Now for experience! Tazukie and John completed their trial and became legal pokemon trainers, so they both automatically gain one level. For their pokemon that participated directly in encounters, you each get 47 exp to allocate.

Are we newbies okay to start posting in Episode 2 as part of the crowd? And when you get the chance, what starting items do we get? If possible I'd like some Food Scrap to craft a Snack or two. Either way I intend to forage for more in game as opportunities presents themselves (which is why I took a Skill Stunt for it!).
Also, I would recommend editing links to everyone's sheets into the first post of this thread, or perhaps making a separate Cast thread or something. It really makes it easier to keep track of everyone and reference things!

you get 5k to start with. Use that to purchase food and stuff. I would also get like a sleeping bag tent flashlight and lighter. Not sure if the GM will start you off with a pokedex and pokeballs or what not. I will give you a small spoiler though i can make pokeballs cheap.
also on the note of putting sheets into a thread doc, can i get you to add the stats for the fakemon to the pokedex thread, just to make leveling easier.

The recruitment thread mentions that we start with a pack of supplies. Is this the list of items that you meant? Also, how should we introduce our characters? Do you want us to meet them in town? Should we do a brief backstory post on how we meet Sequoia? I'm also torn on if I should buy pokeballs or just have Lav craft them when I first meet him. Part of me says that is metagaming but then again I have to buy a grooming kit still and need to penny pinch. |

would your character focus on catching pokemon anyway? Also those bags were for Chapter 1 so I would wait on that.

True, we got those bags from the trial, so if your got your licences a different way, maybe would would have other gear. John and Keno had quite the adventure so far, (which you can read) lost some friends along the way.

Oh no no. Barry seems like he would be far from a catcher. I want Barry to be a breeder. He's just going to "borrow" everyone's Pokémon and umm, make his own. It's easier that way!
On a serious note though, he should have a few balls on hand to catch what other people don't want. Or in case of emergency. I mean, he is a budding trainer after all. He'll catch on quick when he sees that John is much better at it though.
I just asked about the packs because the recruitment thread mentioned starting with packs and those were the only ones I could find. Just trying to get the final inventory settled before starting.
(Sorta bummed I missed the trial. That looked like fun. I liked the puzzle solving aspect of it. Kinda bummed I missed the type synced Taillow right off the bat too. I'm all for weird type synced new species. That's why the homebrews looked neat too. I just took turtwig because of planter and I like having a tank (also hence why I wanted the egg move. Stockpile and withdraw look amazing). She will be a mainstay for awhile. The rest of the team will be made around growing berries and making a roaming berry store basically. He'll definitely try for the badges, but I'm not investing too heavily in combat features. Think of Barry as the team healer/medic)

There are three trees outside the boundaries, along with with a pokemon center. Two trees sit on the west, the other east, and the the center is to the south. The trees to the west are approximately 5 meters tall. The one to the east is 4 meters. |

You may also jump into the battle before the Mayor announces the rules, if you want to make it a 3 or more-way battle. Your starting items are a smart phone with a pokedex and town map added as apps, a backpack, a utility rope, a first aid kit, 2 rolls of bandages, a sleeping bag, a lighter, a flashlight, a water filter, and 10 pokeballs. You also get 5k to purchase other supplies. Thanks for your recommendation, I appreciate it, because I can use all the suggestions I can get. I'll find the time to make those threads soon. |

However, since you are not starting with the trial in your background, the pester balls are replaced with pokeballs. You also start with a smart phone that has a pokedex and town map as apps and 5k to spend on other supplies. |
