"Okay Dusty... I guess we're fighting, go ahead and cross the stream and use sand tomb on one of those pinkrocs." The antlion stared at her a moment with it's odd plus shaped eyes, then worked it's big head down into the soil. It disappeared from sight in the direction of the stream. Mica frowned at the hole. "Oh yeah... I forgot he doesn't like water."

Aster smashes into one of the strange plants, causing it to be pushed backwards, light furrows appearing in the ground. Unfortunately, it means that Aster's alone in the midst of the plant Pokémon, as they release energy at him. A psychic blast from one misses him, but pinkish winds from the other two do hit, causing him to stagger a bit. Dusty burrows underground to cross the river, while the larger of the plant-mon crosses over the surface, wading across the stream to cross to the trainer's side. Aster hits with Tackle. J9 misses Aster. Aster takes 20 damage from Fairy Wind. Aster takes 22 damage and an injury from Fairy Wind. Dusty burrows underground.
Medium Quadruped Sprints.

As Aster gets bombarded, and the bigger of the wilds begins to run over towards him, Donovan reaches into his pocket before throwing out a wave of yellow pollen, which unfortunately did not go as far as he had hoped it would, falling gently and pointlessly to the ground. On the other side of the creek, Aster shook off his blows before shaking once more, this time sending a few seeds onto the smaller wild that was beneath him. When the seeds latched on, he gave the opponent a little wink before blending back in with the scenery, hoping to avoid another hit Donovan will miss with Stun Spore, 1 vs AC 6
Aster will use Leech Seed on J9 with a 6 vs AC 4
On hit he will do a Flirt Maneuver and the enemy will need to beat a 13 on either Charm or Focus

Aster successfully seeds the equally-pink but far more reptilian Pokémon, but it seems to frankly be insulted at his wink. Switching from a psychic blast, it changes to the glittering wind of its compatriots, emanating from the bulb on its back. Unfortunately for Aster, even with his camouflage this hits dead on, causing the Deerling to crumple. One of the other smaller Pokémon hangs back, almost warily, but the one Aster careened into is eager to return the favour, seizing the opportunity to tackle the fallen deer, pushing he back into the shallow stream. Thankfully, it doesn't seem to do too much damage, and Aster's head remains above the water. Aster hits with Leech Seed. The Flirt attempt is resisted. Aster takes 18 damage, an injury, and Faints from Fairy Wind. Aster takes 12 damage and is pushed 2m from Tackle. Aster recovers a tick of HP from Leech Seed.

Mica frowns at the spot where Dusty was supposed to surface. He certainly was taking his time, and the big pinkroc was coming over and looking really, really grumpy. To make matters worse, the other Pinkrocs beat up Donovan's cute deer! This would not stand!
"Apex!" Mica called, throwing out his Pokeball, the big sloth coming into being next to the bigpinkroc. "Give it your Fury Swipes!"
Apex slashes aggressively at the little Saurian, but it is surprisingly quick and spritely, only to be konked by a Pokeball from Mica a second later.
(Fury Swipes misses, Pokeball hits, 67 Cap Check)

Apex appears next to the medium quadruped, enthusiastic, but unfortunately not quite used to his new stature yet, and the other Pokémon is able to move out of the way. Mica's Pokéball aims directly for the Pokémon, but it uses one of its legs to swat the ball away, growling. The ball appears undamaged, though, and able to be retrieved. Apex misses.

Donovan winced as Aster went down, quickly recalling the Deerling and releasing Dandelion next to him "Alright Dandelion. These things seem to be psychic too. See if you can get it across to them that we don't want to fight them. But if that doesn't work, get ready to blast em" Recalling Aster and releasing Dandelion
Donovan uses Focused Training on Dandelion
If possible, I would like Dandelion to use Telepath to try and tell the Ivysaur we weren't looking for a fight.
Dandelion has Initiative 11

The Combee's antennae glow as it buzzes a bit and faces towards the larger creature, but all it seems to accomplish is the crystalline plant glancing at the humans behind the bee, huffing, and pawing at the ground. It certainly doesn't look any friendlier - especially not as it does much the same trick as Aster, launching seeds that latch onto Apex. Medium Quadruped hits Apex with Leech Seed.

When his telepathy went nowhere, Dandelion floated a little ways away, before attempting to blast one of the creatures across the creek. Unfortunately his psionic attack went completely wide and managed to hit nothing. Dandelion used Psybeam on K6 but rolled a 1 against an AC 2 for a miss

Vigorously, Apex whipped one of it's long arms back, and hauled it alongside it's body with great strength, Scratching his way through the medium and nearby small quadruped, stopping at the end of his lunge to survey the damage.

Unfortunately... the damage he inflicts is mostly psychological, the small Pokémon headbutting him before scampering off to hide behind the larger one, which growls defensively at the Vigoroth. One of the smaller ones hops out from behind a the nearby tree to shoot sparkly wind at Apex, while the one across the river does the same to Dandelion. The latter really buffets the Combee, nearly causing it to crash. Both the Pokémon hold on, though. F10 takes a tick of damage from Leech Seed. Apex takes 4 damage from Tackle and is pushed 2m. Dandelion takes 33 damage and 2 injuries from Fairy Wind. A critical hit! Apex takes 25 damage and an injury from Fairy Wind.

Mica fidgets anxiously as the Pokemon continue to do their best. She winds back her throwing arm and manages to wing one of the pinkrocs. "Donovan maybe coming so far out wasn't the best idea... They seem really mad and we didn't even do anything."
Nearby, Apex pitches and enormous fit and rakes his massive claws into the medium sized punkroc.

Donovan shook his head " It'll be fine. This is how we get stronger" Noticing how injured Dandelion is, he turned to the big one before tossing another handful of spores towards its face and moving between it and Dandelion Donovan is using Stun Spore on the Ivysaur, AC 6 vs a 7
He is then shifting in between it and Dandelion

Mica's ball flies through the air, and thwacks one of the smaller Pokémon, the ball swiftly clicking shut. Apex seems similarly effective, his claws seeming to dig deep into the larger quadruped. Donovan's spores, unfortunately, go wide, carried away by the remnants of the silvery breeze that the wild Pokémon had summoned. The larger foe doesn't seem down yet, though, as it bites down on Apex, the crystal on its back glowing a little brighter as the Vigoroth slumps to the ground, unconscious. Looking more perky, the Pokémon turns to Donovan, who's blocking the Combee, before glancing around to the smaller Pokémon around it. Mica caught a Pokémon! Apex takes 5 damage from being Seeded. The Medium Quadruped takes two injuries from Fury Swipes. Donovan misses Apex takes 24 damage, an injury, and Faints from Draining Kiss.

" Dandelion, try and blow them away!" Donovan calls out as he watches Apex go down The Combee retaliates by sending a gust of wind towards the larger quadruped but around Donovan, who kept standing with his arms spread wide, a determined look on his face Gust on G9

Dandelion's wind hits the large beast, but it almost seems to bee merely a light breeze, the thing barely reacting to it at all. Certainly less than it did to Apex's claws. The smaller quadrupeds deem a little bit more distraught at the capture of their companion. The one across the river wanders up to the ball, nudging at its with its head. The other one continues to hide behind its larger brethren, staring charmingly at Dandelion. The bee seems to soften a little bit at the plant's display. Dandelion hits with Gust. F10 takes a tick of damage from Seeded. F10 hits Dandelion with Baby-Doll Eyes. Dandelion's Attack goes down 1 CS.

Mica makes a small frustrated noise as Apex goes down, puffing her cheeks out and winding up another Pokeball, beaning the Ivysaur again. "Deep woods Pokemon sure don't tolerate humans much... I guess that makes sense... Still I feel kinda bad."
Dusty popped free of the soil on the far side of the stream, waddling a short distance South and belching a small vortex of sand over the Bulbasaur tending it's already captured companion.
"There you are!"

The ball knocks the larger quadruped head on, the beast still growling and angry looking as it's sucked in. The ball shakes violently for a little, before clicking shut. There's silence from the other beasts, at least until Dusty burrows up and launches sand at the Pokémon near the ball, not liking the shallow water he has to wade through to get there. The small pink creature squeals in pain, looking upset. Mica caught a Pokémon! Dusty hits with Sand Tomb.

Donovan watched as Mica caught another one, hiding his surprise as he pointed towards the seeded Pokemon " Dandelion! Let's try and end this! Hit it with a Psybeam" The Combee flew a little above his trainer, before unleashing a psychic assault into the strange saurian Psybeam on F10, 16 vs AC 2 for 32 Special Psychic damage
Donovan is using Focused Training this turn

The squeals from the smaller quadruped swiftly cease, as Dandelion's beam hits it square on, and it falls over next to the ball containing its companion. The last remaining one quickly turns around, and hurries off into the trees and bushes, leaving the only sounds the splashing of the water. You caught a Delta Bulbasaur!
