Francisco for a vacation now and maybe work later." He said with a shrug. "I was just commuting on the train with 'em when all the mess happened. Like Mar said, we were the closest group at hand so we pretty much intervened to try and fix it before it snowballed."

The cameraman has a bit of a surprised look on his face upon learning that none of you actually knew each other
"Really? No affiliations here whatsoever? But you are seekers right? Are you all affiliated with any organizations?"

Amy sighed, she knew that was going to be a hard pill to swallow. She didn't see any reason to lie about this either... except maybe as a point of personal pride. "I'm personally independent, but I have dealings with the Onmyodo a lot as well as relatives that are members of them," she answered. She was getting more bored by the second, she hated sitting through incident reports like this, especially when stupid stuff happened during the incident and no one would believe her even when she told the straight through without any embellishment. She stared at her nails as she waited for the next question.

Altair sat back and then smiled at the man and the gathered people. "Warlock. I'm not surprised you don't recognize me though, as I'm from the East Coast. New York branch, to be precise." He admitted freely with a shrug now that he was beside known allies and not in a hostile situation.
Edmond waved beside him, still silent as his dark eyes looked at them all unblinkingly. He seemed used to this sort of thing.

Mar waved a hand dismissively at the question. "Clergy. Just arrived recently, actually. I don't think Lily was expecting to have to deal with this so soon after signing on. Can't say I blame her, really." He was quite aware that the fellow already knew he was Clergy, but he might as well get it down on official record. And it wasn't like he was lying - he could feel Lily's hands trembling slightly on her tablet through their connection.
