Honedge sensing his master's pain manipulates itself and brings its edge to bear against the feral Poochyena. The blade still within Sarcourne's hand shifts between multiple offensive guards to evoke a battle readiness. A low and angry ghostly hum can be heard thrumming from the blade, even over the rain. Honedge's turn: Swords Dance. Honedge's Attack is raised 2 combat stages. Sarcourne reaches to his belt and deftly unscrews the lid on the golden engraved Estus Flask. "Good thing I got this at that church..." He quickly brings the flask up to his lips as the warming liquid pours down his throat and is immediately absorbed into his body. With a grunt Sarcourne feels his leg mend itself to an extent, but was still painful to put weight on. He shifts his stance so that his uninjured leg takes the lead and readies himself to allow Honedge its move while holding his position at Lucia's back. Sarcourne uses a full round action to take the first of five Estus doses and heals 20 HP.

Lucia's strike wounds the beast; it staggers back, leaking a grayish fluid from its wounds, making unnatural, hair-raising hissing sounds as it glares at the woman. Canter's hit might've been badly placed, but it was no less effective. The Hollow Poochyena shatters like glass, the shards flying backwards amid a shower of gore, scattering around the area. Lucia has wounded her target. Canter killed hers. It is now Sedna's turn.

Sedna hurting badly from the two Poochyena's attacks moves to behind Jalena and aims a Water Gun at the closest one of the pair. The stream of water slamming hard into the target's face. Sedna uses Water Gun on the pink poochyena dealing 41 damage before resistances and defences.

The Hollow Poochyena cracks and shatters with a cry, scattered across the ground in millions of fragments.

Jalena grabs her flask off her belt and unscrewing the cap on it gives Sedna a dose of it. "That should keep you on your feet for a bit longer Sedna" she says as she re-seals the flask. Sedna heals 20 hp.

Marshall twisted around on Canter's back leaning backward and thrusting at one of the beasts behind him as he moved. These things were already fairly exposed with how little thought they put into defending themselves, there wasn't much use in flanking them. Marshall took a deep breath, letting his adrenaline course through him, ready to react and drop to one side of Canter if any of the dogs tried to leap at him. Shift action = Activating flutter, +3 evasion for Marshall
Using the short-spear's reach to make armed struggle attack vs blue poocheyana 14 on the die vs AC 4 17 normal type physical damage

The remaining two Hollows charge. One, the wounded one, attempts to Tackle Sedna again, but collides, face-first, with the mud. The second, unscratched for the entire fight, leaps at Canter, colliding with the Ponyta and dealing heavy damage, sending the young Ponyta stumbling backwards. Canter takes 17 damage, counting for defense. Lucia/the Honedges' turn!

So this is going to be an If doge (purple) dies with first attack, then move, Else stay and punish turn Only two left and no one of her allies had fallen, the tides were turning for the better. This was amazing news! Quickly following the lead of taking out those whom wished to cause her allies harm Lucia swung Chunchunmaru down upon the closest offending critter with a massive amount of pain. Should it fall, she'd use the momentum from the swing to twirl over to the last remaining Poochyena and Honedge itself would bring down its own pain. So this is Metal Claw 19 vs AC 3 on Purple Doge (+1 Atk CS) 22 Metal damage before resist and Def.
Followed by Fury Cutter 18 vs AC 3 24 Bug damage before resist and Def

Lucia's blade strikes true. The first Poochyena is sliced in twain, crumbling to ash with a loud cry, and the second one is staggered by the force of the blow.

Seizing the opportunity to sneak an attack in, Sarcourne released his hold on Savior, "Fury Cutter!" The ghostly blade shot toward its target and viciously dug its steel into the last Hollow with a metallic ringing cry for revenge. Honedge uses its swift action to disengage from Sarcourne's grasp. Then shifts adjacent to Orange Poochyena. Strikes out with Fury Cutter with a +3 from its No Guard ability and rolled a 14 v. Ac 3. Then deals out hefty bonus damage thanks to the raise in attack stage. 1d8+6 +21 33 damage

As the Hollow opens its mouth to roar at Sarcourne, he drives his Honedge deep down the monster's throat. The creature's body crumbles to ash, and you find yourselves alone in the pouring rain once more. Each of you gain 5xp to distribute among your Pokemon. Each trainer gains* 1 trainer xp.
*In order to keep you competitive in this lethal world, every time you finish a battle, you gain 1 trainer xp. Every time you catch a new Pokemon, you gain 1 trainer level. There may be other means of gaining trainer xp...

Jalena seeing the last of the Hollows fall to one of her companions' blows lets out a sigh of relief and says"Phew, that was a lot closer of a battle than I'd have liked, Sedna almost died there." Once she'd said that she bent down to check that her Popplio was fine and once she was assured of this she put it back in its ball.

After having finished off the last Hollow, Savior quickly hovers back to its master and offers its hilt. Sarcourne takes it along with a few deep breathes as the adrenaline started to wane. He winces and leans on his right leg. The concerned Honedge begins to struggle as it attempts to help support some of Sarcourne's weight by wrapping its blue sash about Sarcourne's arm, but the ghostly blade simply can't bear the load of a human. "It'll be alright, buddy. I can manage limping for a while." While saying that the pain slowly intensified in his shin. Any movement with his knee caused agony to shoot up his body. With a frown, Sarcourne faced the group and raised his voice again to be heard over the downpour, "Leg is busted a bit, but I can manage. The sooner we get to the tower, the sooner we can recover from that fight. We should get going before we're ambushed again." He then began to slog his way through the mud with a limp. Honedge in hand was obviously trying to help Sarcourne along as the rain battered down and only made the walk that much more difficult and miserable.

Marshall wheeled around, and for several long seconds even after the battle was done ran Canter back and forth, looking for more foes. Nerves burning, he felt it in his gut that there would be more, a flood of hollow pokemon coming out of the trees, but none came. Finally Marshall slowed down, taking deep breaths to calm himself and then dismounting from the ponyta.
"Shhh," he showed a moment of surprising tenderness as he calmed the ponyta and then gingerly examined her wounds. He would tend to her after they got to safety she was not terribly injured yet but she would need to rest.
"Wait, if your pokemon is close to death we should tend to it now before moving on just in case. There is no undoing it if it does fall" Marshall said approaching Jelena and kneeling down. From inside his bag he pulled another smaller bag, opening to reveal first aid instruments inside, thread and needle and disinfectant. He looked up at Sarcourne limping forward, "I can help you too but only if you put your honedge back in its ball. I never saw you release it have you had it loose this whole time?"

Turning to Marshall Jelena gives him a smile of appreciation and says, "Thank you for helping Sedna I'm sure she'd be happy to have you treat her wounds" with that said she released Sedna from her ball once more and looking the Popplio in the eyes and in a serious tone said, "Marshall here is going to tend to your wounds so I want you to keep still to the best of your ability okay?" The small seal pokemon gave her a small nod and turned to the man who would be treating her injuries.

Marshall kneeled down to the Poppilo holding his hand out for it to sniff before taking a look over its injuries. It had been a brutal takcle, and looked like a few of the seal's ribs had been broken from the heavy damage, difficult to treat. "I can't set the ribs but I can ease his pain and make sure he doesn't injure himself further moving around..." Marshall said in a professional tone. Gently wrapping the poppilo up, he showed surprising gingerness for his coarse personality, applying some minor poultices and sewing up the gash where he had hit the rock. Everything disinfected Marshall stood up and stepped away. "There you go. What about you?" He looked over to Sarcourne again with a slight frown. Use first aide to heal 18 hp

Sarcourne about faced and returned a few steps when Marshall addressed him, but he waited to answer until he was done soothing the unfamiliar water Pokemon. The mud gathered puddles where their feet had tread and the rain continued to batter down in sheets. He gripped Savior's hilt with anxiety as he kept a close eye on the surrounding forest until Marshall spoke again. "To answer your first question, yes. That's how it has always been for us." Sarcourne stopped his explanation there. Not wanting to give more information than what was needed. "As for my leg. I can manage until we get somewhere safer and not exposed in all directions. More hollows might be on our trail, but if you insist, I'll accept your kindness." The younger man gave a mixed smile of genuine appreciation, but it was tinged with wariness of being caught in enemy territory. Sarcourne will comply if Marshall insists on healing him now and will return Savior to his ball. If not, then Sarcourne will keep Honedge at the ready in case of another ambush.

After stitching your wounds up, you continue onwards, the great tower looming ahead. The rain continues to pound downwards, unabated. As you approach, you espy, thorough the rain, fog, and trees, Pokemon- not Hollows, but living, normal Pokemon- quietly making their own way to the tower. These seem to be small, mainly first-form Pokemon, like Whimsicott, Petlil, and Lilipup; all of them are furtive, as though they are afraid of being caught. 2 weeks is long enough for me to wait. The show must go on!
