Shossk simply pokes the image of the creature, mildly hoping it didn't lead to more texts he couldn't read.

Yoko was mildly surprised that she had missed the storage lockers earlier, but decides to blame the steam for it. Setting her Remoraid down on top of the lockers for the time being, Yoko stripped out of her gear and deposited her belongings in one of the storage lockers. With her belongings secured in a safe and dry place, Yoko picked her Remoraid back up and walked back over to the steps, then descended down into the water.

Iris The face shifts a series of images across the screen one after another showing AL progressively rolling its eyes. "The Gods did what they were planning to do, what do you think?" The image holds still and silent for a moment before continuing. "They reset everything both for the lot of you and your Pokemon. You finished what they wanted you to and tossed you aside." An image with AL's acid smile slides up. "And what do you think that thing is? It's a Pokemon."
Shossk The red cross flows away and the image of the dog creature shrinks a bit as a multitude of other animals flow onto the screen. Many of them seem like strange variants of animals and plants you recognize, Bat, Owl, Cat, Snake, Falcon, Rat, Crab. The list goes on. Some appear to be modeled after inorganic objects as well, you see one that looks like the summoning orbs with eyes. They all dance and flow across the screen.
Yoko Just as it did with her hands earlier the water seems to sap Yoko's worries out of her very being.

The summoning orbs with eyes catch Shossk's attention. Were they a variation of mimic? Shossk had never encountered the traditional chest-mimicking mimics, but such creatures were nonetheless infamous to adventurers, Lianna had noted.
He pokes the image.

It expands until it fills most of the screen, just as with the green cloak there is a paragraph of text underneath it and a number with the slashed AL symbol to the right. A slot appears on the pillar below as well.

"Alright, they reset everything," Iris tossed back, unfazed, "In that case, where are Turk and Amy if they aren't with me? If everything was reset, why do I still remember? Why am I here and not on the plane?". <Slow down, Iris. Slow down,> the curious oracle had to remind herself after asking everything she wanted, <What will I even do with the answer to the last two? Remember to focus your questions.>. However, there was still one thing Iris wanted to ask right now, "And... you are sure that this starter you gave me is just a Pokemon? Nothing special with no previous relation to me? Maybe... did you happen to create these starters yourself?".

"Oh, those two. They're still on the plane. When I grabbed you I could only focus on the one signal, so they reset like normal and you got pulled in here." The image switches to one of AL narrowing its eyes. "And how do you think you kept your memories? I grabbed you in the instant before they purged em. You'd be way less interesting without em." At the question of Pokemon the image shifts to one of an exasperated AL. "It's a Pokemon for the given value of Pokemon. It's partially made from your memories but not the ones you're thinking of. And yeah, I created everything here. Shaped it from the aether myself, you tend to have a lot of spare time when that's not a physical concept you're bound to."

Yoko gave a pleased sigh of relief as she lowered herself into the pleasantly warm water, her worries slipping away and being replaced with a calming feeling. She definitely made the right choice. Her Remoraid wiggled a little in her grip when it too felt the water, so Yoko happily lets go of the fish to let it freely swim around in the water. She lay there for a short while, content with just enjoying the feeling of soaking in a warm onsen and idly watching her Remoraid lazily swim around just below the surface of the water. After a while of just watching her Remoraid, Yoko started becoming curious about it. Why had she been given this fish? Iris had said that these Pokémon creatures have special abilities, so what did this one have? Aside from its unusual appearance, it looked like any other kind of fish to Yoko, so what was so special about it?

This was an unfortunate if not unforeseen occurrence. Shossk doesn't bother sticking an arrow into the pedestal's slot this time as he already knows it won't do any good. In fact he doesn't bother to check the remaining pedestal, either, figuring it will be simpler to let one of his hopefully-literate team members inspect it, regardless of whether it has any text or not.
He scans around the room instead. The door to the 'field' room is still closed, as is the unmarked door, but what catches his attention is that the 'hot spring' door was now closed. All of the other checked rooms had their doors left open, so why was this one now closed?
Shossk quickly heads over, thinking something may have gone wrong, and opens the door.

Yoko The Remoraid swims around for a short while before turning back to Yoko, looking at her expectantly.
Shossk The hot spring room is a medium sized with a large steaming hot spring in the center. Directly in front of the door, there is a set of stairs leading down into the slightly moving water. Even though the room itself is filled with steam none seems to escape into the main hall.

<So thank god they're save,> Iris heaved a sigh of relief at the good news, <Nevermind what Gerard said about the plane being mid-crash when we were pulled out and how it's possible the gods don't give enough to save. Nevermind that. Nevermind that. I can only hope for the best.>
<Ah, great. So he knows what I'm thinking, too,> Iris's cool down was interrupted by that implied revelation. She felt torn. On one hand, as a human, she never could just accept her mind being constantly viewed. On the other hand, that was exactly what had happened for months, and it seemed like it would continue happening.
For the moment, since it seemed rude to rummage through her pack now, Iris mentally jotted down everything in her mind. She had one more question she wanted to ask before she really needed to move on to asking Shossk why he shoved an arrow into one of the terminals, something she had noticed just now. "AL," Iris asked as she pointed at the blank door, "What's that room for? I'm curious about everything in it, but especially that glass container in that dark room."

That subtle pre-combat tension works its way into Shossk's being. He draws his bow, something which the dartrix takes notice of and flutters over to join Shossk.
"Thiss door was shut when it wasnn't before. I am enterring," Shossk announces loudly to Iris so at least someone in the party knows where he is, as is standard operating procedure in adventuring parties.
He then enters the room, quickly checking behind the door, the corners of the room, the ceiling, and the room in general for anything that may have gone wrong. The dartrix's Keen Eyes peer through the steam as well.

Hm... maybe I'm supposed to think of something specifically, Yoko thought as she stared back at her Remoraid, then concentrated on the word "Remoraid". She then tried a few other words: "Gender", "Abilities", "Strengths", "Weaknesses", and after a brief delay, she thought of a specific question: "Does it need to be in water to survive?"

Iris The image of AL shifted so the new one's eyes followed the direction Iris was pointing. "Oh. That. What do you want it to be? It's there if someone needs a space for something specific. Just feel free to make the request and I'll tell you what you need to do to access that room." The image shifts to one of AL looking at her with a scowl. "What do you want with that specific room anyway? It's boring, you already saw what was in it."
Shossk Shossk finds steam, water in the basin and little else in the room.
Yoko As she concentrates on the word she hears it echo in her head for a moment. In her minds eye a series of numbers, statistics, and other strange concepts pop up. Its type is apparently "Water" despite it being a living fish. When she thinks of "Gender" the portion of the values enlarges itself show that the fish is "Male". "Abilities" Highlights two sections, in turn, one marked "Movelist" which shows several different names with "Types" after them and a series of seemingly gibberish numbers and then the name "Hustle" which states that it deals more damage at the cost of missing more often. "Strengths" shows a list of types that the "Water" type is strong against and "Weaknesses" shows the "Types" a water type is weak against. When she thinks on the question of surviving out of water she sees a montage of herself carrying the fish around for several minutes without it seeming inconvenienced.

Iris nods a little absentmindedly at Shossk. Though, a small frown does find its way onto her face when she notices he seems to expect some sort of fight... in the hot springs... or at least what Iris assumed to be hot springs.
The small frown deepens when Iris finishes listening to AL's response. It wasn't an angry frown. It was a thinking frown. Upon deciding that she was pretty sure AL did have a problem with her asking about the room, Iris turns her frown upside down. Smiling, she merely shakes her head and explains, "No, I don't think we need an extra room right now. The dark room in particular just seemed interesting, especially when you say it that way. Anyways, thank you." With that, she steps away from the terminal and waits for it to... shut off somehow.

Shossk blinks, then lowers his weapon. Perhaps nothing had gone awry at all? Perhaps one of the others had left this door closed for a reason? At the very least, Shossk had now checked the room for himself, discovering that it was, in fact, a hot spring room.
He and the dartrix leave, closing the door behind them. If the door had been shut for a reason then Shossk would leave it so.
"Therre was nothing," Shossk flatly states, coming up beside and dwarfing Iris. He doesn't do much else besides watch what she's doing. Having checked four of the rooms and failed to ascertain the use of two of the pedestals, he believes the others should have the rest handled.

Iris The image of AL changes to a more neutral expression and simply sits there. After a short while, it speaks up. "What are you waiting for? Scram."

Yoko was surprised that it actually worked, but was quickly overwhelmed by all the information she was getting. With this overdose of information, more questions popped into Yoko's head, but for now she concentrated on the word that came up multiple times in the previous inquiries she made: "Type". After that, Yoko concentrated on each name listed under "Movelist", and upon seeing one labelled "Water Gun", she tilted her head in confusion. "Water Gun? What's that supposed to mean?" she asked out loud to no one in particular, partially expecting an answer.

Iris stuck a tongue out and scrammed... to the terminal with an arrow stuck in it. After taking out the arrow, Iris wagged it to the Shossk who had just reappeared from the hot springs. "Good job, soldier," she quipped sort of absentmindedly, her mind working on the computer in front of her. In a couple clicks, she reached the, supposed, item selection page. Some of these items she recognized. Putting two and two together... this was a shop. The grey and purple bottle was self explanatory, but that's also what made it a good choice to test her theory. Iris clicked on the bottle, and once the menu shifted to the next step, Iris would click on the same bottle again.

Shossk's head raises slightly at the praise. He doesn't fully understand what he's being praised for, but it elicited a pleasant feeling nonetheless. He then stands beside Iris as she interacts with the shop pedestal.
"Can youu read these words?" Shossk asks, looking at the screen but again not really understanding anything beyond the pictures.
