Lucario finally falls, but there are still two Pokemon left to go! First up is a Pignite, which charges in recklessly!

For such a reckless charge, it did 2 damage! Vee was tank master! As for the return?!?! Vee used Wish. That was it. Just Wish. Inspired orders were given to help with dodging/tanking on this turn.
Effect: At the end of the user's next turn, the target regains HP equal to half of its full HP. If the user targets itself and is replaced in battle, the replacement is healed by half of its own HP.

Pignite fumes in anger. It can't believe that its powerful charge did next to nothing! Instead, it goes for a noxious fumes attack!

Vee is poisoned! On top of paralyzed! Too bad Eve was going to switch it out anyways! Out comes Light, in comes Corroseon! Poison that, aha! How long will Corroseon last? No one knooooooows, but the effects of Wish take place and heal Cera for half HP.
After calling out Corroseon, the top of the order is up again, and at 16 speed, Corroseon beats the Pignite's 12 initiative. Eve calls for a Sludge attack backed by brutal and inspired orders.

Pignite may not feel so great anymore, but hell if it's not going for broke! It charges once again.

37 damage to Cera. Eve honestly wasn't sure what she needed to do now. Save her best moves for the gym leader or use them now just for the chance to reach the gym leader? Uh uh uhhhhh... No time, Eve just ordered an Acid Spray with focused and inspired orders.

It... worked? Awesome! Although, the Fake Out follow-up was not a pleasant one. Still, it seemed Cera remained just a little faster than the Mienfoo. Cera used Sludge with inspired and brutal orders.

"Well, fine then!" Eve retorts at the Mienfoo's evade, "Take an Acid Spray, you! Make sure to hit it, Cera!". Backed by Focused and Inspired orders, Cera launches an Acid Spray as directed.

With a series of slaps, Cera was also down for the count. Eve's next Pokemon was her Draconeon, Dia, who was also standing on her last legs, but at the very least, Dia was going to get in one last hit. Eve would... Eve would figure out how to continue next from there. A Dual Chop supported with inspired and focused training orders.

And now we were down to the last. Vee is sent back out. Paralyzed and Poisoned, but not completely out of the count just yet. Inspired and Focused training is applied to Vee. Since it's the top of a new round and Mienfoo is faster, the enemy gets the first strike.

Despite Mienfoo's defeat, Eve's challenge appears to be over. With only a weakened Companeon facing down three fresh Pokemon, even its impressive defenses wouldn't stand up to all that without rest, which it can't have during the 'fighting gauntlet' Gym Challenge.
Eve earns 90 Poke XP, 1 Misc XP, and 1240 PYen.

"Right," Eve expresses understanding as she steps onto the field. The first two she sends out are Vee the Companeon and Dia the Draconeon, and in this fight, she tries for the quick and straightforward approach, ordering Vee to strike the Garbodor with the priority quick move followed by a Dragon Breath from the naturally speedy Dia on the same target. Inspired and Focused Orders are both issued, increasing the accuracy and evasion of both Pokemon, which were already boosted by training to begin with.

Garbodor handles both attacks fairly well, then scatters a layer of poison-coated spikes all around Companeon as it Disengages out of melee range. Scolipede actually is given no orders, but keeps Garbodor between itself and its opponents.
Garbodor Disengages 1 meter east and uses Toxic Spikes. This triggers Type Strategist for +5 DR.
Scolipede does nothing but keep Garbodor in front of it. Speed Boost triggers.

"Jump out!" Eve commands Vee, "and Quick Attack again!" ordering a move that would place her at the beginning of the order once more just in case something even nastier happened. She hoped that the jump would prevent any of Toxic Spike's nasty side effects from triggering. In the mean time, she mirrored Ms. Couch Potatoe's strategy with her Draconeon, ordering, "Dragon Dance and stay out of reach!". Inspired and brutal commands for this round. Eve was going to so need that lucky break right now... like she always did.
