Sam's turn! The small pokémon is getting greatly annoyed that she was constantly being ignored (and almost stepped on!) Maybe she should learn a more spectacular move - just so they couldn't do that? But that was in the future ... Now there was only biting! She waddled after the big ape as quickly as her legs could carry her and went for another Bite!

Slaking is bit, but Endures it. The Mega Drain barely drains a thing, as it has almost nothing left to steal by that point. Osore the Arbok returns to the field and gives that grass snake a taste of its venom.

!! Once more Sam found herself overlooked as everyone was running everywhere. At least the Slaking was down - even if he just *had* to Endure her hit. Oh well! Luckily an opportunity to make herself relevant quickly presented itself as the poison snake tried to tail the grass snake. Oh no you don't! The Mawile leaped towards the fight to interpose herself between the two!

Arbok stops the critical drain from affecting Brad and fixes the Mawile with an icy stare. How dare it get in the way of its "killing" blow?!

Brad swaps Osore for a Gliscor named Shissoku (Shift Action since previous was fainted). It clutches its Toxic Orb, then creates a substitute and activates its Leftovers and Poison Heal Ability!
Poison Heal: Trigger - User is Poisoned or Badly Poisoned. Effect: For the rest of the Encounter, while Poisoned or Badly Poisoned, the user gains a Tick of Hit Points at the beginning of each turn instead of losing any Hit Points from Poison. At the end of the Encounter, the user is cured of the Poison Status. Additionally, the user does not have any Combat Stages lowered from being Poisoned.
Trainer Standard Action: Brad uses a Hyper Potion on himself.
Gliscor Standard: Use Substitute Gliscor No action: Toxic Orb activates Gliscor Free Action: Trigger Poison Heal Gliscor Free Action: Trigger Leftovers

With the icy fangs having destroyed its hiding spot, Gliscor decides to do something about Jaws down there. It thwaps the ground with its heavy stinger-tail, causing a localized tremor. Sure, it won't do anything against the balloon, but that can be dealt with later.

Gliscor's tough hide deflects the icy doom, and though the Hex hurts, it toughs it out and Roosts to regain health. Seeing Mawile falter slightly, Brad goes for the KO.
Gliscor used Roost! It regained HP! It then heals to full (injured) hp with poison heal and leftovers.

Brad is battered by the rapid-fire assault of Fluffy the Flareon, but smiles as he still injured it enough that Gliscor could probably take it out. Even if not, he still has 3 more Pokemon available. The one to replace him is a Fearow!
Fearow swoops in and rakes its talons across the Dragalge that just appeared. Gliscor dives to the ground and creates another tremor to weaken both enemies as Fearow floats harmlessly over it.
