The surprised Trubbish tries to build up its defenses.

While the Trubbish is still blinded from Sam's distraction Jane throws a ball at it! But instead of a pokéball it's a small fragile thing containing concentrated itching powder! That could really distract someone and force them to spend and action simply scratching the itches, unable to dodge ...
Init 25 - Jane throws an Paralysis Pester Ball (spending AP)!
sV0t9KT91d20+1 vs AC 6 (target is Blinded, -2 evasion)
if above hits the Trubbish is paralyzed and loses 5d6 hp from Caustic Chemistry!
Init 6 - Sam uses Feint Attack (unless the Trubbish is visibly hurt from the Caustic Chemistry!)
2d6+29 Physical Dark damage
The Feint Attack activates Stacked Deck - the next time the Trubbish saves vs Paralysis it is Tripped and Slowed! The poor thing can't catch a break! 1d20+1·5d6·2d6+29

The now paralyzed, injured, and semi-blind Trubbish tries to run away!
Paralysis save DC 11: 19yYQGvZ1d20
Unfortunately, it somehow trips over air because... magic? Despite this, it picks itself up and hobbles a few meters in the opposite direction. It's really not very fast.1d20

Seeing the poor trashbag waddle away (though she is satisfied that her "magic" worked!) Jane delays her action a bit so that Sam can catch up!
The Mawile noticing that the Trubbish is injured and not having any orders to further attack the poor pokémon simply runs after it without using the opening to attack. Instead it simply lets out a horrible wail and a fountain of tears adding to the general pandemonium and no doubt the poor Trubbish confusion.
Init 6 - Sam moves after the Trubbish! Sam uses Fake Tears!
xwcCC7rs1d20+1 vs AC 2
If that hits (and it might, seeing as Trubbish is at -2 evasion and not very speedy) it suffers from -2 Sp.Def. Also - more importantly it triggers Mind Games making it Vulnerable for a full round.
Init 6/Delayed - Jane uses a real (basic) Pokéball now that the Trubbish is truly screwed!
1d20+1 vs AC 6; Vulnerable (probably) and -2 Evasion on the Trubbish
1d100-27 if above hits! 1d20+1·1d20+1·1d100-27

"Yess!" Jane exclaims as she catches the Trubbish. Though she felt a little bad for it, seeing all the things she put it trough. Hopefully it'd feel better after spending some time at the Ranch!

As Jane is about to continue on her journey, a voice calls out in challenge.
"Hey! You, over there! Yes, you."
Looking around, there is only one other person on the road right now, so he must be the one talking to you.
"I'm looking for a challenge. You up for it?"
The boy is around your age, is slightly taller than you, and appears to be wearing some form of body armor with... is that a hammer on his back?!

*uh* ... She wasn't quite used to the physical aspects of Kantonian battles just yet. In fact if she really tried she could still feel the residue from her battle at the Viridan Gym despite that being over a week ago! But on the other hand, she wasn't the one to back down from a challenge!
"Define 'challenge'." Jane replied and reached for her pokéballs. Despite not wanting another concussion she could feel her heart quicken and the prospect of another match. "What terms - and how many pokémon? Three?"

"Obviously I mean a fight. What else could I possibly mean? I usually go all-out, that is: 6v6 with full-contact, but I'm willing to lower the bar for ya if you need it."
He doesn't seem to be trying to be condescending with that 'lower the bar' comment, but it sure could come across that way.

"Oh it's on! Full match!" Jane didn't like the way he sounded - even if he didn't mean it. She set aside her backpack and placed her revive ontop of it. "Winner sprays that to the loser okay? I don't want to leave you in the dust hah!" After giving her opponent a few moments to accept Jane starts out by sending forth her Whimsicott Nie.

Neither Brad nor his Arbok are affected by the Pester Ball, as it sails right on past them. Brad dives to the side, avoiding the spray of life-draining seeds. He binds Pinpoint Strike to Osore as well as issuing Brutal Orders.
(Pinpoint Strike: Arbok gains +2 Accuracy and Effect range at the cost of -5 damage on its damaging moves.)
"Whew. That was close.. get 'em, Osore!"
Osore slinks forward and swipes with its tail at the floating fairy, spreading its hood wide in a display of power.

Nie's warding talisman glows as the poisonous attack comes in and at first it looks like it is about to bounce harmlessly off her fluff. But sadly the small fairy is preoccupied by the scary snakes challenge and can't twist away in time! Oh no!
Round 2!
"Vengeance! Go for the eyes Nie go for the eyes!" Jane encourages her pokémon and then quickly adds "Look out for the tail!"
Jane binds Capricious Whirl and circles to her right
Coming down from the initial shock of the scare and the cut Nie conjures a burst of Stun Spores and flings them at the Arboks eyes! As the Arbok is distracted the Nie bounces back another square.
Nie uses Stun Spore! It hits triggering both Trickster and Escape Artist (Nie disengages as a Free Action)

Stealth: _vsm66nn5d6+1
Osore the Arbok may be temporarily blinded, but that doesn't prevent it rapidly shedding its own skin to cleanse itself of paralysis. It then coils up in preparation for another attack.
Coil! +1 ATK and Accuracy.
Brad gets up and fixes Nie with a nasty glare.
Mean Look! Whimsicott is Trapped and Slowed for the remainder of the encounter.
Activate Roughneck! Trigger: You hit a foe with an Attack.

Round 3
Jane throws another Pester Ball at the Arbok! This time it's a Paralysis one! She then continues to circle the field.
G4nVSRkC1d20 vs AC 6 + Status Evasion
Nie hops around the Arbok, a bit worried about the nasty person in the armour giving her nasty looks! She then attempts to win him over to her side with Charm!
1d20+1 vs AC 2 + Speed Evasion (no non-stat Evasion)
On a hit he loses 2 CS in Atk. Also activates Mindgames! He's Vulnerable!
With surprising swiftness for a cotton-ball that was just hobbling along Nie continues her offence! But now with less pleasant means. Taking advantage of the knight being momentarily distracted by her bright and shiny eyes she hops up and gives him a face-full of Stun Spore!

Arbok rapidly slithers out of the way of the stun spore, hissing in anger at the not-dead-yet fairy. Brad ignores Whimsicott and heads towards Jane to take her out.

Ow! Being hammered wasn't very pleasant. At least better then what Nie was getting! With a wince Jane took a step back and attempted to shove another Pester Ball in the face of the pestering knight. Eventually he'd fail to dodge one! She hoped at least ...
