chckturknMegas... They might be a thing, they might not. Something I think we'll figure out during the game, I guess. I can guarantee, though, there are no eeevelutions, simply because there are not eevees in Lima. I wonder if they have something similar... Harbringer of InsanityNice to see Tobias is fully fleshed. Very thorough backstory. Thanks!

lichlord love where you are going with that build however equipment savant requires Expert Survival. Additionally you get another research field for taking researcher (yay 2 fields) Chemistry would work wonders with what you are working on and gives you the ability to make pester balls to fill your cases with. Also if you are going to take travelr you may want to drop athletics or acrobatics to pathetic to gain the best benefit for it.

Oh yeah it is expert isn't it. Don't know how I missed that. Shoot. I'll get it replaced with something. Thanks. I do know that I have the 2nd branch. I haven't used it yet. It will probably be chemistry down the line (Although I'd want that to combine with books so I'd need like playtest general researcher so I'd need to take a 2nd researcher, which is where I ran into my early snag)
As for the thing about traveler, it's already replacing one of them. According to my sheet calcs if I drop one I don't lose or gain anything so I don't need to move it. Unless you meant drop it to pathetic so I can raise another stat in a min-max kinda way, which... eh. I don't feel like she'd be that weak or clumsy to have a pathetic in either of those categories.
Edit: Just changed it to Hero's Journey rank 2 for now. Equipment Savant will probably be the my level 7 feat then.

you dont need the general researcher to use books, the general research is just good at replacing the needed skill with something else. Seeing as you already have the skill you are looking for at adept chemistry would be fine without general. Poké Ball Technical Manual and The Anarchist Cookbook are probably the really good ones for you. I would go chemistry save the Class for something else. Capture Spec would be a good one. Also Hobbyist at level 5 to take Dilettante for your bonus feature would also shore up some other issues.

Except I 'would' need it. AP is a limited resource already for my build. As one of the main feats of Jailbreaker needs it, and I'm possibly thinking juggler down the road, which will make it even worse! So the ap you sacrafice for the books would put a huge drain on it. I'd more or less benefit from all three Tech books, so if I wanted the expert rank on them all I'm draining 6 ap to get them all. I probably wouldn't keep rank 2 on DIY engineering on, but that's still 5 ap, and at the level I'd unlock expert, that's 5/6 of my available ap.
But the other thing is that I don't know how this game will go. Haven't played under our gm, so idk if the game will feature heavy non-league combat, as I can't do anything with pester balls IN league. And even further, in non-league battles, will I need to go as far as having pester balls or will my cases be enough?
Trust me, I'm keeping chemist as an option, but it's not the only one. As i usually do with characters, I leave some stuff open until I've played in the game for a bit, to know what I'm dealing with. For now I'm happy with leaving the branch open and having Backpacker/Jailbreaker

lichlordI really like the idea of a troublemaker looking to turn over a new page. One who knows how to handle pokéballs even more. Thanks for applying!

I've added a bit to Haruka's background/personality as well as pushing it over to a separate doc since I wasn't fond about how much the boxes in the sheet were bloating up >_>

As mentioned before here is the Mentor I was building. Introducing Jack and Minccino [Yes he has a Minccino with him, no the Minccino cannot attack as its missing and arm and a leg from a beartick trap] Jack is an Aspiring caretaker of pokemon and mentor to trainers of all walks of life. Minccino is his troublemaking sidekick that gets all the ladies attention leaving Jack to clean up the mess. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hrU9W-GAIXSdTbdw17q93d7rwFe1I316J1_B6VTeXns/edit?usp=sharing

Thank you all so much for the awesome applications! There were a lot of good characters and it was really hard to choose only three of you. It makes me really sad that I could not expand the roster or even run a second group. I tried to be really fair and took characters that would be interesting together and make sense in the context of the game. Without further ado, here are the selected ones: - frigidscholar 's Haruka Omiya, the supportive character who can handle the occult side of Lima;
- manicmeeple 's Dean Masterson, the battle specialist who'll evaluate League structures;
- lichlord 's Erica Anglewood, the scrappy kid with a complicated personality and a way with pokéballs.
Once more, than you all for applying! I'm sorry if you didn't get picked, but I'm sure you'll do great next time.
